AFTER 2.5 YEARS OF REQUESTING HIS HONORABLE PRESENCE- Judge J Middleton agreed to come on my show. When the pandemic hit, many courts went to "Zoom' style hearings and Judge Middleton secured a channel and his town/court system secured "Zoom Licenses" not in anticipation for the shutdown, but ready to go, nonetheless. After some great (or terrible) viral cases, Middleton became a Rock Star Judge. My thoughts are he was/is Fair and Firm. The guy you respect but don't want to be in front of. His court cases have been seen by A&E Court Cam and many other shows due to the sporadic events that can and will happen during a court case. I fell in love with him and his laid-back demeanor, his classic rock vibe as he sang songs while he launched his stream. This is the first of NONE- with respect to interviews and I feel we hit some very common questions and answers that perhaps we're all thinking during many of these cases. We also hit on Sov Cits and much more.
Enjoy this exclusive interview with the almighty Judge Jeffery C Middleton -

WE TRIED TO STAY TRUE, I TRIED TO STAY TRUE TO THE SONGS, I COMPARE IT RECITINGTO A CLASSIC POEM, YOU CAN HAVE A DIFFERENT NARRATOR (VOICE) BUT THE WORDS HAVETO BE THE WORDS. THAT WAS THE INTENTION THATWAS CREATED IN THE FIRST PLACE.I TRYTO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN WAS THEN AND WHAT (IS) NOW, IT WAS ON ME TO FIND WAYSTHESE SONGS WOULD EXIST IN THESE NEW KEYS (ABOUT A FOURTH DOWN)

ITâS SURREAL IN A WAY.
23:30 WE DISCUSS IF HIS FLEMENCOBACKGROUND HELPS HIS APPROACH TO THE VITO BRATTA SOLOS (TWO HANDED APPROACH),DOES THAT GIVE MARCUS AND ADVANTAGE?

57:15 END OF SHOW CREDITS AND INFORMATION -
I recently saw a post about a customer who went to a restaurant in Minnesota noting the questionable "Health and Wellness" charge. I called the restaurant to find out why there were charging this rate and I'm certain you can guess how they justified it. We also find out what a "Frickle" is and discuss my recent experience at Rock N Brews at LAX where Gene and Paul are tossing in a 20% tip on overpriced beers!
On This That and the Other, we dive deep into this massive scandal! :)

In Light of Founding Guitarist WAYNE SWINNY of Saliva, who passed away today 03/22/2023, I wanted to upload and share his final in person interview for radio; along w/ singer of 12 Years, Bobby Amaru whom invited me out to chat and see their show with their new drummer on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.
We will all miss Wayne whom I had the pleasure to tour with in 2018 quite extensively when I was in Tantric. I send love and light to their fans, bandmates and of course his family.
He was 59.

10:00 WHAT ANGST COMES FROM HAVING LAST INLINE BEING HAVING TO PAUSE MOMENTUM DUE TO THE DEF LEPPARD SCHEDULE
âYOUâRE KIND OF A PAWN IN THEIR MASTER PLANâ.
âITâSFRUSTRATINGâ. âITâS THE NATURE OF THEBEAST, WHEN YOU ATTACH YOURSELF TO THEIR FAME, YOUâRE JUST A PAWN IN THEIR MASTERPLANâ
VIVIAN WONâT STOP WHAT HES DOING FOR THIS, YOUâRE EITHERGONNA DO IT OR NOT (ITâS BLACK OR WHITE)
âVIVIAN IS COMMITTED IN A SENSE; MANY GIGS HAVE BEENCANCELLED. HE *(VIV) DOESNâT EVEN KNOW THE SCHEDULEâ.
12:00 âIT IS A SIDE PROJECT, IT IS A SERIOUS PROJECT, ITâLLEXIST UNTIL VIV DOESNâT WANT TO DO IT ANYMOREâ
13:00 ANDREW CLARIFIES âTHIS WAS NEVER A TRIBUTE TO THE MEMORY TO ANYBODYâ

âI DONâT THINK OF IT AS A âSHOE FILLINGâ THING, IâM A GOOD IMITATORâ
âI WANT TO AUDIENCE TO FEEL THAT THEYâRE GETTING SOMETHING ELSE THATâS JUST ASGOOD, OR BETTER OR COMPARIBLEâ. âI DONâT WANT TO WEAR FRILLYOUTFITS THAT RONNIE WORE, THAT COMES OFF FAKEâ18:30 âWHEN I FILLED IN FOR CJ (SNARE OF FIREHOUSE), HE WAS NOTSUPER HAPPY ABOUT IT, I SANG THE SONGS AS ME, THE BEST I COULD, MORE AGGRESSIVELY THAN CJ DID,NOT SAYING ITâS BETTER, BUT I JUST DID IT MY WAYâ

