Our raven friend was sitting in a tree across the street in the neighbors backyard just talking up a storm. They stay in one spot for a moment before moving off a bit deeper into the neighborhood. You'll also hear robins and barn swallows closer to the recorder.
I heard the raven from my room and ran outside to capture them on record. Recorded this on my Pixel which has some pretty amazing audio capturing abilities. This episode comes from a half hour file but I cut out a lot of the traffic and airplanes. We get a lot of airplanes flying overhead. Expect an episode with just planes, I'm saving every plane I record.

Join us as we step outside of the vehicle and capture this eagle calling out. Not sure if it's an alarm call or if it's calling out to another eagle which was nearby and flew off as we exited the vehicle.
This was recorded just off the beach near a busy road, so the first part is the audio unedited and the second part is edited so you can hear the eagle better.
Thank you L Jay for taking the episode photo.

as a friend and I were out on the back porch observing the Anna's hummingbirds, I got to experience my first physical encounter with a hummingbird as a blind animal observer. My friend is practicing her photography and I happened to have my recorder on me and caught this moment on audio.
You'll hear the camera snapping pictures while the hummingbirds defend their spots around the feeders. The last minute or so of the audio clip female bird is hanging out on my finger.
I had to do a lot of editing as we were having a conversation while all this was going on so my apologies if you audio experts can tell where the cuts are!

Kingston beach is a small town beach covered in sea debris. Every hour or so you can catch a ferry at the dock. The ferry is currently docked and idling all through out this recording.
The waves are all unique as they hit the logs, rocks and floating trees along the high tide line. Enjoy the full bodied waves and the thunder claps of collapsing waves as they reshape the beach.

Starting 2020 at the beach! This was recorded in the first week of January along different segments of Fowl Weather. The weather was rather warm and it was a day with very little rain.
To reach Fowl Weather Bluff you walk through about a half mile of woods and come out on a rocky and sandy beach. You'll find great blue herrings, eagles, ravens and of course gulls. The motor you hear in the recording is a small boat following the coast line.

This is a nice piece of audio captured around Kingston Washington and is fairly self explanatory.

Recorded around six thirty in the morning in the month of May. This is a fairly populated area and there is background traffic.

A quiet afternoon with a storm moving in! The thunder is almost continuous and makes for a nice relaxing nap.

These two ravens were hanging out in the yard and started making some really cool vocalizations. One of my favorite parts is the raven flying in front of me about ten feet. The wings can be heard!
