The first track ‘I’d do it all again was inspired by Hugh and The Zombies, as they were going out to the USA to perform again 50 years later .
The second track ‘Rockstar’ was a tribute to all the great artists we lost in 2017. -
Simon Discusses life on the Island of Menorca Spain, in the Balearic Islands, where they both live as residents, how they ended up on this amazing island, and a chance meeting at a music Jam night started the Band The Geckos.
We talk about the music scene in Menorca, and our friends and family, and The Band.

Simon and hugh discuss the years when Hugh became a Publican and ran three different pubs in the south of England where Live Music was of most importance, and lots of celebs would come and play. We also discuss the 40th anniversary gig at the shepherds bush empire where Odessey and Oracle was played in it’s entirety for the first time live. And what would then encourage the original band to tour again. Also discuss some news on the documentary coming soon.
