  • Hugh Travers is a Dublin-based screenwriter and playwright. His credits include the recent feature film, Your Mother Should Know, the TV miniseries Trial of the Century as well as Election 18 and Red Rock. His theatre credits include Lambo, Clear the Air and the upcoming play These Stupid Things (Smock Alley 16th to 21st of July). He is a founder member of the White Label theatre collective and a former participant of Rough Magic SEEDS. His plays have been longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize, the Verity Bargate Award and the Papatango New Writing Prize

  • Dan Duffy is a 23-year-old DJ and is currently one of the busiest DJs on the island of Ireland who seems to be involved across a range of different parties. Having featured on lineups in Dublin, Belfast, Ibiza, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Vancouver and many more ranging from hip-hop to dance music with some of the biggest artists in the world it seems like the sky is the limit!

  • A Dublin native, Tony Doyle is a graduate of the Full Time programme in Bow Street. He was the lead alongside Salma Hayek in Jim Sheridans short 11th Hour which just screened at Tribecca Film Festival. This year he also has supporting roles in Rebellion Series 2: Resistance, Micheal Inside directed by Frank Berry and Maria Doyle- Kennedys directorial debut short A Different Kind of Story which will have its premiere at this years Galway Film Fleadh. He has also appeared in John Carneys Sing Street, The Flag alongside Pat Shortt, The Secret Scripture and Red Rock. He will also be appearing in the film adaptation of Dublin Old School, written by Emmet Kirwan and Dave Tynan.

  • Leah Moore has a degree in drama from DIT has been involved in theatre and film from a very young age. Screen projects include; The End of The Reel (Blinder Productions), Whole in the Head (IFB), Battle (Winner of best film at the Portland International Film Festival), Dub Daze (Story Creative Artists) which premiered in the Dublin International Film Festival and most recently shot Restoration by Shaun Dunne.

    Leah devised and directed her first original play 8 Chairs which debuted in Smock Alley Theatre in Spring 2014. Since then she has gone on to direct numerous productions in theatres such as Smock Alley, The Lyric Belfast and The MAC Belfast and is the Artistic Director of SQUAD Theatre Company. Most recently Leah assistant directed the touring productions of Rapids by Shaun Dunne. Leah wrote and performed as Casey in Wasting Paper in Smock Alley Theatre and as part of the DIGTF where she won the Oscar Wilde Award for New Writing.

    Among his honors are two Drama Desk nominations, The Johnny Mercer

    Songwriter Award, The ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons

    He has written music and lyrics for the Broadway musical A CATERED AFFAIR

    with a book by Harvey Fierstein (nominated for 12 Drama Desk Awards, 3

    Tony awards, and winner of the New York Drama League Award for Best

    Musical), as well as the musicals URBAN MYTHS, LAVENDER GIRL, the new

    Danish musical ESAURA, the revue IT’S ONLY LIFE, and the Dreamworks

    animated film JOSEPH, KING OF DREAMS, and the lyrics for the children’s

    musical SIMEON’S GIFT with a book by Julie Andrews and Emma Walton

    Hamilton and music by Ian Fraser. Some recordings of his work are:

    Juliette Crosbie is a graduate of The Gaiety School of Acting .

    Juliette has just wrapped production on The Other Lamb, directed by international award winning director Malgorzata Zsumowska. She will appear at Farmleigh Estate on May 4th to present a scene, ‘A Paper Airplane’ from the Fighting Words Dublin Group.

    Stage Credits Include;

    National Tour with The Abbey Theatre in the one-woman play Me Sara (The Peacock Theatre, Mick Lally, Galway)

    Irish premiere of Geroid Humphreys Norah (The New Theatre, The Lyric, Watergate, Riverbank) Juliette received high praise for her performance in the titular role. The Shaughraun (Smock Alley), Half Light (Baboro Childrens Festival ’18, The Ark, Smock Alley, The New Theatre), True Pirates Never Die (Smock Alley), award winning Fierce Notions (Smock Alley), Measure for Measure (National Monuments), GIRLPLAY (Morrigu Productions.)

