PART 7 of a 10-part compilation of the best bits from The Ricky Gervais Show on Xfm. At long last, a comprehensive BEST OF compilation covering the formative years of Ricky "The Pasty" Gervais, Stephen "Hello Ladies" Merchant and, of course, Karl "Completely Spherical Head" Pilkington of Manchester. These are the greatest moments from our shambolic trio's run on Xfm, where Ricky, Steve & Karl discussed the most ridiculous things imaginable. It was a special time, over 2 decades ago, when these three comedy geniuses came up with the most laugh-out-loud drivel ever broadcast on radio. ENJOY!

Karl Pilkington nearly died many times as a child. It truly is a miracle that he survived into adulthood. Karl was always prone to choking, but also could've died in a number of other embarrassing ways. Not only that... He also nearly died live on-air attempting to break the world records for hamburger stuffing and grape eating! Suffice to say, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are amazed and grateful that their little buffoonish friend, Karl Pilkington, is still alive today. ENJOY!

PART 7, and final installment, of a Compilation of all the guests, callers and emailers from The Ricky Gervais Show on Xfm. This compilation includes such luminaries as Jonathan Ross, Chris Martin from Coldplay, Dr. Neil Fox, as well as a random assortment of listeners participating in inane competitions, responding to pointless questions from the hosts, commenting on Karl's antics, or popping in for no apparent reason.
Ricky Gervais is keen to hear from their dedicated listeners, Stephen Merchant would rather they not allow the unwashed masses onto the show, and Karl Pilkington just wants his little features to educate his audience.

POST #2 - Included are 4 more authentic photos of the Digital Audio Tapes (DATs) for The Ricky Gervais Show, which aired on London alternative radio station Xfm from 2001 to 2005.The are tapes for Series 4 Episodes 1 & 2, and Series 3 Episodes 10 & 12. However, the audio does not come from the DATs, as I don't have any of them (yet). Audio clips are included to provide context to listeners regarding the episodes that are apparently contained on these tapes. I've interpreted the tape with "2/01/2004" as Series 3 Episode 10, which would've been recorded on Saturday, 3 January 2004. Either they pre-recorded that week's episode on Friday January 2nd, or the date on the tape is wrong. This date, "2/01/2004" doesn't seem to correspond to any other episode. I'd appreciate any insight you all may have on this question. SEND COMMENTS!I'm working to obtain one or more of the DATs, if permitted (no guarantees). Please be patient as I continue to try and uncover further information on the DIGITAL AUDIO TAPES for the beloved XFM radio show featuring Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, and Karl Pilkington. Y'alright?! This is an utterly pointless and shoddily put together video which inserts two of Karl Pilkington's KARL IN A FILM segments from The Ricky Gervais Show on Xfm, back into the films whence they came: The Silence of the Lambs (1991) starring Anthony Hopkins & Jodie Foster, and Kes (1969) starring David Bradley & Freddie Fletcher. We also have Ricky Gervais' and Stephen Merchant's commentary on Karl's performances in these memorable movie scenes. ENJOY!
