How do we know when to make a change and when to accept our circumstances? Is it better to stay in a familiar and safe situation than it is to take a risk on ourselves? Should we fulfill the expectations of our family or live a life that we find fulfilling?
These questions are delicate balances we will each need to navigate in our lives. Finding where the line is between hurting others and hurting ourself can be hard to find. But at the end of the day, we only have one life to live. It's impossible to please everyone. But with kindness, love and compassion we can do anything.
In today's podcast, I share how we can strike that balance. I talk about knowing when to make those big changes, whether it's quitting a job, quitting an addiction, moving to another city, or making a change in our relationships. I discuss how we can find the answer that speaks to our heart and true purpose, how to do so wisely to minimize risk, and how to honor and love the people who have different visions for how we should live our life.

Life moves in cycles. It is the nature of all things. We live in cycles with the sun, the moon, and the seasons. Our life moves in phases from infancy through old age. We have times of high energy, low energy, emotional highs and emotional lows. This is the nature of being human.
When we spend our whole life engaged in doing things, we fail to understand how these bodies of ours operate. It's like we're strapped into a rollercoaster and we have no choice but to go along for the ride without any control or influence on the journey. When we start to pay attention and notice the patterns and cycles, we can prepare for those twists and turns, and even begin to know how to effect them.
In today's podcast, I talk about what to do when we have a low day, why we have low days, and what we can do to prevent them from happening in the first place.
I discuss ways to understand our natural cycles and rhythms. I share how we can deal with the lows, reduce the number of lows, and lift the base of our rollercoaster's platform so that the lows aren't so low and the highs are even higher.

There are four common mistakes in our thinking that nearly all of us make and that contribute to our suffering. These misguided thoughts that stem from false beliefs cause us to inadvertently harm ourselves, our communities, and our planet.
In this podcast, I share what those mistaken beliefs are, where they came from, how to spot them, and what we can do about them. I talk about how they block us from becoming truly happy, and what we we can do to overcome those blocks and start living a life of fulfillment and joy right here and now.

Forget disinformation, misinformation and malinformation. We live in a world of mass information. Every one of has access to endless content on our phones, TVs, VR headsets and tablets. Unfortunately, those algorithms don't tell us what is actually the most important, helpful, useful or honest content to consume. So what are we to do?
In this podcast, I share how we can navigate this increasingly complex media landscape, how to notice bias and manipulation, and most importantly how to stay grounded to the things that really matter in life.

Most people have a misconception about spirituality. Most people think you're either spiritual or you're not. But spiritual is not something that some people have and some people don't have. The question is whether we're connected to our spirituality or not.
In this podcast, I explore the true nature of spirituality. I share where spiritual answers can be found. I discuss the roadblocks we face on our spiritual journey and how to overcome them, and how we can develop a deeper connection to the source of all life.

Why is doing nothing the hardest thing in the world? It's not a mystery. It's because we are so used to doing, achieving, consuming, creating, analyzing and judging. But when we can break through that compulsion to mindlessly fill up the peaceful silence with needless noise, the world becomes ours.
There is perhaps no greater ability than the ability to find peace and joy within ourselves. In this podcast, I share the three most important steps for breaking through that barrier to peace. After 12 years and 10,000 hours meditating, this is what helped me go from a fidgety person with ADHD, to someone who loves meditation and can't live without it.

We all have times in our lives when we are going through difficult times and we start to wonder why the heck we're here? We can begin to lose faith that we are here for any other purpose than to suffer.
But there is a cause for this crisis of meaninglessness. When we understand the cause, we are able to see that it is not life that has lost meaning. It is we who have forgotten how to give life meaning.
In this podcast, I share a simple two-step solution for getting out of a funk, finding joy again, and giving your life the meaning and purpose you've been looking for.

Oftentimes, we try to conform in order to get approval and acceptance. But we never get it and we just end up pretending to be someone we're not.
The truth is, we won't be liked by everybody. But the more we can be ourselves, the more we will find genuine friends who love us for exactly who we are.
In this podcast, I share a 4-step process for finding your authenticity and courage within. I talk about how to quiet the outside noise and live in alignment with who you truly are. And I share how to find the soul tribe you've been looking for.

Introspection is a natural activity that humans have been doing since we've been around. Today however, we have very little time in our waking lives to think, reflect and ponder. This has led us to forgetting how to do this very important and necessary practice.
In this podcast, I talk about why some people feel depressed after reflecting on something difficult in their lives, and I share how we can avoid that depression trap. I also talk about why we need introspection, what most people get wrong about it, and how we can make sure we're doing it right.

Is life a competition or a cooperation? What is the best way to achieve in life? If some people get ahead by cheating and competing, would we be fools to "play by the rules?"
The truth is, whether we see the world as a competition or a cooperation has less to do with the world and more to do with how we see the world. If we feel separate from everyone, competition is natural. If we see the oneness, cooperation is inevitable.
In this podcast, I explore the fear that lies at the heart of competition. I talk about the mindset of lack, greed and selfishness that emerge from this fear. And I share how we can both achieve great success, while also holding on to our inner peace and lasting happiness.

We hear that desire is the root of all suffering. But sometimes desire can lead us toward finding our future spouse. It can lead to success, fun times, and good health. Desire is even often what sets us down the spiritual path.
So is desire always bad? Why do we have this insatiable desire within us? Is there more than one kind of desire? And how can we use desire without letting it make us suffer? I answer these questions and more in this podcast.

Anger is like pumping air into a balloon. When it starts to get overinflated, little leaks sprout up. Most of us try to cover those little holes with band-aids, such as alcohol, food, screen time, etc... But that only causes new holes to spring up. We must learn to turn off the air pump if we want to get to the root of the problem.
But is anger always bad? Is it ever justified? Can it be good if we use it to fuel positive change in society? And isn't it worse if we try to stuff our anger down?
In this podcast, I discuss the two different kinds of anger. I share how to use anger wisely, how to be angry without letting our blood pressure skyrocket, how to let it out in a healthy way so that we don't explode, and how to turn off the tap of anger altogether.

All addictions rob us of the chance to be at deep peace and rest. They take over our mind, and chasing the high becomes our full-time job with overtime. Only when we don’t know the deep peace within do we search for it in vain outside of ourselves.
Enjoying our favorite activities without attachment and craving is the key to freedom. It is when we become attached that we sacrifice our future well being for short term relief and escape.
In this podcast, I share how to get in touch with your inner peace and bliss, rise above addiction, and become free from the impulses and whims of the ego.

Without every single part of bicycle, a bike would cease to be a bike. Like each link in a bike chain, every part is integral to the form and function of the bicycle. So too, every single one of us is an expression of the universe in this moment, inseparable and indistinguishable.
When we realize we are the oneness of the universe, we stop falling for the illusion of separateness and isolation. All the self-pressure, self-consciousness and self-doubt fades away as we realize there is no self. In today's podcast, see beyond the veil of duality, discover your true nature, and feel the universe within.

What does it mean to listen to our heart? How do we even do that? And how do we resolve the inner conflict between our head and our heart?
We need the mind's critical thinking, but we also need the heart's trust. We need the mind's protection, but we wouldn't be here without the heart's love. For most of us, this creates an imbalance inside ourselves.
In today's podcast, I share the difference between the mind's intelligence and the heart's wisdom. I talk about how to connect the two. And I discuss two simple ways we can make sure they are working together in harmony and alignment.