    Film Credits include international feature The Other Lamb, the award winning feature Writing Home, Daddy Issues (dir. Tony Kelly) and DIT short PITSTOP.

    She is a well known jazz singer in the Dublin scene, having performed and hosted The Dublin Burlesque festival, in ’16 and ’17, as well as being an accomplished musician, trained in several instruments.

    Juliette has also featured as the voice for ‘Anna Meyers’, the female heroine of the video game Murder in The Alps, which is now available on SmartPhone and Tablet for free. She has also voiced the character of Anna Banana on the Nickolodeon Childrens TV show Rainbow Rangers, which has just aired in the US.

    Brian Gallagher is an accomplished stand up comedian, originally from Limerick, now based in Dublin.

    He is a regular in some of the top comedy clubs in Ireland and is the co producer of Riff Raff Comedy Club, which puts on weekly shows in Dublin and Galway featuring the best of Irish and UK stand up. Brian has performed at some of Europe's best festivals including a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe and he is a popular contributor to the hugely successful YouTube channel, The Try Channel.

  • Dylan Coburn Gray is a playwright based in Dublin. His sole authored work includes Boys and Girls (winner of the Fishamble Best New Writing Award, nominated for the Stewart Parker Trust award) and Citysong (winner of Soho Theatre's Verity Bargate Award 2017). Collaborative work with MALAPROP Theatre includes Love+ (winner of the Spirit of Fringe award 2015) and Everything Not Saved (winner of the Georganne Aldrich Heller Award 2017, The Guardian's Best Shows of Edinburgh Fringe 2018). Both strands of his work play with form, and aim to challenge and delight in equal measure.

    David is the Artistic Director of the famous Bewley’s Café Theatre in Dublin. He is also a freelance director and an award winning writer for stage and screen.

    His play Class, co-written and directed with Iseult Golden, won Best Theatre Script, ZeBBie Awards from the Writers Guild of Ireland and an Edinburgh Fringe First Award in 2018\. Other writing credits include Belonging to Laura, a contemporary film adaptation of Lady Windermere’s Fan (Accomplice/TV3) and The Importance of Being Whatever, an adaption of Earnest (IFTA Winner 2012).

    Meg Healy graduated from DIT with a BA Hons degree in  Drama Performance. Upon graduating, she co-founded The Sad Strippers Theatre Company along side Ciara Smyth and Laura Brady. 

    Some recent credits are Reality:Check’s Disco Pigs & Sucking Dublin (Winner of the Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Ensemble), Verdant Production’s ‘Trainspotting’ at the Olympia and Ciara Smyth’s ‘We Can’t Have Monkeys In the House’ at The New Theatre. 

    Meg is next appearing in ‘Arachnophilia’ which will run  in The New Theatre 16th – 20th April.

    Roxanna Nic Liam is an Irish actor who has worked in Ireland and the U.K.

    She has worked with many Irish theatre companies including at The Abbey Theatre; (The Passing, Perve, The Plough and The Stars), Druid (Be Infants In Evil), Brokentalkers (This Is Still Life, The Passion Project), THEATREclub (Rough, THEATREclub Stole Your Clock Radio) and AXIS Ballymun (Stór).

    In the U.K. she had worked at The National Theatre (Liolà, Broad Shadow), toured the UK with English Touring Theatre (Translations) and The Separation at Theatre 503.

    In film she has starred in Agnes Browne, Rat, Two Hearts and The Cherishing.

    For tv she starred in Love/Hate and is currently on Fair City.

    She is also a practising and trained drama facilitator.

    She writes and performs poetry.

    Erin McGathy is a comedian, podcast host, performer and writer newly relocated to Dublin.

