Unregulated microblading doesn’t just lead to badly done brows but is an infringement on basic human rights. Luckily the good people of Missouri won’t have to worry about unlicensed microbladers for much longer though thanks to the work of Kaety Bowers and Meg Melchert. It was an honor to have them on the show today and hear them speak about their activism for a more regulated PMU community in Kansas City. After a woman ended up with four eyebrows due to shockingly amateur microblading work, Katy and Meg decided that they had to take a stand, and today they tell us about how they teamed up with some fellow PMU artists and took the issue to the board at the state level.

Today’s guest is Kelly Hankamer from Moonage Daydream Esthetics, and she joins us to shed some light on what becoming a permanent makeup professional looks like in today's industry.
