I Was A Food Log Junkie!
Me and my food log journal were BFFâs!!
I donât remember the exact day when I started food loggingâŠI do remember it being extremely TIME CONSUMING especially when I first started.
I would measure out ALL my food and enter it into the my âfood loggingâ pal.
I spent hours and hours entering foodâŠif the food I was eating wasnât in there I would manually enter it.
I would create recipes and input them so I could have the exact calorie/ macro breakdown.
As I was entering I also noticed that some of the entries that popped up were not accurate so I would go in and recreate that entry so I could be more precise.
Then I realized when I was measuring my food it wasnât accurateâŠa cup of something has much more variances in the calorie amount.
Then I started weighing my foods in grams. âThis is as precious as I can get other than being in a laboratory!â I thought.
I weighed IT ALL!

If you have been following me for some time you know that the best way to lose weight is to make sure your mind is set up for success. You can learn EXACTLY how to do this inside my group program and my private coaching but I want to give you some additional layers of my mindset method on this podcast so you can understand why it works so darn well!! I have clients losing 17 lbs inside my Jumpstart group program when the goal is to lose 10lbs in 12 weeksâŠI have clients who have lost 20lbsâŠ40lbs and 90lbsâŠall using my method. I do not care what size you currently are, how tall you are, what your family genetics are like, where you are in the menopause phases or what diagnosis you were given. My method works. And it is natural. No weird foods. No counting calories or points. You get to live life without feeling restricted or having to put yourself in a bubble to lose the weight.
Hereâs what recent client Tiffany had to sayâŠ
I found Nikki through her podcast. I signed up and after our first meeting, I was still skeptical. But slowly with coaching and training I was starting to see how dieter's mentality had impacted my thoughts and actions. Following Rule #1 was challenging at first. It's so different from anything I've ever done before. The weekly check-ins and coaching helped tremendously with mindset and getting down to the root of why I thought weight loss was impossible for me. I'm doing the work (mindset) and losing weight has become stress free. I lost about 9lbs in the 9 weeks I worked with Nikki and have continued to lose another 5lbs since our coaching sessions have ended. And I literally eat whatever I want. I don't measure food. I don't meal prep. I don't keep a log of food I've eaten throughout the day. Those 14lbs I've lost are never coming back and I know I will continue to keep losing more. I'm more aware of my thoughts, feelings, and actions. I've learned (and continue to learn) to embrace them whether they're positive or negative and I do not let them derail me. Nikki gives a workout program as well. They helped me to jumpstart getting physically active again. They are highly effective and are all 30 minutes or less.
I would 100% recommend Nikki. I'm so glad I stumbled upon her podcast. I would highly recommend that you take notes every session. I wish I took more notes myself. A couple sessions I got so involved in the conversation that I forgot. Nikki will help point out negative thoughts, feelings or actions you might be dealing with and together explore them. This helps to recognize them the next time which can help with derailing or spiraling of thoughts, feeling, and/or actions. I have discovered that the mindset work is vital to weight loss and she hit the head on the nail with each session we had. I guided the sessions with my struggles or questions. She was always available for my questions and made me see through the bs in my head. If you are truly serious about losing weight and not gaining it back for the last time, Nikki will certainly help you to your goal.

This Is Holding You Back In Your Weight Loss Efforts
Typically when you start a diet or you decide you want to lose weight you start thinking of all the things that you are not allowed to haveâŠ. and you may lose weight taking that process but 9 times out of 10 you're going to regain the weight or you're just going to be miserable for the rest of your life trying to maintain that weight lossâŠ
Today,I want to share with you why THIS mindset is holding you back and I'll give you a better alternative way of approaching weight loss especially when you are a woman over 40.
We all know that things change during middle age.
Our hormones are changing.
Our life may be changing.
But the one thing that I teach my clients is no matter what is going on in your lifeâŠ.
You can have control over how you want your body to look and feel no matter what is going on.
When you decide to lose weight you start listing all the things you CANâT do anymoreâŠ
I CANâT eat this foodâŠ
I canât eat after 6 pm (which btw is a HUGE myth!!)âŠ.
I canât sit and relax anymore because I have to workoutâŠ
I canât sleep in because I have to get up at 4am to do my workoutsâŠ
I canât have sweetsâŠand on and onâŠ
This makes me tense just listing it to you!!
How does THIS make you feel when you hear this??
