  • In this episode, we explore the devastating case of Tori Dunn, a 30-year-old woman from Surrey, BC, who was tragically killed in her home in June 2024. The circumstances surrounding her death have sparked outrage, as the man accused, Adam Troy Mann, was released on bail despite a history of violent crimes.

We’ll take a closer look at the controversial "catch and release" bail system in Canada, questioning how someone with such a dangerous background could be free to commit another violent act. Through this episode, we aim to raise awareness of Tori Dunn’s story and advocate for meaningful changes in the Canadian justice system to better protect victims of crime and their families.

In an exclusive conversation, we speak with Tori’s father, Aron Dunn, who shares his pain and frustration, as well as his hopes for reform in the wake of his daughter’s tragic death. Join us as we shed light on a system that many believe is failing to keep Canadians safe and discuss the urgent need for change.

  • In this two part episode, we mark the somber milestone of 15 years since the mysterious disappearance of Jodi Henrickson. On a summer night in June 2009, the 17-year-old left for a party on Bowen Island and was never seen again. Her case has remained unsolved, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

We’re joined by documentary producer Jenni Baynham, who is deep into creating a docuseries aimed at uncovering new leads and bringing Jodi’s story back into the spotlight. Jenni's work is not just about storytelling but about seeking justice and closure for Jodi and her family.

  • Sherry Corrigal, a 22-year-old woman from Nanaimo, has been missing since September 2023. Her disappearance is considered suspicious and deeply troubling by the Nanaimo RCMP, who have been actively investigating her case. Sherry was last seen in the downtown area of Nanaimo, and her lack of contact with family and friends is highly unusual.

Sherry is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing around 90 pounds, with long dark hair, and distinctive tattoos on her arms, hands, and back. Despite numerous searches, interviews, and the review of CCTV footage, there have been no significant leads. Her case remains a high priority for the investigators, who are urging anyone with information to come forward directly to the police, rather than sharing unverified details on social media.

Join us as we sit down with Jami, one of Sherry's foster mothers, who shares insights into Sherry's life and the emotional journey her loved ones have endured since her disappearance.

  • In this episode we dive into the murder of 20-year-old Laura Lopera. Colombian authorities have named Canadian Jesse Gilbert Wiseman as the prime suspect in the murder. Laura's body was found in a suitcase in Jesse Wiseman's Medellín apartment. The pair met on a dating app, and Wiseman left Colombia for Guatemala shortly before the body was discovered. The crime has sparked outrage, with preliminary investigations suggesting Lopera died on February 4, 2024. Wiseman's behaviour and verbal threats have raised concerns about potential abuse. Medellín's mayor has confirmed Wiseman’s identification and is seeking justice through Interpol.

We speak to Richard Emblin from The City Paper Bogota as well as a first-hand witness, Travis Ridgen, who believes he had a very strange run in with Jesse Wiseman on a VIA Rail train that was travelling from Vancouver to Winnipeg mid February 2024.

  • In Sparwood, B.C., tragedy struck when Joel Zimbalatti was found dead in his mobile home. Despite months passing since the incident, the details surrounding his death remain veiled in mystery. While one individual fled the scene before authorities arrived on Oct. 11, another, identified as "Slim" (real name Joshua Freeman), has emerged as a crucial person of interest. Joshua isn't the only person of interest though, a second man was taken into custody and released, and has since been uncooperative with the investigation.

Joel's mother Toni and his best friend Chris are pleading anyone with information on Slim's whereabouts to come forward.

Slim, described as a tall, thin white man with distinctive sideburns, was last sighted in the Kimberly area but is believed to have ties to the Okanagan region. With Slim's knowledge crucial to unravelling the events leading to Joel's death, authorities urge caution but implore anyone with information to contact them immediately.

To anyone with information regarding Joshua Freeman, the other person of interest, or the case in general, please call 1-877-987-8477. If sighted, do not approach; instead, contact authorities promptly by dialling 911.
