Hey everyone - sorry this took so long to put out. This was supposed to be released back in October before we left on the Mothman movie shoot, but a lot has happened since then that has led to a lot of complications in getting episodes out on time. We're thinking of podcasting about it soon just to be transparent, but we'll see. In the meantime, we hope you'll enjoy this super-long and ridiculous episode of TCMC featuring the very first Dahmer movie, "The Secret Life", starring Blood Diner's Carl Crew!

Hoo boy, this one's a twofer - more bullshit from Geno McGahee and more fake Amityville.
-
The List family have been murdered on film no less than four times. This is one of those times.
-
Not even Crispin Glover can save this dime-store exploitation-wannabe "slasher" film supposedly based on "true events" in this week's episode of TRUE CRIME MOVIE CLUB!
-
This movie could not hold our attention, so we ended up talking about other dumb shit for half of the episode - enjoy!
-
(CONTENT WARNING: This is easily the most despicable and disgusting movie we've reviewed yet, so if you're easily disturbed or upset by cinematic portrayals of rape and the discussion of them, skip this episode.)
We can't even joke about this one, y'all - in this episode we trash the 2012 "Paranormal Activity" ripoff, "100 Ghost Street: The Return of Richard Speck" - a film that uses cheap shock tactics like murder via ghost rape to scare the audience it has duped into watching it. -
Sparkies are for closers in our review of David Mamet's 2013 HBO movie adaptation of the Phil Spector murder case! Grab some popcorn and your favorite wig and join us for a lively discussion about this jumbled mess of a TV film!
-
Join Dan, Jesse, Chef Bagels, Jeff, and Micheal as they review one of the worst movies they've seen yet - a trashy 2013 exploitation direct-to-video slasher based on the Long Island Serial Killer case!
NOTE: At the time we recorded this episode, it was streaming on Prime, but has since vanished. The only version of the film currently available is a much longer "director's cut" on YouTube with different and extended scenes. -
Join Dan, Jesse, Chef Bagels, Jeff, and Micheal as they review the 1995 FOX TV-movie-of-the-week adaptation of the O.J. Simpson murder saga that was so awful, the director and its network literally disowned it. Merry Christmas, everyone!
-
Join Dan, Jesse, Chef Bagels, Jeff, and Micheal as they discuss the 2007 Jared Leto/Lindsay Lohan indie vehicle, "Chapter 27", which tells the story of Mark David Chapman's December 8, 1980 murder of musician and activist John Lennon.
-
Kane Hodder stars in one of the worst movies we've ever seen - 2007's direct-to-DVD fever dream, ED GEIN: THE BUTCHER OF PLAINFIELD!
-
Hi everyone! The new episode is taking longer than usual due to Dan and Jesse needing to wrap up edits on "THE ACID KING", their true crime documentary, so this week we're giving you a bonus episode of Micheal's podcast, UNRESOLVED. In this special episode, Micheal talks about a true crime movie of a different breed - the "Grave Robbing for Morons" tape! Sit back and enjoy, and TRUE CRIME MOVIE CLUB will return to its regular format shortly. Stay safe and don't get COVID!
-
Back in 2019, Dan, Chef Bagels, and Jesse recorded an episode of their sister show, PODCAST 1289, where they talked about a bunch of really stupid news articles involving Ted Bundy, along with a discussion about the Netflix film, "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile", which had just been released. In the wake of the overwhelmingly positive reception that episode received, the boys asked themselves "Hey, wouldn't it be kind of funny to watch terrible serial killer films and roast them on a brand-new podcast?" - and TRUE CRIME MOVIE CLUB was born!
-
Join us for our first "Nitpicker's Delight" episode, where we watch a good movie for a change - 2013's "The Frozen Ground", starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack, which is based on the crimes of serial killer Robert Hansen.
-
This is very possibly the worst movie we've ever seen. Even worse than D.C. Sniper. Holy shit.
-
Join Dan, Jesse, Chef Bagels, Jeff, and Micheal as they discuss the first cinematic adaptation of New Jersey's most infamous true crime case - the John List murders. On the marquee this week is 1993's TV movie of the week, "Judgement Day: The John List Story"!
Closing Music: "John's List" by The Whirling Dervishes. -
Join Dan, Jesse, Jeff, and Micheal as they discuss one of the dumbest movies they've seen yet - 2020's laughably cheap "THE JONESTOWN HAUNTING"!
-
Join Dan, Jesse, Chef Bagels, Jeff, and Micheal as they discuss the most offensive true crime movie they've seen yet - 2020's "The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson" - formerly known as "The Haunting of Nicole Brown Simpson", directed by Daniel Farrands, the cinematic grave-robber behind 2019's "The Haunting of Sharon Tate"!
