This seems an odd decision, so we have a little chat about the benefits & the drawbacks of this choice of location for the tournament.
Then we continue our ongoing exploration of the cards in the new Secret Wars set by taking a closer look at its ramp options. What are the ramp texts like? How do they compare to other ramp solutions? How well will they integrate into the current meta?

Welcome to the 147th Episode of the Ministry of Dice ā the UK based, bi-weekly best in Dice Masters podcast chat.
With the release of the new Secret Wars expansion, we have the introduction of a new card type ā Epic Basic Actions. Weāre going to take a closer look at these in this weekās episode, making it the EPIC episode.
Weāll start by explaining why these are Epic, both in terms of their position from the Marvel comics source material AND from their game effects. Youāll get a bit of a rundown of their comic book lore, and some chat about their game texts.
Then itās onto to how those game-texts could be used. Thereās some barmy stuff going on with the Epic Basic Actions, and we have a little chat about our initial thoughts on the pros and cons of each cardās game-text. Weāve not got to full combos yet, so drop us a line because weāre definitely coming back to this.

Wellā¦ we say ātune in to get the latest news & info about the Wizkids Game Dice Mastersā, but this is not your usual MoD episode ā weāve got just one featured segment all about the subject of there being not much to talk about.
After years of these highs & lows with the game weāre feeling a bit of burn out and disillusionment, and its time we talked about it. Weāre still months away from the potential release of Secret Wars and another period of creative content water treading is getting a little exhausting.
Donāt panic though ā this isnāt us wrapping up or anything ā this is just us (mostly Chris) getting it off our chest, and asking the audience if things are OK with you too.
So ā itās a meandering, completely unstructured episode really, with some insight into the challenges we face making Dice Masters content in the past, and as history repeats itself now.
