Palm Sunday commemorates when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey the week before his crucified and death. Although the people cried, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” and greeted Him with anxious expectation. However, by Friday, they would crucify Him. One week after He entered Jerusalem was the Resurrection of Christ when He first appeared to the myrrh-bearing women.

I appeared briefly on Talk TV with Julia Hartley-Brewer to talk about Norwood Primary & Pre-School cancelling Easter Service and Easter Bonnet Parade for their students this year. Talking the joy of Easter Bunny away from little kids in the name of diversity. I didn't get chance to talk about it in further detail with Julia due to time constraints so I thought it would be a good idea to expand on that appearance. "Of Innovations" is a short essay by Sir Francis Bacon. In his essay "Of Innovations," Francis Bacon explores the nature of change and innovation, arguing that while change is inevitable, it should be approached cautiously and with a focus on reformation rather than mere novelty, emphasizing the importance of following the "ancient way" before venturing into new paths. Bacon has been called the father of empiricism. He argued for the possibility of scientific knowledge based only upon inductive reasoning and careful observation of events in nature. Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Alban, 1st Baron Verulam, PC was an English philosopher and statesman who served as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England under King James I.This is a reading of a short essay by Sir Francis Bacon, "Of Innovations". In this episode, I discuss the inevitable Farage show, as I warned you all about before the elections, and also after the elections. Farage has always done this to a long list of political colleagues who have dared to challenge him on his ill advised positions, and recently he has done it to Ben Habib, Howard Cox, and now the fan favourite Rupert Lowe. It is a pattern that works for self interest and benefit - and as a nation Britain has no time for this nonsense.Read my conclusive recent piece on substack:https://www.theworldofmomus.com/p/farage-rupertlowe-reform-ukpoliticsBecome a Paid Substack Subscriber:https://www.theworldofmomus.comDonate:https://buymeacoffee.com/theworldofmomusConnect with me:Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/theworldofmomusLink Tree: https://www.linktr.ee/theworldofmomus#SovietBritain #ukpolitics #farage #reform #reformuk

In this episode of "Thoughts from Soviet Britain", I give my views on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. I talked about this at the start of the conflict and I have broadly maintained my position on a lot of the issues. But as the talks and troubles are increasing, but negotiations hopefully imminent, I thought I recap my views here.

In this episode of "Thoughts from Soviet Britain" I discuss my feelings around the continued imprisonment of Tommy Robinson / Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. And I also say a few words which I had written down as speech for the 1st of February rally, that I couldn't attend due to some unforeseen circumstances. But to be honest, I am not much of a public speaker anyway.
