  • Wish We Never Met,er, Went to Whistler? Absolutely not because it's one of the best mountain towns in the world! On the new episode of WWNM, Amy and Dan are chatting live on location from the Fairmont Chateau Whistler during the town’s famed food and wine festival, Whistler Cornucopia.

Aside from experiencing a wine dinner hosted by Jason Priestly, and possibly scaring the famous actor, Dan chronicles the magic to be found in Whistler’s small-but-mighty food scene. (And if you haven’t been to Bearfoot Bistro, you haven’t lived.)

A drive from Vancouver to Whistler makes Amy reminisce about family road trips, and the makeshift porta potty her mom constructed for the back of their family van so the kids could go at leisure and not slow down the highway progress. Ah, the early 90s...

All of this and more on this week’s episode, so buckle up and stream away!

  • Wish We Never Met each other? The answer is YES, but still listen to this WWNM episode anyway.

Starting things off with a cheers, Amy and Dan try the new(ish) Inversion Nitro Cocktails to surprising results, before chatting about Mailroom Vodka’s unique approach to marketing and bottle design.

With the recent streaming release of the Amy Winehouse film Back to Black, the co-hosts chat a bit about the one-of-a-kind singer’s rise to fame and sad demise. The conversation reminds Amy about chance encounters with celebrities like Winehouse when she lived in LA.

Jason Segel and Russell Brand jaywalking, she claims? Can you believe it?!

Have you ever thought about how cranberries are grown? Hopefully Dan was the only person that thought they grew under water. Seriously

Don’t fret, he somewhat redeems himself with a fun chat about the upcoming Prime Video series 'The Sticky', followed by a few charcuterie and holiday party food tips too.

Lastly, there’s a lot of great Canadian music out lately including a new one from the east coast icon Kim Stockwood, which has the co-hosts reminiscing about their first concert experiences.

  • Wish We Never Met historian (and songwriter!) David Borys? You’ll need to listen to find out. A new episode of WWNM has arrived and Dan is...well, he's in Norway. So, he begrudgingly joins Amy virtually from abroad.

After spending a few days at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Dan explains that a large part of the magic of the contentious global sports competition isn’t found at the sports matches at all, but instead at Olympic Houses of different countries like Czechia, India, Mongolia and, of course, Canada too.

While Dan was away, Amy DJed a queer wedding
and while doing so was hit on by a plethora of straight women. The co-hosts happily delve into the topic of "straight women gone wedding wild" before guest David Borys joins.

Borys is boasts an unusual trifecta being one-part history professor, one-part inquisitive podcast host (Curious Canadian History), and, most recently, one-part CCMA Award-nominated songwriter for helping pen the Top 10 Canadian country radio hit “Whiskey in Colorado”. The co-hosts' chat with Borys is especially engaging!

” story that ends in
marriage?

Remember Fuddruckers? While YOU may have not thought about the burger chain for a long time, Dan thinks about it
a lot, so it’s a topic Amy is forced to explore at the beginning of the episode. (DYK there’s still two Fuddruckers in Saskatchewan?)

Last, but not least, Amy can’t stop thinking about what life would be like if Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette were still together. Ah, celebrity couples of days gone by.
