This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Laconia, New Hampshire... a place that's really important to them, to discuss the tragic case of Dennis "Boo" Vaughan, a little boy who never had a chance at life. After being born to a young mother and an abusive father who was in his 50's (both who were experiencing substance use issues at the time), Dennis and his siblings went to live with his grandmother, Sherry Connor. The problem was, Sherry was also extremely abusive, so Dennis wasn't safe in either environment. On Christmas Eve of 2019, little Dennis was found unresponsive in Sherry's apartment, and it would take years for the grandmother to be brought to justice.

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to discuss the tragic case of JaQuinn Brewton - an adorable toddler who went to stay with his godmother, Nadera Batson, and her boyfriend after his mother became homeless. But what was supposed to be a safe situation for little JaQuinn turned deadly after Nadera began beating him for hours, scalding his feet with hot water, and burning his backside with a kitchen blowtorch. Many people potentially heard what was going on inside of the apartment, but no one actually did anything to stop it.

Her father, James Smith, not only sexually assaulted her and her sister, but raped and attempted to kill a woman in North Carolina. After serving 5 years in prison, James moved back in with his family and changed his name to Matthew Wilson. However, just 2-years later, James (now Matthew) would set his sights once more on his daughter, Jennifer, and a tragedy that should have been prevented occurred.

While all of the other members of the Carroll household were getting ready for a family reunion out of state, Marcus was tightly bound in a blanket like a mummy and left in 110 degree heat, all alone, to die in a closet. This week, Drewby and Yergy head south to New Hampshire to discuss the case of Kimberly Cates, a mother from Mont Vernon who was killed in her bed after a group of teenage boys agreed to take “a test to make sure that we had the balls to do whatever.” That test was the brutal assault of a mother and daughter, with mom being hacked at 32 times.

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Littleton, Colorado, to discuss the tragic case of Olivia Gant. Olivia was a little girl who became the victim of Munchausen's Syndrome By Proxy. Her mother, Kelly Turner, began blogging about her daughter's fake illnesses, and bullied countless surgeons at the Children's Hospital of Colorado into performing dangerous and unnecessary procedures on little Olivia. Kelly collected thousands of dollars in charitable donations, gifts, and state benefits on behalf of her "sick" daughter. In the end, Olivia passed away after being starved to death in hospice. No one who should have recognized the horrors that Kelly was inflicting stepped up to save the little girl.
