In this episode, Iâm sharing the mindset shifts and life lessons that came through during my solo trip to Belize. We cover truths about self-worth, setting boundaries, and why so many of us still feel like we have to earn our right to take up space. If youâve been overthinking your next move, shrinking yourself to make others comfortable, or feeling stuck in routines that no longer fit, donât miss this episode.
Takeaways:
Hard conversations lead to powerful outcomes. Whether itâs setting boundaries with a boss or asking for a sale, learning to speak up with clarity and courage is essential for achieving the results you truly want.
Anxiety is often a signal, not a stop sign. When you pause to ask yourself, âWhatâs really going on here?â you gain clarity. Naming your fear often points you toward your next best step.
Your journey is yours to take, itâs not about who else understands it. Pursuing your purpose, even when it doesnât make sense to others, will always be more fulfilling than living someone elseâs version of success.
You donât have to earn the right to take up space. You are inherently worthy. Your energy and presence are valuable just as they are. They are gifts to those you share them with.
If it feels ânot worth it,â ask yourself: is the thing not worth it, or do you feel like youâre not worth it? Your desire alone makes something worth exploring. Youâre worthy of trying new things simply because they light you up.

Amickoleh and I talk money mindset, mental clutter, and giving yourself a little grace. In this episode, we discuss how working through your blocks, both emotional and financial, can help you build a business that actually feels good. If youâre growing something from the ground up, this oneâs a gentle reminder that youâre doing better than you think.
Takeaways:
Working through your money blocks is powerful because money helps you make the impact you want to make in the world. Money allows you to give generously in support of causes you care about as well as hire the support you need to allow you to spend more time in your zone of genius.
Clearing out the mental and emotional clutter gives you invaluable real estate in your own heart and mind to use for focusing on and creating what it is that you want to create.
Be patient with yourself - give yourself grace. This is the first time youâve been here, doing this. Youâre creating a business out of thin air. Donât be too hard on yourself. đ€

Tune into this conversation with my friend Amickoleh as we dig into how thereâs not one, ârightâ cookie cutter way to build your business. Instead, itâs so important to figure out what works for you, be willing to accept help, and make sure youâre filling your own cup (especially if you're an ADHD entrepreneur owner like me!).
Whether youâre tired of the hustle or simply craving a more authentic, intuitive way to run your business, this conversation will remind you that you get to do it differently, and thatâs your greatest strength.
Takeaways:
Two of the biggest lessons Iâve learned as an ADHD entrepreneur: 1. Thereâs no âright wayâ to do entrepreneurship. You have to figure out what works for you. 2. Thereâs nothing wrong with you.
There is a difference between having time and having capacity - especially when weâre holding space and pouring our energy into others. Itâs important to accept help and pour into ourselves so that we have the energy and capacity to show up for our clients.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to, or should. Feeling obligated to do things just because youâre good at them is how we get stuck in our zone of excellence instead of our zone of genius. Give yourself permission to pivot and pursue those things that truly light you up and that only you can do - your zone of genius.
This episode is your permission slip to trust your pace, your process, and your path. Tune in for a refreshing perspective on success, support, and sustainable growth.

Takeaways:
Youâre not ready until youâre ready. Itâs easy to look back and beat yourself for not taking a huge leap earlier, but sometimes youâre not ready until youâre ready. Starting small allows you to become the person who is ready to take the next, bigger step while youâre taking those small steps.
âSo many of us are afraid of being wrong that we donât try anythingâ. But youâre allowed to mess up. Youâre allowed to make mistakes. Itâs part of being human.
Listening to your intuition is just like learning anything else. You have to practice it. Sometimes, you have to learn what your own voice sounds like.

Key Takeaways:
Small Steps Lead to Big Goals: Achieving big goals doesnât happen overnight, and itâs all about taking small, manageable steps. Break down your big ambitions into tiny, actionable tasks, and celebrate each small win along the way. Progress, no matter how small, is progress, and itâs what ultimately gets you closer to your goals.
Reflect on Your Goals and Intentions: Regularly check in with yourself. Are your goals still aligned with your vision? Take time to reflect and adjust as needed, whether itâs shifting your short-term actions or refining your long-term plan. This reflection keeps you focused and helps you make sure youâre heading in the right direction.
Embrace a Growth Mindset and Experimentation: Life and business arenât always linear. Mistakes and changes in direction arenât failuresâtheyâre just opportunities to learn and grow. By staying open to experimentation, youâll discover new paths and better ways to reach your goals.
Focus on Progress, Not Perfection: Forget waiting for the perfect plan or outcomeâ progress, even if itâs messy, is what really matters. The key is to keep moving forwardâeven if things arenât perfect. Itâs those small, consistent efforts that bring you closer to your dreams, so donât be afraid to take imperfect action.
Take Action to Achieve Your Desired Outcomes: Instead of getting bogged down by the small details like your website design or business cards, focus on the actions that will move you forward. Have meaningful conversations, connect with others, and serve your community. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but itâs those actions that will lead to real results.

