The State League awards kicked off the stream of awards nights on Thursday, followed by the referee night of nights on Friday. A select state team plays Perth Glory at the Sam Kerr Football Centre this weekend as a preview for the A League starting next month.

    Kelechi Osunwa, Perth Football Podcast. Kel brings us up to speed with who landed where in the playoffs, who landed in the MSL vacant space and the players and coaches who were outstanding this season. Olympic have a home tie against Northern NSW outfit Edgeworth Eagles. With three WA based sides still in the competition will Olympic use the home ground advantage to march into the final 16?

Where is it currently sitting in the scheme of the Australian NPL landscape and is it growing in stature, is the community getting on board, is it a good space for fostering and producing state representatives and national level players and bringing the best out of a healthy growth in junior football post WWC? What are the indicators it is a healthy development league sitting at a good semi-professional level. Why is there such huge player movement each year between teams and out of WA?

    Erin Clout, PFA Head of Player Relations - Women. The role the PFA plays in management and growth of A-League W and the Matildas.

    Morgan Aquino. The Perth Glory goalkeeper has recently secured a contract at DC Power in the USA and tells us how that came about, why she chose the USA as the next step in her career, where the league sits in the football landscape, what learnings she takes with her from Perth Glory.
