Many of y'all have pointed out that it has been a minute since I uploaded the last episode. True that, lol. But this almost always means more quality episodes are on their way as I continue to self improve and meet new and wonderful people along the way. One such person is Adam who I met at my Jiu Jitsu gym not so long ago. Apart from submitting people on the mat, he's a passionate lover of philosophy and learning. One of the fastest learners I know, he lives life through observation of the truth and by applying it in every way possible. He's very knowledgeable about a wide array of issues and adds on to the list of bright minds that I've had on the show. The episode gets real juicy by the 2nd hour, so skip onto there if you wanna get straight onto the main course. But other than that, enjoy!

Nikhil & Hiram are high school friends of mine that I lost touch with after high school. However, we rekindled that friendship back up recently and I am so happy that we did. Hiram and Nikhil combined together in a conversation equals unexpected hilarious moments and some really fun and unique topics. Hiram is into gardening and has been in the food industry for a long time. He dives into the gardening nitty gritties and the pros and cons of the food business in this episode. Apart from the incredible knowledge this man possesses about his passions, he is a also a funny and quick witted dude. His unexpected jokes and reactions gives this episode its unique vibe. Nikhil is a sexy stud with an awesome personality in his own right. He is a UBC undergraduate who is also a gaming geek. He is a twitch streamer and takes us into the world of gaming and sponsorships. Check him out on twitch at fpsnikky and make sure to give him some love!!

This is part 2 of Mr. Jose. Enjoy!!

This recent guest of mine is extremely hard working Just after graduating high school, Jose picked up three jobs to make ends meet. Apart from that, he also works out regularly and tries to keep his social life alive. With so many things on his plate, one would assume that he is very stressed. However, having a conversation with this man would erase those assumptions easily. He is as calm, cool and collected as men get. This was a chill episode where we address bodybuilding, martial arts and careers. It had to end prematurely however. I still had questions in my mind that I needed to ask, therefore, I had him on once again a few weeks later. In part 2, we talk about his dad's insane life stories, hiking/camping and much more topics. Enjoy these two short but sweet episodes with Mr. Restrepo!!

How do I even begin describing this one? Well, for starters it has a lot of ADHD type energy in it from both of us insane individuals. A lot of profanity, passion, anger, debates and of course laughter. Fadi is a soon to become pilot who spends his days working hard and chasing dreams. A man of robust energy and passion, this man is sure to get your heart racing..... in a good way. I call this episode the antidote to drowsiness. Check it out to see what I mean!!

What a way to restart the podcast journey! This is the funniest episode in a while and one of the funniest ever. If you wanna hear about workplace gossip, freak athleticism, basketball dreams or me overly complimenting a guest to the point where it becomes a little gay, you've come to the right episode. Emmanuel has become a great friend whom I met at work (just like many of my other friends). He is a freak athlete with a great smile and a wonderful sense of humor.... just to mention a few of his attributes. If you are depressed, this episode is sure to cheer you up, and if it doesn't, then well......start meditating. Enjoy this gem in the Genuine Convos arsenal!!

Here is another one...... a year later. I'm a bit rusty and have lost touch with the podcasting skills. Nevertheless, I'm back! So glad to have Abhay Parmar on the podcast this time. He is a friend that I met at a drama class and resonated with instantly. A perfectly imperfect conversation, I hope you enjoy it!

Did you know that lemurs travelled across the world via the ocean way before humans existed? What about the speculations that humans were travelling all across the world way before Columbus? These and many more insanely fascinating topics get discussed with my most recent guest Angelina. She is an anthropology undergraduate who like me, is absolutely mesmerized by human history and our forgotten story. This is one of the most informative episode to date, and I was on the edge of the couch every single minute attentively listening to her talk about anthropological stuff! It's truly moments like these that makes life worthwhile. Its good shit!! Give it a listen and you'll know what I'm talking about 😊

Out of the many ladies I know, Eva is one of the very few who has a rare feminine aura around her that is very welcoming and that I happen to appreciate a lot! A student of life, Eva is a kind and jolly person who can also school you about the dynamics of human nature. She studies psychology at university and is passionate about human nature, science, spirituality and ouija boards just to name a few. This episode is packed with interesting, deep and fun topics that I am glad I recorded to look back on and to share with the world. I am glad to be able to learn from and share moments with wonderful people like her and I hope y'all do as well 😄

This one really hit it home for me. Throughout this episode I realized the potential meaning of our existence. Perhaps we are all here to write our own stories and to fully appreciate and embrace the experience no matter if it's good or bad. After all, this is all just a big playground full of great actors, comedians, writers etc. If you had met Adbul a couple years back, he would have come across to you as a jolly and uplifting person, but as it happens, everyone has to go through the belly of the beast sooner or later. He is going through his hero's journey right now! A podcast at a pivotal point in his life, this episode gets into his mental health problems such as ADHD and bipolar disorder and how he copes with them. This is a very informative and reflective episode that made me appreciate mental health just that much more. We as a species are capable of being happy, healthy and strong at all times and I hope this episode helps you out on your mental health journey or just makes you realize the importance of it. ❤

A human being full of constant energy and positive vibes, Waseem Safi is a friend I met at the workplace despite the fact that we went to school together. But, as the saying goes, the right people appear at the right time. Damn true that! A conversation full of controversial topics and funny moments, the episode is well crafted and is a no hold bars genuine conversation. We get into debates about the COVID vaccine, shed some light on racism in the world and as Waseem likes to say, "talked a lot of shit". This episode is long overdue and I am very happy it finally took place. This man is a dynamite radiating in love and waiting to blast you with happiness. Enjoy!