Takeaways:
You donât have to have everything figured out before you start. Take some action. Be willing to try something, and follow the breadcrumbs from there.
âYou absolutely can do this. You just have to decide, and give yourself permission to do it, and to try.â
âIt doesnât matter where you are in your journey. It matters that you are believing in yourself and that you are taking the action towards that belief.â
Do not be the first one to tell yourself ânoâ. You will never know until you try. Just because youâre challenging the norm, that doesnât mean youâre gonna fail.

Takeaways:
Self discovery and shadow work are so important to holding onto the belief that you can succeed at what youâre working towards.
Weâre afraid of success because we donât know what it feels like yet - itâs basically our survival brain telling us that success is dangerous because itâs unfamiliar.
Manage your energy by setting your intentions for the day. Journal on 3 things youâre most grateful for, 3 wins from yesterday, and 3 target wins for today.
You canât do everything all at once and you canât do it alone.
Keep your wins visual and easy to access. Those times when you most need to be reminded of your wins, you usually donât have the energy to go search for your wins.

Takeaways:
If your year was the result of you repeating today 364 times, would you meet the goals you set for yourself this year? Every day is a building block in the lego castle of your life.
Sometimes we romanticize the end result, the goal, but we donât want to actually take the journey, or do the work that reaching that goal would require.
Your âwhyâ is powerful because it determines how you work towards your goals.
Accomplishing your goal is a byproduct of your habits and routines.

Plan Your Year Workshop: https://thefierceframework.myflodesk.com/workshop
I am probably the last person to push resolutions, so weâre gonna discuss resolutions from a pretty neutral position. I donât think theyâre necessarily necessary (I think youâre doing great!). Also, thereâs nothing magical about the beginning of the year. You can set goals and redirect at any point during the year. Hopefully, that takes some pressure off. Now, letâs dive in!
Takeaways:
Introspection and reflection are powerful tools to help determine how you feel about where youâre headed in life and if a course correction is in order.
Avoidance is a common cause of doing things we donât necessarily want to be doing. Pinpointing what youâre avoiding can help uncover the root cause of a symptom.
Addressing the underlying reason you have a habit youâre wanting to change can be a powerful tool to help change it.
Being honest with yourself is crucial when it comes to determining what changes to make, what is sustainable for you, and what goals are attainable.
Youâre human. That means youâre not perfect. Having a plan for when (not âifâ) you mess up can be really helpful for getting back on track after a slip-up.
You might not know what resources or support you need to actually achieve your goals until you start actually going for it. Thatâs okay. Sometimes you just have to start in order to figure out what else you need along the way.
The only failure is when you give up on yourself. Making a mistake isnât failure. It doesnât make you a failure. Slipping up isnât failure. As long as you havenât given up, youâre still making progress. I hope youâre so proud of yourself. I am.

Plan Your Year Workshop: https://thefierceframework.myflodesk.com/workshop
Takeaways:
Take time to rest because we could all use a break this time of year, and sometimes it takes slowing down to gain perspective and reflect so you can realign for the next season.
Reflecting can help us gain insight and clarity for where weâre headed next.
Your yearly reflection can look however you want. Journaling works for a lot of people, but you can also have a conversation with your partner, bestie, or mom. Maybe reviewing your Spotify wrapped, photo album, or instagram stories is more your speed.
Ask yourself: What did I learn? What made me feel alive? What brought me joy and purpose?
Be intentional about what you want to take with you into 2025 and what you want to leave behind. Itâs easy to get into a routine and just stay there without really considering if itâs still working for you.
Before setting any more goals, Celebrate your wins! (Too often we gloss over our wins and move onto the next without acknowledging all we've accomplished)

Takeaways:
Boundaries are especially important during the holiday season, and theyâre not just for bad things. Itâs okay to have boundaries for âtoo much of a good thingâ.
Rest is important during this time of year. I know itâs easy to let self-care slip when things get busy, but itâs even more important to take care of yourself when you have a ton going on!
Iâm a huge advocate for doing less, but itâs also important to remember to make room for what you want to do. Identify a couple of things that bring you joy and prioritize them this season.

There are a couple of questions that have been so powerful in helping me make my business more sustainable: 1) How can it be fun? 2) How can I make it easy?Takeaways: - How can I make sure the things that donât have to be hard arenât harder than they need to be? - You only fail when you quit trying, so what can you do to make it easier to not give up? - When you donât realize that youâre allowed to do something differently than how you thought it was supposed to be, then you donât always realize you have the choice to do something differently, but you do.
