This film was written and directed by George Miller, is a prequel to the 2015 film, “Mad Max: Fury Road” and is the 5th film in the “Mad Max” franchise. The stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular character and Chris Hemsworth. Some characters return from their “Fury Road” roles such as “Immortan Joe” & “The Warboys”. In this film, 15 years prior to the events of “Fury Road”, a young Furiousa is out for revenge witnessing her mother’s capture and death by a warlord in the post apocalyptic world that calls himself, Dementus. George Miller originally wanted this film to come out the same as “Fury Road” but due to the development hell that the film went through, “Furiousa” was put on hold and left original actress, Charlize Theron out of the part. Rather than use de-age CGI on Theron, Miller decided to to cast a younger actress, thus giving Anya Taylor-Joy the job.

This series is based on the novel series, “Remembrance of Earth’s Past” by Liu Cixin and also the 2023 Chinese series of the same name. The series is 8 episodes long and tells the story of a female Chinese scientist is in race with other countries during the Cold War to make contact with extraterrestrial beings. This episode marks the end of our 12th season and 600th episode overall. We thank you for all the support and will continue to bring more episodes in the future.

The film stars Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage & Viola Davis and is directed by Francis Lawrence. In this film, a high profile young man who is slowly losing his family’s fame and reputation, is paired with a woman from a lower district to participate in the 10th annual, Hunger Games. Things an unexpected turn when the young man begins to fall for her. The film didn’t make the same amount as the others at the box office, it added to the overall grossing which put the entire film franchise as the 20th highest grossing film franchise of all time.

In this film, a AI analysis joins a military operation to track and capture a rogue android that seeks to destroy humanity. This is the second Netflix film to star Jennifer Lopez following 2023’s “The Mother”.

This animated series is a revival of the 90s animated series of the same name and serves as a sequel to that series taking place following those events. The show’s original creator, Jake Castorena, served as supervising director and a majority of the original voice cast have returned as well. The first season features 10 episodes which are all available on Disney+ while season 2 is in production and a third is in the work.

This new animated film was directed by Mark Dindal and is based on the comic strip of the same name. The film has a star studded voice over cast that include Chris Pratt as the titular character and joined by Samuel L. Jackson, Ving Rhames, Hannah Waddington, Nicholas Hoult & Snoop Dogg. In this film, Garfield and his dog friend, Oddie, are kidnapped by a mysterious cat and her 2 lap dogs to catch her old friend, Vic who also happens to be Garfield’s estranged father. Now, the 3 must embark on heist to save their own skin or face the dark world of the pound. This movie comes after the 2 failed live action films that starred Bill Murray. In 2016, production had begun but in 2021, Sony had bought the movie rights and finished the film.

This film was produced, written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Cailie Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, Fiona Shaw & Krasinski himself and also features a stellar voice over cast which include Steve Carrell, Awkwafina, Bradley Cooper, Matt Damon, George Clooney & Blake Lively. In this film, a young girl is tasked to help a group of imaginary friends, “IFs” to find new children after their original ones grew up. Developing this film began in 2019 with Krasinski and Reynolds already attached but didn’t begin filming until 2022.

The latest premium live event took place in Saudi Arabia and is the 12th edition of the event following name & venue changes. The event saw the conclusion of both respected final rounds of the men’s and women’s tournament. In the men’s, Raw’s Gunther took on Smackdown’s Randy Orton while on the women’s side, Raw’s, Lyra Valkyria took on Smackdown’s Nia Jax. Sami Zayn defends the Intercontinental title against Bronson Reed & Chad Gable, Becky Lynch put the Women’s World Championship on the line against Liv Morgan. In the main event, champion versus champion, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes defends the WWE Championship against the United States Champion, “The Maverick” Logan Paul.

This supernatural horror movie was written and directed by Spenser Cohen & Anna Halberg and is based on the 1992 novel, “Horrorscope”. The film stars Harriet Slater, Jacob Batalon & Olwen Fouere. In this film, a group of college kids become cursed by an ancient evil after doing a horoscope reading with what looked to be tarot cards but was evil from the past. This film was the directorial debut for the 2 directors who were mostly known for writing and producing other films such as 2018’s “Extinction” & 2022’s “Moonfall”.

This film is the 3rd film overall but the first in a new trilogy & is based on the original 2008 film of the same name. The film was directed by Renny Harlin and stars Madeleine Petsch & Froy Gutierrez. In this film, a young couple wind up lost in a small Oregon town and have to spend the night in a small cabin but things take a horrifying turn when 3 masked people begin to stalk & terrorize them. This film follows the 2008 & 2018 films as far as film series but not as cannon but it also said to be the beginning of new story entirely with a sequel already scheduled for a late 2024 release and then another in 2025.