I never thought I would have one of my coworkers on the podcast, but again, I am the guy who thinks reality is an illusion. Although I haven't known Jeyla for very long, small talks with her made it clear that she is very different from others. A person on the path to enlightenment and a great soul is the most fitting description I can think of to describe her. This episode is marked by some of the deepest talks I have had in my life. This is among the very few episodes that made me realize how much of a dumbass I am. She dissects various concepts easily and applies truths to everyday situations like nobody I have ever met. I am grateful for this opportunity and I hope the world enjoys this convo as much as I did.

A reunion of sorts, this podcast is me and one of the most real friend I had in my life, Mohamed Elsayyad, catching up and talking about some important issues dear to both of us. Mohamed is a brother from another mother who moved away to another province a couple years back, but we still talk and maintain that strong friendship through deep talks whenever we can. Some good laughs, deep talks and a nice sunset were the defining moments of this podcast. We go into talks about financial investments, finding your purpose in life, the side effects of the COVID vaccine and much more! If you're looking for something chill to listen to while relaxing, this might be the episode for you. Enjoy!!

This episode has a different vibe. The guitar playing in the background with the wind coming in on a hot day is what you can imagine for the environment of this episode. Mark Zhuang is a friend of mine who knows how to play almost about any instrument you can think of. He is an extremely talented and hardworking musician apart from being a wonderful human being. So, naturally as one would, I asked him to play my Fender CC-60S acoustic guitar throughout the episode to add some beautiful flavour to it. It turned out great! Kenneth Lai is a reserved person, for which I was hesitant to have him over on the podcast for a while. But university changed the man to become more confident and more outgoing than usual. Anish Singla has been on the podcast last summer, but the combination of guests this time speaks for itself. We all had a chemistry going on. Some deep and unusual topics were covered in this episode that I usually don't talk about. The episode had some funny moments about getting caught while masturbating, VR porn and roasting Kenneth! It was a good night! P.S. The audio may sound a little distorted in some very small segments throughout the episode due to us sharing the two microphones.

You might be wondering what is up with the name, well my guest on this episode wanted me to put this name which mean a Slavic healer rather than his real name. If you ask me, I think it makes the episode a little more mysterious 🧐 The episode is among the funniest I have ever done. You will hear me or my guest randomly laugh our asses off throughout the epsiode. The episode covers some deep topics along with some not so deep ones. The podcast episode would have been ten times better with a video, which will be incorporated in the future episodes, hint hint. I have had billions of sessions of deep talks about everything with this friend of mine, he has helped me become a better person and has been a great friend. I am excited to finally do a podcast with him and give the world an opportunity to hear this great and funny man. During the episode, we often talk about a cat my guest has and he distracts me with some funny gestures, so if you're wondering why I'm randomly laughing, its because of that. So without further ado, enjoy this gem and have a good time!

The first female guest of the podcast! Simran Sadhwani brings some much needed feminine energy to the show along with some wise words. Some significant questions that I have always wanted to ask the opposite gender has finally been asked. The convo has given me new insights into the female psychology, the importance of spirituality and the consequences of innovation. A radical thinker and traditional woman, Simran is a university student studying to become a doctor. She is everything that a good soul can mean and a good person can represent.
Also, this is the first episode with a video version available on YouTube.

Hard work and perseverance changes a boy into a man. Mohsin Ashfaq can tell you all about that. He is a Calgary based local artist who is clawing his way up the industry slowly but surely. Life was never easy for this fella, he moved to Canada as an early teen and did everything from distributing flyers to tough sales jobs just to support his family. When he decided to become a rapper, support was a luxury he didn't have. Nevertheless he keeps on going to this day trying to make a name out of himself by entertaining people with his music. Apart from that, he is also an avid martial arts practitioner and enthusiast. Boxing changed his life and made him who he is today. A fantastic night full of good talk about music production, martial arts and philosophy, I wouldn't want to have it any other way!

A very experienced and mature person, Hassan moved from Mauritius to Canada three years back in hopes of a better life. But the reality of his situation is far from that as of yet. He lost his father two years back from cancer but never really had his love in the first place. How hard is a boy's life without a father figure guiding him through the ups and downs of life? He answers all of these heartbreaking questions and shares many wild and insane stories from his past life. The episode also has a segment dedicated to him busting many prejudices against Islam and why people make it out to be a evil religion. He is also one of the few friends I have who has experimented with psychedelics and has benefitted tremendously from it. Tune in to hear one of his hair raising trips which made me shiver!

Arseniy might seem like a typical man from the outside, but when the words start flowing out of his mouth, one can easily tell him apart from an average man. He is uniquely intelligent and always speaks his mind! Arseniy is a man who takes his time to reflect on the issue/ question at hand and he is the most calm guest out of all of the guests I have had on so far. I mean he is so calm that it's contagious!! We have some seriously fascinating conversations about god, the importance of sunlight and the necessity of fear in one's life. And for those of you who wanted a different, more meaningful episode, this is the one. My guest doesn't just disagree with me on some topics, he actually corrects me and inputs his views on some critical ideas. Go and give it a listen..... trust me..... you won't regret it!!

We finally got ourselves a Jamaican on the podcast! Jeovahni Duncan, a very close friend from high school reunites with me after a while and shares his life concerns and perspectives. "I kinda feel stuck" he says, but don't we all? If you can relate with him, I bet you can get a lot out of this episode if you choose to listen. We have a deep dive into what life's purpose might truly be and how one can feel happy without attaining "success". I put on my Jesus hat and try to bring out the spiritual side of me, preaching the message of spontaneity instead of constant planning. A true friend is someone who can be apart for years and years, yet remember you and still genuinely care for you after all this time. If there is any truth in that, then Jeo is exactly that, a genuine friend!
