We take a look at the man who had a hand in creating the legend of the Chelsea Hotel, historical manager Stanley Bard who worked at the hotel from 1957 until he was ousted in 2007. As well as a shrewd manager, businessman and lover of a good argument, he was the "patron" who brought many of the names to the Chelsea that made it so famous.