This psychological thriller was written and directed by Jane Schoenburn, produced by Emma Stone and stars Justice Smith & Brigette Lundy - Paine. In this film, 2 trouble teens become obsessed with a Young Adult TV show but as they get older, the show gets more darker but the teens get more obsessed, losing their grip on reality. This film was debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2024, the Berlin International Film Festival in February and the South By Southwest Film Festival in March before having a limited theatrical run starting on May 17.

In this film, when a major action star goes missing, the movie studio sends his stuntman to investigate and discovers a dark ploy that the actor is involved with. The film debuted at the South By Southwest Film Festival in March of 2024 before hitting theaters nationwide in May.

The 4th film in this reboot series and 10th film overall was directed by Wes Ball and stars Owen Teague, Kevin Durand & Peter Macon in the motion capture roles while Freya Allen & William H. Macy have live action roles. In this film, 300 years have passed since the events of the previous film. Here, the Apes are living on Earth in their own separate tribes while humans fight for survival. When a small tribe is attacked, the lone surviving ape ventures to rescue them from a new kingdom of apes living on a beachfront with help from an outcast orangutan and a human girl. The film began developing following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019 and was scheduled for a late 2023 release but was delayed for a summer release in 2024. The film hit theaters on May 10, 2024.

This film was directed and co written Matt Reeves and sees Andy Serkis return as “Caesar” and is joined by Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn. This is a sequel to the 2014 previous film and is the 9th film overall in the franchise. In this film, a group of human military men are on the hunt for the ape known as Caesar, who has gone into hiding after all war has broken out amongst the remaining humans. Their leader is a cold blooded man known only as “The Colonel” who stop at nothing to kill Caesar and anyone who stands in his way, human or ape. Although this film did not do the same box office numbers as the previous film, it still critically acclaimed and nominated for Best Visual Effects & Best Special Effects at both the Academy Awards and the British Academy Awards.

This film is the sequel to the 2011 previous film, the second film in the reboot series and the 8th film overall in the franchise. The film is directed by Matt Reeves and sees Andy Serkis return from the previous film as the ape, Caesar. Joining him is a slew of a cast which include Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, and Gary Oldman. In the motion capture cast we see Toby Kebbell also return and is joined by Judy Greer, Terry Notary & Karin Konoval. In this film, after the events of the previous film, the drug used to experiment on Caesar, has caused a worldwide pandemic in which more apes have evolved just like Caesar but have a deadly effect on humans which causes conflict between the two. This film was the highest grossing film of the franchise and the 8th highest of the year and won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

This franchise’s reboot began with this film that was directed by Rupert Wyatt and stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow & Andy Serkis. In this film, a chemist is experimenting with a new synthetic viral drug in order to cure Alzheimer’s. To test the cure, they use a small chimpanzee which proves to be highly successful. However, the chimp’s intellect grows at rapid pace that proves to be unstable and makes him a target by the government. This film is the first in the reboot series but the 7th film overall following the original 5 film from 1968 - 1973 as well as Tim Burton’s remake in 2001.

This sports drama was directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Zendaya, Mike Faist & Josh O’Connor. In this film, 2 long time friends and tennis players fall for the same girl who also happens to be a tennis prodigy, but things take a dark turn as each of them realize she has bigger goals and ambitions that don’t pertain to relationships or family. This movie was originally supposed to come out in September of 2023 but due to the SAG-AFTA Strike it was pushed back to April of 2024.

The WWE’s premium live event was held Lyons, France. This was the WWE first event held in France and the first time Backlash was held outside of North America. The event featured 5 matches, 4 of which were championship matches. The team of Randy Orton & Kevin Owens took on The Bloodline’s Solo Sokia & Tama Tonga, Bayley defends the WWE Women’s title in a triple threat match against Naomi & Tiffany Stratton, The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka & Kairi Sane defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles against the team of Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, Damien Priest defends the World Heavyweight Championship against “Main Event” Jey Uso and I. The main event, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes has his first title defense against “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

This film was written and directed by Alex Garland and produced by A24. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeney, Stephen McKinely Henderson & Nick Offerman. In this film, a group of journalists are making their way through a modern day Civil War from New York to Washington DC, with deadly forces from both the US military and local militias tracking their moves and the enemy. This film was released in March 2024 at the South By Southwest Film Festival before its national theatrical release in April.
