This week in Haus of Unpopular...You guessed it, we're talking about Urban Legends. There's nothing like a good tale is there? A good auld fashion bare faced lie to scare the living bejesus out of a youngster. We discuss some of the most popular Irish ones, and discover some very interesting facts such as: Banshee's being bias toward the Republic of Ireland specifically as there are only 26, one for each county, and the fact that Jennifer Aniston starred in a movie called "Leprechaun".....and there wasn't just one of those movies. As always, get us on Insta @theunpopularopinion2020 and we hope you enjoy! If you can't get enough of us, we're on Patreon too. The $2 tier is for those who just want to give us a monthly tip (thank you!), and the $6 tier unlocks extra episodes every week. You can also one-time support us through your podcast player too, all is very much appreciated :)

This week in Haus of Unpopular we discuss life hacks. We chat about the stupid videos that you see online everyday, and about the ones we've tried and tested that have changed the way we live today. Get a pen and paper out because you might want to take a few of these down! Keep an eye on our Insta if you want to see us trying a few of them out on our stories @theunpopularopinion2020 (we'll save it to a highlight if you're listening at a later stage)

This week in Haus of Unpopular, we're chatting about Internet stalking. The title is fairly self explanatory, so we'll just leave this warning here ***Do not listen to this around your partner if you're the type to snoop*** other than that, we hope you enjoy. The insta is @theunpopularopinion2020 and check us out on Patreon if you're feeling it!

This week, I talk to Keith Walsh. 2FM's Keith has become an advocate for taking care of your mental health after opening up last year. He told his followers that he didn't want to feel 'just grand' anymore and had decided to go to therapy. Today, he speaks to me about his journey and how asking for help is always a good idea. This week after the death of Caroline Flack, I felt I needed to record a podcast around mental health. I struggled myself after I was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. Today, we have an open and honest conversation and I hope if you are struggling you can see light at the end of the tunnel. I heard something interesting that Gerry Hussey said last week, he said 'we are the light'. And I think that's a lovely way to look at things. I hope if you are going through a tough time this podcast gives you hope that's all I ever wanted to achieve with it. Please call Pieta House if you feel like you need help or you are in crisis on 1800 247 247. I went to counselling last year and hand on my heart it was the best thing I ever did. Lots of love to you all on a tough week
