Lynn is a tour leader who has been with Women Traveling Together for over 10 years. She has led groups of women through the Trans Siberian Railway, falcon flying in Scotland, polar bear watching in Canada, and many other adventures.
After making a commitment to herself to stop working so much and take some of the trips on her bucket list, Lynn found herself fully immersed in WTT. And when an opportunity opened for her to become a tour leader, she grabbed it and so began her journey as a WTT tour leader.
The selection process was very intense but learning how to create moments for others and for yourself makes it truly worth it!

Adrienne Gayoso from the National Museum of Women in the Arts is very enthusiastic when it comes to getting others to learn more about the paintings and artworks from women artist across time, place and culture. Returning to a place youâve been before to reminisce and relish your past experience but in a different way is truly a wonderful feeling for any wanderlust.
Pat also talked about the importance of having the right size for a group when traveling. And what drew her to Tuscany aside from the marvelous food and drinks in the city.
Itâs not just the destination that creates the experience, different trip leaders have different things theyâre interested in and the rest of the participants in the group also contribute to that experience as well. Various events and people help create a unique experience even if you go back and do something very similar to what you've done before itâll still be different.

We all have our own favorite things that we canât let go of and we want to take it with us wherever we go. But it doesnât have to be like that if you're planning to travel. When you travel, you have to be space-smart and get rid of the mindset that you need stuff âjust-in-caseâ. Trust me, you really donât. Unless youâd be staying in some isolated island for a week!
In todayâs episode, Debra shares helpful tips on how to condense your life in a 25-inch suitcase and still feel comfortable, not feeling home-sick all throughout the journey. And she notes the importance of being able to manage your suitcase on your own.
We want to bring something from home that makes us comfortable inside our suitcase. Sure they arenât just objects that have sentimental value, but you donât really really need them when youâre planning to see the world. You can buy it anywhere you go.
The less things you have the quicker your decisions will be. The less you bring, the more you can enjoy priceless moments that really matter.
