The injectable form of PrEP complements other recent pushes to put HIV prevention efforts front and center. This is a positive development and hints at an era of even more accessible and sophisticated efforts to better prevent HIV, especially among communities that are most at risk.

"The LGBTIQ+ community in Kenya face violence and inequality—and sometimes torture, even execution—because of who they love, how they look, or who they are. Sexual orientation and gender identity are integral aspects of our selves and should never lead to discrimination or abuse." -- Kelly Kigera

LGBTIQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer) individuals face a particular set of challenges, both in becoming homeless as well as when they are trying to avoid homelessness. LGBT persons face social stigma, discrimination, and often rejection by their families, which adds to the physical and mental strains/challenges that all homelessness persons must struggle with.

SHEILA! ERICA! JOASH! Just to mention their names. Kenya has become a hunger games for the LGBTIQ community.
Members of the country's LGBTQ community routinely face discrimination and stigma, and efforts to decriminalise gay sex have been thwarted. The Constitution of Kenya, 2010, has a lot to say about your rights! According to Article 19 (3) (a), the constitution states that your rights belong to you because you are a human being and are not granted by the state.