    Irish audiences will best know Erin from Dreamgun Film Reads and Mob Theatre. As well as this, Erin has appeared on NBC’s Community, Comedy Central’s Drunk History, Seeso’s Harmonquest and can be heard on podcasts This Feels Terrible, Human Conversation and Harmontown. A regular at the UCB Theatre Los Angeles, The Nerdist Comedy Theatre, and iOWest, Erin has also performed at The Second City in both LA and Chicago. She has mounted several performances and plays in the U.S. and abroad. Raised on many an American Navel base around the globe, Erin studied comedy and writing at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles and acting at San Francisco State University.

    Lauren Larkin is an actor from Dublin.

    Her recent work includes Split Ends at Bewley's Cafe Theatre, written and performed by Lauren as part of the show in a bag initiative with The Dublin Fringe festival, Shelter with Druid Theatre company (nominated for best actress at the Irish times Irish theatre awards), My Son My Son by Veronica Dyas at Project Arts Centre. Her work with THEATREclub includes HEROIN, The Game, HISTORY, The Family and Twenty Ten(nominated for best performer at Dublin Fringe)

    Her work with Shaun Dunne and Talking Shop Ensemble includes I am a Homebird (it’s very hard), Death of The Tradesmen, Advocacy (winner of best performer at Dublin Fringe) and Rapids.

    Her TV and film credits include, Love/hate, Humble brag (Sinead o’shea) and Everybody Sings (Shaun Dunne).

    This episode is ahead of Lauren's two week run at Bewley's (1st -13th of April) following a critically acclaimed, sold out run at Dublin Fringe etc etc.

    Liz Alper is a TV writer and producer based in Los Angeles. Credits include “Chicago Fire,” “Hawaii Five-0” and new show “The Rookie,” starring Nathan Fillion. She lives in LA with two living plants and about a dozen dead ones.

    Kwaku Fortune holds a Bachelor in Acting degree from The Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin (in partnership with RADA). He is currently appearing in The Ark production of PEAT, directed by Tim Crouch.

    His most recent credits include the role of Julian in Sophie Hyde's forthcoming feature ANIMALS and the role of Eli in ASKING FOR IT by Louise Neill (Adapted by Meadhbh McHugh in collaboration with Annabelle Comyn) for Landmark Productions at the Abbey Theatre.

    Screen credits include the the role of Finn in Aoife McArdle's feature KISSING CANDICE (which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2017), Noel in Alan Dunne's short film IDLE, BIBLE STUDIES directed by Graham Bollard, in which he played the role of John, the role of Aden in Wu Tsang's TIED AND TRUE, Rob Clarke's DIT short THE DAY AFTER YESTERDAY, 13 STEPS DOWN directed by Marek Losey for ITV and the RTÉ series THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING WHATEVER, directed by Rob and Ronan Burke, in which he played the lead role of Tobi. 

    Other theatre credits include the role of Dara Mood in Marina Carr's ON RAFTERY'S HILL, directed by Catriona McLaughlin at the Abbey and the lead role of Patrick in PLAYBOYZ, a re-imagining of JM Synge's Playboy of the Western World written and directed by Martin Sharry as part of Dublin Theatre Festival 2017. 

    Kwaku's credits with The Lír include THE SKRIKER and BUDDLEIA , both directed by Tom Creed, THE CRADLE WILL ROCK directed by Wayne Jordan,  GIVEN THE DAY, which he also co-devised with director Louise Lowe, BY THE BOG OF CATS directed by Selina Cartmell, AGAMEMNON directed by Wayne Jordan, AS YOU LIKE IT and THE PETTY BOURGEOIS both directed by Hilary Wood and UNCLE VANYA directed by David Horan.

    You’ll best know Aine O'Neill from her work on Ireland’s most popular YouTube channel’s, TRY Channel and FACTS. A Carlow native, Aine graduated from Carlow IT with a degree in English and History, but now works as a producer on some of Ireland’s top shows such as Salon Confidential and The Rotunda.

    Aine is also a screenwriter currently working on a feature film as well as multiple projects for TV. Later this year, she plans to move to LA to develop these projects future.
