This week I'm talking with artist and illustrator David Cowles. after 40 years in the industry David has worked with many great clients including The Village Voice, Entertainment weekly, Sesame Street and They Might Be Giants. It was great to talk to him about how he got into illustration, how he created his signature style and how the industry has changed over the years.

This week I'm in Delaware catching up with artist Sean Lugo. After a day of running around Philadelphia putting up wheat pastes and looking for spots we are back at Sean's place comparing notes. We're discussing the differences between our work and where we like to get up in the street. We're also discussing his ongoing "Clone" series, where he paints life size portraits of influential people from Philadelphia and pastes them around the city.

This week I'm talking with artist John Perry. I met John about 20 years ago when we were both doing posters for bands. It was great to reminisce about the scene we use to be apart of. we also discussed how he got started doing graffiti and art and his ongoing series Lower Deck cards where he paints characters on old baseball cards.

This week I’m talking with London based Argentinian artist Mowcka. Mowcka Is one of the hardest working artists in the street art scene. For years she has been traveling putting on shows, painting murals and putting up her hand painted wheat pastes all over. It was great to catch up with her on this most recent trip to NYC and talk to her about her new work.
