In the past year or so, I have unintentionally ditched social media due to my busy schedule. You might think that not being on social media caused my downloads on my podcast to dwindle, but spoiler alert: it didn’t!
In fact, I’ve seen a steady increase in new listeners. Ditching social media doesn’t mean I ditched my marketing efforts all together. It just means that I picked a different way to get my show in front of new people because let’s face it, the social media algorithm is not doing any of us any favors.
If you want to continue to grow your show without relying solely on social media, that involves truly diversifying your promotional efforts and utilizing various different channels so let’s dive into the different options you can pursue for growth without social media.

In case you missed it, I took about 4 months off from publishing new episodes on this podcast. I had been running this show and putting out new episodes almost every single week without stopping aside from the occasional holiday break since 2018 and honestly, I was starting to feel a bit burnt out.
I knew if I didn’t take some things off my plate, I was going to start dropping the ball in other areas of my business which I definitely didn’t want to happen especially as I was going into maternity leave and had a bunch of things I needed to get done before taking off for 2 months.
Now that I have had 4 months off, I am ready to get back to publishing new episodes of the show again and continue to bring you my knowledge.
In this episode I share:
What I did during my time off The new schedule for Savvy Podcasting for Entrepreneurs and more! -
If you read the title of this episode, you may already know what I’m about to say but if you didn’t look at the title and just clicked over because you noticed there was a new episode, I’ll say it now…I am taking an indefinite hiatus from posting new episodes on the show.
Tune in and find out what's in store for Savvy Podcasting for Entrepreneurs.

When it comes to measuring the success and impact of a podcast, there are several metrics to consider other than podcast downloads. While downloads provide some insight into your audience reach, they don't always reflect the full picture so I wanted to share some alternative metrics to focus on.