âI LOVED THEIR FIRST ALBUM BUT I WASNâT A FAN OF CERTAINELEMENTSâ, âI WANTED TO BRING OUT THE BLUES ELEMENT OUT BY WHAT INSPIRED THATMUSIC (NAMES HUMBLE PIE).
âRONNIEJAMES DIO WAS A BLUES SINGERâ EVEN THOUGH HEâS âTHE METAL GOD, THE GOD OFMETALâ.
21:30 FOLLOWING UP ON FIREHOUSE (CJ SNARE NOT BEING HAPPY)AND HOW ANDREW HANDLES SEEING THE ORIGINAL SINGERS OUT ON THE ROAD.
âIF I SEE SOMEBODY GETTINGWEIRD, I CONFRONT IT IMMEDIATELY-I DONâT TAKE SHIT FROM PEOPLEâ. âIF SOMEBODY HAS A PROBLEM WITH ME (FOR FILLINGIN/REPLACING), I CONFRONT IT FIRSTâ.HE RECALLED A MEETING W/ MARQ TORIEN (BULLETBOYS) WHERE HE WENTUP TO MARQ AND STATED, âHEY MAN, YOU AND I SHOULD BE FRIENDSâ, âTHIS ISALL NONSENSEâ, âEVERYBODY IS TRYING TO MAKE MONEY AND STAY OFF THE CONSTRUCTIONSITE; OR GET A REAL JOBâ.

26:30 WE GO BACK TO GREAT WHITE AND HIS DEPARTURE FROM THE BAND;WAS IT REALLY JUST SCHEDULING CONFLICTS SINCE YOU KNEW EARLY ON THERE WOULD BESOME OVERLAPPING, OR WAS IT SOMETHING ELSE THAT FOUND YOU OUT OF GREAT WHITE?
âI DONâT WANT TO GET THESEBANDS MORE PRESS FOR WHAT IâM DOINGâ (IN WHY HE DOESNâT LIKETALKING ABOUT IT)
âWHEN I START TALKINGABOUT THESE HUGE BANDS FROM BACK IN THE DAY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN ME ANDTHEM, IT JUST BRINGS MORE PRESS TO THEMâ âI DONâT WANT TO GET THEM ANY MORE PRESSâ LIKE BETWEEN âJACK RUSSELL ANDTHE OTHER GUYâ, âIâVE GOT NO SKIN IN THAT GAMEâ.âIWAS IN THE BAND FOR 4-5 MONTHS, WHY THE FUCK DOES IT MATTERâ.

âI HAD QUIT IN SEPTEMBER BECAUSE OF THE FIRST CONFLICT AND SOMEBODY GOT MOUTHYWITH ME OVER EMAIL AND I SAID âI DONâT REALLY NEED THIS GIGâ, GET SOMEBODY ELSEâAND THE PHONE RANG RIGHT AWAY.âBUT LISTEN, IâM JUST AS REPLACABLE AS THE NEXT GUYâ, âIâMSURE THEYâLL BE FINE WITH THE NEW GUY, I THOUGHT MITCH WAS GREATâ
36:30 âMICHAELLARDIE AND I HAD A HANDSHAKE AGREEMENT, IF THIS DOESNâT WORK FOR YOU LET MEKNOW, NO HARM NO FOUL, THE PROBLEM IS, THEY GOT SNEAKY ABOUT ITâ
âALL COMMUNICATION STOPPEDâ AND AS THEY FOUND THEIR NEW SINGER (Brett Carlisle).

âTHEY ONLY LISTEN TO MEWHEN I SAY THE GUYS IN THIS BAND ARE DICKS, THEN IT MAKES A BLABBERMOUTHHEADLINEâ (WHEN STATING HE WAS ORIGINALLY GOING TO GIVE A PREPARED STATEMENTBUT INSTEAD TOLD MORE OF THE STORY).âTHATWHOLE THING WAS JUST A LITTLE SNEAKY AND IT DIDNâT NEED TO BEâ.

