We often talk about how gorgeous the Alien films look. How lived-in they feel, how great the ship designs are, how iconic the creatures have become. But so much of what makes the Alien Saga special isn't visual at all: it's what they sound like.
In today's episode, Jaime, Patrick, Christian, and Adam chat with Lee Gilmore, Alien: Romulus' Supervising Sound Editor, about the huge honor—and challenge—of adding to that rich sonic history with this new film.
Wondering how they got the Corbelan IV to sound so real? How they managed to make the xenomorph's iconic scream feel more terrifying than ever? Join as as Lee takes us on a journey through the amazing sound design of Alien: Romulus.

One of the most iconic new elements introduced by Alien: Isolation ten years ago—at least judging by how often it's been referenced in the expanded universe and fan art—is the Working Joe.
Unlike their Hyperdyne competitors, Seegson Synthetics' androids are ... rudimentary, to put it mildly. Not only are they utilitarian and cheap, they are outright dangerous. Hilarious as they are terrifying, Working Joes are a major element of any Isolation playthrough.
On today's episode, Jaime, Patrick, and Christian are joined by our friend Adam Zeller of Alien vs. Predator Galaxy and first-time guest Matt Savage (Concept Designer for a little film you might've heard of called Alien: Romulus).

In a first for Perfect Organism: The Alien Saga Podcast, this episode is hosted by Andie Geekgirl featuring an all female panel consisting of co- author of Inferno's Fall, Clara Carja, Narrator of ALIENS: Bishop, Shiromi Arserio and the voice of Maeko from ALIENS: Dark Descent, Julianna Kurokawa.
In this very special presentation, Andie guides our guests through a discussion on the legacy of Ellen Ripley, what she means to everyone as women and what it's like to be female fans in a very male-dominated fandom.
