While we fight for climate change remember the women in the rural areas who depend on fire wood from fallen trees to cook and are being told they can’t use them to cook because of the climate action to save trees. For some of them, they sell firewood and this has been their source of income for years!
Yes it is honourable to fight against deforestation but have you thought about these women and what the livelihood of their families may look like because of this action?
