You’ll hear intimate conversations with the cast members, including Danielle Deadwyler, John David Washington, Ray Fisher, Corey Hawkins, Michael Potts, Samuel L. Jackson, and director and co-writer, Malcolm Washington. Plus, we’ll dive into the world of August Wilson - one of the greatest American playwrights of all time. Jazmine is our guide as we learn about Wilson’s American Century Cycle, a series of plays that chronicle each decade of the Black American experience in the 20th century, and how The Piano Lesson fits into the larger whole.
