You probably know Bill from the photography he shoots at the Pottstown Rumble, where he’s taken thousands of photographs over the last 10 years. Bill is also an accomplished grass volleyball player. He's been playing volleyball for 25+ years and is a Pottstown Men's Open Quarterfinalist.
Bill has extensive background in marketing, owning a marketing consulting firm for the last 20 years and he also has the IQ/mindset of an open level grass player. He combines those 2 aspects of himself to put out some awesome photography. In the podcast, Bill talks about what's going thru his head throughout a normal Rumble weekend and all the different mindsets he has to be in to get all of the necessary shots. Bill even shares some pro-tips on taking good photos. Enjoy!

Steel City Volleyball League is one of Pittsburgh's longest running adult volleyball leagues and is also an LGBTQIA+ nonprofit social organization that has had a deep impact on both the LGBTQIA+ community as well as the volleyball community in Pittsburgh.

Ned Bacheson, Founder of Pittsburgh Grass Volleyball (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host of The Grass Volleyball Podcast talks with TJ Pauletich, one of the earliest adopters of grass doubles in Pittsburgh. TJ's impact on grass volleyball in Pittsburgh can't be understated and can be credited as one of the first people to help popularize grass doubles in the area.
TJ has played in something like 150 grass tournaments over his 14 year grass career (300 if you count a 2-day tournament as 2 separate tournaments). TJ talks about some of his proudest grass VB moments, some of the best players he's ever played against, including a recollection about playing against Roberta (Holehouse) McGuiney, his favorite grass tournaments, how he got into the grass game + why he loves it so much and now that he lives in South Carolina, how the grass game differs in South Carolina vs Pittsburgh.

Ken talks COVID-19 and the decision made by the Pottstown Rumble to not host the event in 2020, what it was like meeting Donald Sun (the President of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour), the year Phil Dalhausser attended the Rumble, Ken attending AVP Manhattan in 2019 + being interviewed by Dain Blanton, and how the stress and partying in the early days of the Rumble almost brought him to stop hosting the event.
