  • Courageous Confidence: 3 attributes of God so we can Step into Throne Room with Boldness

    Hey friends,

Today's episode is quick, punchy, and one straight from the heart. We talk about what it means to come to the Father for prayer, the theme of identity and the barriers that prevent women from fully coming to God. It emphasizes the importance of confidently approaching God and highlights three characteristics of God that give us the assurance to do so: He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and He is love.

I hope this conversation encourages you to come to God with boldness and surrender your hearts (and all the things going on inside of your heart) to Him.

    Takeaways:

Our identity is found in God and the relationship we have with Him.There may be barriers that prevent us from fully coming to God, but He encourages us to confidently approach Him.God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and love, which gives us the assurance to come to Him.Coming to God with boldness and surrendering our hearts to Him allows Him to do a good work in us.

  • From Prophecy to Promise: Unpacking Jesus' Fulfillment in Scripture

    Hey friend!

It's almost one of my favorite weeks of the year, Holy Week. It's the week where every single day we celebrate something significant happening that leads up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

In today's episode, we are digging into some scriptures from the Old Testament and some from the New testament that show us Jesus fulfilling prophecies perfectly. Why does any of this matter?

    - Jesus fulfilling prophecies validates His identity as the promised Messiah. It confirms His divine nature and establishes His authority as the Son of God.

    - The fulfillment of prophecies provides a bridge between the Old and New Testaments, showing the continuity of God's plan throughout history.

    - Seeing prophecies fulfilled in Jesus reassures believers of God's faithfulness to His promises. It demonstrates that God can be trusted to fulfill His word, bringing comfort and confidence to those who follow Him.

    - Understanding these prophecies helps individuals grasp the depth of God's plan for redemption and salvation through Jesus Christ.

If He did it before, He will do it again. His promises are true and He keeps His Word

  • Hey friends!

Do you know that you have a story to tell? That you can use the good, bad, and ugly things in life for His glory and for a bigger purpose?

Whether it is social media or a chat with a next door neighbor, authentic/real conversations are a powerful way to connect with each other, bring each other hope, and help to point women to Jesus.

This is a core value for us here at The Abundant Woman Collective and I am so excited for today’s conversation with Sabrina Hammond.

Sabrina Hammonds is passionate about the stories, testimonies, and transformations of others. It’s no wonder why God called her into the business of helping women share their message. Our stories and transformations were never meant just for ourselves. They are gifts and treasures to be given away to those that need them.

Kingdom Connections Podcast & Media Agency was founded on a key principle that the Lord gave Sabrina: Quality vs Quantity. It is all about creating strategic connections between clients and podcast hosts so Kingdom collaboration can happen. It’s more than just interviews and numbers, it’s about bringing people together as one body and leveraging each other’s gifts for God’s glory. As a result, women are coming together like never before and elevating each other, supporting one another, and utilizing each other’s strengths to serve others.

In today’s episode, we discuss the transformative power of personal stories and testimonies. I recount my own unexpected entry into podcasting and the impact stories can have on both the speakers and listeners. They emphasize the importance of overcoming self-doubt and sharing stories, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Sabrina then delves into the work she does to connect Christian women, particularly coaches, authors, and speakers, with podcast opportunities. She emphasizes the significance of understanding each individual's message and story holistically, not just focusing on their professional endeavors. Sabrina also shares how God has moved in her business and she is now sharing her own story.

Inside this episode, we also discuss practical ways to encourage others through social media or real-life interactions, emphasizing the need for vulnerability and authenticity. You won’t just hear our stories, but we are charging you to start sharing yours as well. Start sharing bits and pieces of your story in conversations or with friends.

Our stories and testimonies are not just for ourselves; they are meant to be shared to inspire and encourage others. Sabrina encourages women to seek help, connect with supportive communities, and embrace their unique gifts and stories as valuable contributions to the Kingdom.

I can’t wait to hear what you think about this episode. Be sure to share this online and tag us! And share your thoughts inside of the Facebook group!

  • Hey friends!

    Jesus loves you.

We hear the verse, sing the song, see it in a football stadium and yet, sometimes still there's a disconnect. There's a disconnect between knowing this truth in our heads and truly believing it in our hearts.

Tune in to the episode as I share a season of my life where I wrestled with Jesus loving me without me having to earn it, we talk about 3 common reasons we sometimes don't truly believe this, and then we talk about our girl- the woman at the well.

Jesus radically shows up and pursues this woman! In this story, we talk about four things we get to recognize in this story and how it can even apply to us here today. The episode concludes with the Samaritan woman's transformation – running back to her community, leaving her water jar behind, and boldly sharing her testimony.

Sister friend, you are indeed loved. And He is pursing you still today. If you are needing help to remember these truths, want a cheerleader to encourage you, and a group of like minded women running after Jesus together- join our free Facebook community!

  • Hey friends,

Meet Jen Rogers. Wife, mom, stepmom, Professional Life Coach, Pickleball lover, Habit Stacking Guru, and Chief Encourager. When she first remarried, she was shocked at how quickly her excitement for her starry-eyed love affair got sucked into a very dark black hole of chaos. Confusion reigned. On the brink of a failing marriage, she knew she had to choose: Jen's way or God's way. Now, Jen's on a mission to coach Stepmoms to choose God's way for their own stepfamilies so they can co-parent confidently, prevent Stepmom Burnout, and end generational re-divorce.

In this episode, Jen and Samantha dive deep into the challenges of overwhelm and how it can affect our identity and daily lives. Jen shares her personal experience of feeling like an alien in her own home, and Samantha relates her current overwhelm to issues of identity. Together, they explore the concept of Abide as an action word and discuss how understanding one's identity in God can be a powerful tool in overcoming overwhelm.

  • What is a Wiccan? What is Wicca? What do they believe? And why is it on the rise today?

These are just a few of the questions that our guest today, Amy Davison, answers for us. Throughout the episode, Amy shares her own story of Wicca and how she was led down a different path before she met the Lord.

Amy is an Air Force vet turned apologist with Mama Bear Apologetics. She received her MA in Apologetics from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and speaks on cultural challenges to the faith, biblical sexuality, and how to raise children to be warriors in the faith. She and her husband Mike are currently raising 3 teen boys with a little girl on the way in a little house in Texas.

This a must listen, cultural episode that I think we should all be aware of what is going on today. Let me know your thoughts on this episode, I can’t wait for you to hear it.

    Until next time,
