Bethany Wilde (@bethanyjanewilde) tells the story of her second birth, a simple, normal freebirth... where she discovered a power she didn't know she had. We discuss the complexities of maternal guilt, the spiritual aspects of parenting, and the duality of birth, how it is both simple AND challenging.

Molly (@molly___flint), a mother and pediatric nurse, shares her deeply insightful personal journey through miscarriages and her drive to achieve a homebirth with her first baby, through masculine knowledge and evidence, without the balance of feminine intuition and inner knowing. We highlight the interplay between ego and logic and how birth is meant to teach us something we do not know, especially when we believe we "know everything" about birth.

The ego mind can use ANYTHING for it's own control. God can be used for good or evil. Prayer can be used for surrender OR control. In this episode I talk about the many thoughts I have about prayer: why it's so important, but also how we have to be honest with ourselves and be aware of our ego mind.

I share my personal journey with alchemizing insomnia to a deeper surrender through facing my deepest fears. I discuss the German New Medicine explanation of insomnia and how victimhood intensifies symptoms! Also, I learned how to melt into anxiety instead of try to resist and run away from it. Melting into pain or anxiety is learning how to somatically surrender through the body.

My personal journey of not getting pregnant for more than a decade.... led me to my soul, my authentic self, my soul's destiny. For the first two years, I was simmering in victimhood. Then for the next eight years, I gained a "Ph.D in my mind." I observed how my mind is committed to control and victimhood.... and so I chose to change my mind....change my perspective... and let my soul lead! That's when everything bloomed...... especially myself.

My sister Faren (@studiofaren) is a clinical therapist, art therapist, and artist. We have a deep conversation about self-awareness, becoming the compassionate witness of our feelings, and how to mature from an immature woman (maiden) to a mature woman (mother). We discuss how mom guilt is a messenger and there are many branches and roots of mom-guilt: high expectations of women from society, ignoring intuition, or continuing generational patterns we don't align with etc. This conversation emphasizes the need for women to reassess their values and make conscious choices that align with their authentic selves!

Rachel @racheljane (one of my best friends) and I have a raw conversation about bringing consciousness to every area of her current maiden life: dating, health, food, body image, God/religion, finances, shopping, etc. After being depressed for many years, her life transformed when she tried hypnotherapy for the first time! She discovered a much deeper relationship with God and is now on the path of discovering who her authentic self really is. She is shedding victimhood of her period pain and learned how to alchemize PMS pain by recognizing lineage beliefs about womanhood and now loves to create ritual and ceremony during her bleed. She has learned that dating is a complete mirror of our inner beliefs..... but we need radical self-honesty to see it.
We hope to have more conscious conversations together in the future so let us know what you want to hear in the realm of healing, being conscious, finding the authentic self, and maidenhood: [email protected]

Emily Swann (@theloveofbreastfeeding) shares her experience from being a labor and delivery nurse to becoming an internationally board certified lactation consultant and a mother of two. She discusses her first birth and how she did not feel safe with her midwife, which lead to a homebirth transfer to the hospital and a multitude of lessons! Emily emphasizes the power of suggestion in birth, the influence of who is in the room during birth, and the challenges of breastfeeding her first baby which helped her fully step into her Mother role powerfully to find her voice and intuition. She has learned that deep attunement and connection between mother and baby is everything. She highlights the importance and the need for mothers to trust their instincts, which is why she created a course for mothers to fully step into their role instead of outsourcing to others.

Raquel DaRowe, a hypnotherapist and mother, shares her journey of waking up from a robotic way of living, while having the "the perfect American life:" the job, the house, the engagement.... only to realize that she was not fulfilled, which began her journey of self-discovery. We have a beautifully deep conversation about victimhood in parenthood, limiting beliefs of the mind, being conscious about phone usage in our intimate relationships, and the power of choice we have in our lives.

Meghan (@meghanganong) is back for Part 2!! We delve into the concept of conscious mothering, the significance of the mother-baby dyad, and how modern parenting often overlooks the needs of children. We discuss the organic process of learning, the significance of presence and observation in parenting, and the emotional conflicts that can affect health. The conversation also delves into the principles of German New Medicine, emphasizing the connection between the mind and body, and how awareness can lead to a more peaceful life.