16:30 GREG DISCUSSES HIS AUDITIONPROCESS AND HIS THOUGHTS ON MEETING THE WHITE LION GUYS, AND THEIR STYLE OFMUSIC
17:30 âI HAD TO DO A MENTAL ADJUSTMENT, PLAYING IN A POPGIG, PLAYING FOR THE SONGS, AND UNDER PLAYINGâ. HE ALSO DISCUSSES THE DIFFERENCES FROM THE 2YEARS OF PREP THEY HAD FOR PRIDE, A FULL BAND EFFORT TO A 2 WEEK PREP FOR THEOTHER ALBUMS ESSENTIALLY BECAUSE OF TOURING AND GETTING THE ALBUM OUT âYESTERDAYâ. IN ADDITION TO WOOD-SHEDDING THE SONGS AS ABAND MINUS SINGER MIKE TRAMP WHO WOULD COME IN AT THE END WITH MEDLEYS HECREATED WITH DEMOS FROM REHEARSALS.
22:00 WE DISCUSS THE MANY HITS OFBANDS THAT HAD HUGE HITS WITH SONGS THAT DIDNâT HAVE ANY DRUMS, BUT IN CONTRASTTHAT RADAR LOVE (A#1 VIDEO ON MTV), HAD AN ACTUAL DRUM SOLO IN IT WHICH WAS VERY DIFFERENT FORTHE TIME.

WEDISCUSS THE CLIMATE MUSICALLY (BOTH IN WHITE LION AND WITH GRUNGE COMING IN) WHICHULTIMATELY CONTRIBUTED TO JAMES LOMENZO AND GREG DâANGELO DEPARTING THEBAND. IT AGAIN LEADS TO BUSINESS ISSUES (PUBLISHING, SONG WRITING ETC, HOWEVER THEBAND WERE EQUAL PARTNERS). IT APPEARSTHAT LIKE WHITE LION, PRIDE AND GLORY WOULD LEAVE THE RHYTHM SECTION TO NOT GETEQUAL CUTS OF ALL OF THE BUSINESS ASPECTS (I READ THAT AS PUBLISHING,SONGWRITING).
âIT REALLY COMESDOWN TO WHAT DO YOU WANT? DO YOU WANT TO BE IN A âBANDâ? IF YOUâRE GONNA TAKE THE LEAD ROLE, YOU ALSOHAVE TO TAKE THE ROLE OF RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE ITâS FAIR FOR EVERYBODY& THAT EVERYBODY IS HAPPYâ
âTHATâS REALLY WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO, ITâS NOT JUST ABOUT TAKING THE DOUGH ANDRUNNING, YOU REALLY NEED TO BE A LEADER AND MAINTAIN THAT STABILITY, ITâS ARESPONSIBILITYâ.
37:30 WHY DID WHITE LION FAIL WHENGREG AND JAMES LEFT BEFORE THE US TOUR IN 1991?
GREG GOES BACK TO DISCUSSING THEDEMISE OF THE BAND DUE TO THE DEMISE OF THE BROTHERHOOD. âYOU NEED TO HAVE ELEMENTS OF THOSE IDEAL INANY BUSINESS, IF YOUâRE NOT TREATING SOMEONE FAIRLY, THEYâRE GONNA SPLIT; YOUNEED TO TREAT PEOPLE FAIRLYâ.HE DOESNâT BLAME MIKE AND VITO, HE BLAMESMANAGEMENT THAT WAS AS I INTERPRET AS SHORTSIGHTED.
39:40 GREG BELIEVES BEYOND THE BUSINESSISSUES, THE BAND COULD HAVE SURVIVED IN OTHER MARKETS DESPITE THE MUSICALCLIMATE CHANGING.
40:30 I ASK POINT BLANK- âHOW DO YOU GET TOTHE GOAL LINE OF RECORDING/RELEASING THE S/T DEBUT PRIDE AND GLORY ALBUM ANDBAIL. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? âSIMILAR ISSUESâ

Over the past year or so, I've kept up w/ ANDY DICK (NEWS RADIO, ZOOLANDER, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, DANCING WITH THE STARS). TTTO donated some money when he was apparently down and out, and a strange "Friendship" (if you will) began.
We hadn't spoken to Andy since March (https://www.podcasts.com/this-that-the-other-radio-show-with-troy-patrick-farrell-9875be9a7/episode/03022022-ttto-andy-dick-update) and when news broke of his jail sentence, I thought I'd reach out to see how he was doing and what is in store for him post jail. (Andy Dick sentenced to 90 days in jail in groping case, must register as sex offender (msn.com))
We chatted for more than 10 minutes before he whisked himself away after asking for me to call him back "in an hour".
Check out this exclusive update. -
In light of recent publicity regarding the Sweden Rock Festival 2022 and the KINGDOM COME Performance, Drummer James Kottak addresses allegations of "being drunk".He reveals why they had the performance they did. Gave his status on drinking, and update on his relationship with the Scorpions and we discuss "Bass Solo's" at length. (well, not really)
