Some pass their lives ruling by intimidation. The Saints pass their lives chanting the Lords Praises. || 6 || Some pass their lives counseling and giving advice. Some pass their lives forced to serve others. Some pass their lives exploring lifes mysteries. The Saints pass their lives drinking in the sublime essence of the Lord. || 7 || As the Lord attaches us, so we are attached. No one is foolish, and no one is wise. ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਭਗਤ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਕੀ ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਹਮ ਸਰਿ ਦੀਨੁ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਨ ਤੁਮ ਸਰਿ ਅਬ ਪਤੀਆਰੁ ਕਿਆ ਕੀਜੈ ॥ ਬਚਨੀ ਤੋਰ ਮੋਰ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ਰਮਈਆ ਕਾਰਨੇ ॥ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਵਨ ਅਬੋਲ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਨਮ ਬਿਛੁਰੇ ਥੇ ਮਾਧਉ ਇਹੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ਲੇਖੇ ॥ ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਆਸ ਲਗਿ ਜੀਵਉ ਚਿਰ ਭਇਓ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖੇ ॥੨॥੧॥ ਅਰਥ: (ਹੇ ਮਾਧੋ!) ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਤੇ, ਤੇਰੇ, ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਮੇਰੀ ਕੰਗਾਲਤਾ ਦਾ) ਹੁਣ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਤਾਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ। (ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਰਾਮ!) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿਦਕ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਚ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰੇ।੧। ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਰਾਮ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ; ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਗੱਲੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ?।ਰਹਾਉ। ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-ਹੇ ਮਾਧੋ! ਕਈ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਵਿਛੁੜਿਆ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ (ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੇਰਾ) ਇਹ ਜਨਮ ਤੇਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਬੀਤੇ; ਤੇਰਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਬੜਾ ਚਿਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ) ਆਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਜੀਊਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।੨।੧। ਭਾਵ: ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਦਰ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ। DHANAASAREE, DEVOTEE RAVI DAAS JEE: ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. ਬਾਰਹ ਮਾਹਾ ਮਾਂਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੪ ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ਵੈਸਾਖਿ ਧੀਰਨਿ ਕਿਉ ਵਾਢੀਆ ਜਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬਿਛੋਹੁ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਲਗੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਧੋਹੁ ॥ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਧਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਅਵਿਨਾਸੀ ਓਹੁ ॥ ਪਲਚਿ ਪਲਚਿ ਸਗਲੀ ਮੁਈ ਝੂਠੈ ਧੰਧੈ ਮੋਹੁ ॥ ਇਕਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਗੈ ਲਈਅਹਿ ਖੋਹਿ ॥ ਦਯੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਵਿਗੁਚਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਚਰਣੀ ਜੋ ਲਗੇ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਇ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਵੈਸਾਖੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਤਾਂ ਲਗੈ ਜਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਭੇਟੈ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥ ਅਰਥ: (ਵੈਸਾਖੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਿਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਮਰਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਰੀਝਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਿਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ) ਵੈਸਾਖ ਵਿਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਖਲੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਪਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਿੱਛੁੜੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਿਆਰ (ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵੇ) ਦੀ ਅਣਹੋਂਦ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਧੀਰਜ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਵੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸੱਜਣ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਮਨ-ਮੋਹਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਚੰਬੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ?ਨਾਹ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ, ਨਾਹ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ, ਨਾਹ ਧਨ, ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਭਦਾ ਇਕ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੈ। ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਧੰਧੇ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ (ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ) ਵਿਆਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ) ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਫਸ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਹੀ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ) ਮਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਭੀ ਕਰਮ ਇਥੇ ਕਰੀਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹ ਉੱਚੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਅੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ) ।ਪਿਆਰ-ਸਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਆਰੀ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਭਲੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ) ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ-ਰੱਜਵਾਂ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਨਸੀਬ ਹੋਵੇ। (ਰੁੱਤ ਫਿਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਚੁਫੇਰੇ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਪਈ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਪਰ) ਜਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਸਾਖ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਹਰੀ ਸੰਤ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ।3।BAARAH MAAHAA ~ THE TWELVE MONTHS: MAAJH, FIFTH MEHL, FOURTH HOUSE:ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU:In the month of Vaisaakh, how can the bride be patient? She is separated from her Beloved. She has forgotten the Lord, her Life-companion, her Master; she has become attached to Maya, the deceitful one. Neither son, nor spouse, nor wealth shall go along with you—only the Eternal Lord. Entangled and enmeshed in the love of false occupations, the whole world is perishing. Without the Naam, the Name of the One Lord, they lose their lives in the hereafter. Forgetting the Merciful Lord, they are ruined. Without God, there is no other at all. Pure is the reputation of those who are attached to the Feet of the Beloved Lord. DHANAASAREE, FIRST MEHL:I live by Your Name; my mind is in ecstasy, Lord. True is the Name of the True Lord. Glorious are the Praises of the Lord of the Universe. Infinite is the spiritual wisdom imparted by the Guru. The Creator Lord who created, shall also destroy. The call of death is sent out by the Lord’s Command; no one can challenge it. He Himself creates, and watches; His written command is above each and every head. He Himself imparts understanding and awareness. O Nanak, the Lord Master is inaccessible and unfathomable; I live by His True Name. || 1 || No one can compare to You, Lord; all come and go. By Your Command, the account is settled, and doubt is dispelled. The Guru dispels doubt, and makes us speak the Unspoken Speech; the true ones are absorbed into Truth. He Himself creates, and He Himself destroys; I accept the Command of the Commander Lord. True greatness comes from the Guru; You alone are the mind’s companion in the end. O Nanak, there is no other than the Lord and Master; greatness comes from Your Name. || 2 || You are the True Creator Lord, the unknowable Maker. There is only the One Lord and Master, but there are two paths, by which conflict increases. All follow these two paths, by the Hukam of the Lord’s Command; the world is born, only to die. Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the mortal has no friend at all; he carries loads of sin on his head. By the Hukam of the Lord’s Command, he comes, but he does not understand this Hukam; the Lord’s Hukam is the Embellisher. O Nanak, through the Shabad, the Word of the Lord and Master, the True Creator Lord is realized. || 3 || Your devotees look beautiful in Your Court, embellished with the Shabad. They chant the Ambrosial Word of His Bani, savoring it with their tongues. Savoring it with their tongues, they thirst for the Naam; they are a sacrifice to the Word of the Guru’s Shabad. Touching the philosopher’s stone, they become the philosopher’s stone, which transforms lead into gold; O Lord, they become pleasing to your mind. They attain the immortal status and eradicate their self-conceit; how rare is that person, who contemplates spiritual wisdom. O Nanak, the devotees look beautiful in the Court of the True Lord; they are dealers in the Truth. || 4 || I am hungry and thirsty for wealth; how will I be able to go to the Lord’s Court? I shall go and ask the True Guru, and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. I meditate on the True Name, chant the True Name, and as Gurmukh, I realize the True Name. Night and day, I chant the Name of the merciful, immaculate Lord, the Master of the poor. The Primal Lord has ordained the tasks to be done; self-conceit is overcome, and the mind is subdued. ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਬੈਰੀ ਸਗਲੇ ਸਾਧੇ ॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਬੈਰੀ ਹੈ ਇਹੁ ਜਗੁ ਲੂਟਿਆ ਤੇ ਬੈਰੀ ਲੈ ਬਾਧੇ ॥੧॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥ ਅਨਿਕ ਰਾਜ ਭੋਗ ਰਸ ਮਾਣੀ ਨਾਉ ਜਪੀ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ਤੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਚੀਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਸਿ ਦੂਜੀ ਬਾਤਾ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਰਖਵਾਰਾ ॥ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਰਹਤ ਹੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਇਕ ਨਾਮ ਕੈ ਆਧਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਇ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਊਨ ਨ ਕਾਈ ਬਾਤਾ ॥ ਤਤੁ ਸਾਰੁ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਛੋਡਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਤਾ ॥੩॥ ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਜੈਸਾ ਤੂ ਹੈ ਸਾਚੇ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥ ਅਤੁਲ ਅਥਾਹ ਅਡੋਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਖਸਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੫॥ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ (ਉਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ (ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਇਉਂ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਮੈਂ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਭੋਗ ਤੇ ਰਸ ਮਾਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ) ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਵੈਰੀ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ) ਜਿਸ ਜਿਸ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜਗਤ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ।੧।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਖਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ ਦਾ) ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਫੁਰਨਾ ਉਠਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਗ਼ਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਬੇ-ਪਰਵਾਹ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਉੱਚੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲੇ ਮੁਥਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ। ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਟਕਦਾ।੩।ਹੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਅਲੱਖ! ਹੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ! ਮੈਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਬੇ-ਮਿਸਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਅਥਾਹ! ਹੇ ਅਡੋਲ ਮਾਲਕ! ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਖਸਮ ਹੈਂ।੪।੫।RAAMKALEE, FIFTH MEHL:God has made me His own, and vanquished all my enemies. Those enemies who have plundered this world, have all been placed in bondage. || 1 || The True Guru is my Transcendent Lord. I enjoy countless pleasures of power and tasty delights, chanting Your Name, and placing my faith in You. || 1 || Pause || I do not think of any other at all. The Lord is my protector, above my head. I am carefree and independent, when I have the Support of Your Name, O my Lord and Master. || 2 || I have become perfect, meeting with the Giver of peace, and now, I lack nothing at all. The daily Hukamnama Sahib from Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar including English and Punjabi translation audio ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਹਮਰੀ ਬੇਦਨਿ ਤੂ ਜਾਨਤਾ ਸਾਹਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਕਿਆ ਜਾਨੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਚੁ ਸਭੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਝੂਠਾ ਕਿਸ ਕਉ ਆਖੀਐ ਸਾਹਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਸਭਨਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਤੂ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਸਾਹਾ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤਿ ॥ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਥਾਵਹੁ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਤੂ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਇਕ ਦਾਤਿ ॥੨॥ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਸਭਸ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥੩॥ ਸਭਨਾ ਕੀ ਤੂ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਖੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ॥੪॥੭॥੧੩॥ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਕੀ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?।ਰਹਾਉ।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਅਟੱਲ ਹੈਂ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ ਭੀ ਉਕਾਈ-ਹੀਣ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਊਣਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ) । ਹੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠਾ ਆਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।੧।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈਂ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹੀ (ਮੰਗਾਂ) ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।੨।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ, ਤੈਥੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਤੇ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੩।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਸਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਰੱਖ। ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।੪।੭।੧੩।DHANAASAREE, FOURTH MEHL:O my King, beholding the Blessed Vision of the Lord’s Darshan, I am at peace. ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਦਾਧੀ ਜਲਿ ਮੁਈ ਜਲਿ ਜਲਿ ਕਰੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੀਤਲ ਜੇ ਮਿਲੈ ਫਿਰਿ ਜਲੈ ਨ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਿਣੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਜਿਚਰੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਨ ਕਰੇ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਅਰਥ: ਦੁਨੀਆ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਸਾੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਸੜ ਸੜ ਕੇ ਵਿਲਕ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ; ਜੇ ਇਹ ਠੰਡ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ, ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਨਾਹ ਸੜੇ; (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਦ ਤਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਾਹ ਕਰੇ ਤਦ ਤਕ (ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ, ਤੇ) ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਭੀ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਦਾ (ਇਹ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਮ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ।੧।ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਭੇਖੀ ਅਗਨਿ ਨ ਬੁਝਈ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੈ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ ਵਰਮੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਸਾਪੁ ਨਾ ਮਰੈ ਤਿਉ ਨਿਗੁਰੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਬੁਝਾਇ ॥ ਸੁਖਾ ਸਿਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ਜਾ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਜਿ ਸਚਿ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਜਾ ਆਘਾਇ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹ ਛੂਟੀਐ ਹਉਮੈ ਪਚਹਿ ਪਚਾਇ ॥੨॥ ਅਰਥ: ਭੇਖ ਧਾਰਿਆਂ (ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ) ਅੱਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੁੱਝਦੀ, ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਟਿਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੱਪ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਡ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਸੱਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਦਾ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਮਿਟਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਬੁੱਝਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ) । ਜੇ (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ) ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਾਰ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮਨ ਤਨ ਠੰਢਾ ਠਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ; (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ) ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੀ (ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਵਲੋਂ) ਤਿਆਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੱਜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੀਦਾ, (ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਜੀਵ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਏ ਸੜਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ਜਿਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨੀ ਪਾਇਅੜੇ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ॥ ਸਭੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਤਿਨਾ ਕਾ ਸਫਲੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਮਨਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਭੁਖਾ ॥ ਜਿਨੀ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਚਨਿ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਵਿਸਰਿ ਗਏ ਸਭਿ ਦੁਖਾ ॥ ਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਭਲੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਚਿੰਤ ਪਰਾਈ ਚੁਖਾ ॥ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਤਿਨਾ ਕਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਫਲ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਗੇ ਮੁਖਾ ॥੬॥ ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, 'ਨਾਮ' ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) । ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।ਉਹ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਚੰਗੇ ਸੰਤ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਰਤਾ ਭੀ ਆਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖੀ; ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਭੀ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ, ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਰੂਪ) ਅਮਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ) ।੬।SHALOK, THIRD MEHL:Consumed by desire, the world is burning and dying; burning and burning, it screams. But if it meets with the cooling and soothing True Guru, it does not burn any longer. O Nanak, without the Name, and without contemplating the Word of the Shabad, no one becomes fearless. || 1 || THIRD MEHL: Wearing ceremonial robes, the fire is not quenched, and the mind is filled with anxiety. Destroying the snake’s hole, the snake is not killed; it is just like doing deeds without a Guru. Serving the Giver, the True Guru, the Word of the Shabad comes to abide in the mind. The mind and body are cooled and soothed; peace ensues, and the fire of desire is quenched. The greatest comforts and lasting peace are obtained, when one eradicates selfishness from within. He alone becomes a detached Gurmukh, who lovingly focuses his awareness on the True Lord. Anxiety does not affect him at all; he is satisfied and satiated with the Name of the Lord. O Nanak, without the Naam, no one is saved; they are utterly ruined by egotism. || 2 || PAUREE: Those who meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, obtain all peace and comforts. Fruitful is the entire life of those, who feel hunger for the Name of the Lord in their minds. Those who worship and adore the Lord through the Guru’s Word, forget all their pain and suffering. Those Gursikhs are good Saints, who care for nothing other than the Lord. ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਰਦਾਨਾ ੧ ॥ ਕਲਿ ਕਲਵਾਲੀ ਕਾਮੁ ਮਦੁ ਮਨੂਆ ਪੀਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਟੋਰੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਭਰੀ ਪੀਲਾਵਾ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ ਮਜਲਸ ਕੂੜੇ ਲਬ ਕੀ ਪੀ ਪੀ ਹੋਇ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥ ਕਰਣੀ ਲਾਹਣਿ ਸਤੁ ਗੁੜੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਰੁ ॥ ਗੁਣ ਮੰਡੇ ਕਰਿ ਸੀਲੁ ਘਿਉ ਸਰਮੁ ਮਾਸੁ ਆਹਾਰੁ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਖਾਧੈ ਜਾਹਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥੧॥ ਨੋਟ: ਭਾ: ਮਰਦਾਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਚਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਨਾਨਕ' ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਵਰਤ ਸਕਦਾ। ਸਲੋਕ ਮ: ੧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਦਾਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤਿੰਨੇ ਹੀ ਸਲੋਕ ਮ: ੧ ਦੇ ਹਨ।ਅਰਥ: ਕਲਜੁਗੀ ਸੁਭਾਉ (ਮਾਨੋ) (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੀ) ਮੱਟੀ ਹੈ; ਕਾਮ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲਾ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਹੈ, ਮੋਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਕਟੋਰੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਪਿਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਕੂੜੇ ਲੱਬ ਦੀ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਮਜਲਸ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਬਹਿ ਕੇ) ਮਨ (ਕਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਨੂੰ) ਪੀ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਆਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਚੰਗੀ ਕਰਣੀ ਨੂੰ (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੀ) ਲਾਹਣ, ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਨੂੰ ਗੁੜ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਬਣਾ। ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਡੇ, ਸੀਤਲ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਨੂੰ ਘਿਉ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਸ-(ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ) ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਬਣਾ; ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਖਾਧਿਆਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੧।ਮਰਦਾਨਾ ੧ ॥ ਕਾਇਆ ਲਾਹਣਿ ਆਪੁ ਮਦੁ ਮਜਲਸ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਧਾਤੁ ॥ ਮਨਸਾ ਕਟੋਰੀ ਕੂੜਿ ਭਰੀ ਪੀਲਾਏ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ॥ ਇਤੁ ਮਦਿ ਪੀਤੈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਖਟੀਅਹਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਗੁੜੁ ਸਾਲਾਹ ਮੰਡੇ ਭਉ ਮਾਸੁ ਆਹਾਰੁ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਸਚੁ ਹੈ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ਅਰਥ: ਸਰੀਰ (ਮਾਨੋ) (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਮਗਰੀ ਸਮੇਤ) ਮੱਟੀ ਹੈ, ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ, ਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਣਾ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਮਹਿਫ਼ਲ ਹੈ, ਕੂੜ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਾਸ਼ਨਾਂ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਕਟੋਰੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜਮ ਕਾਲ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਪਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਸ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੀਤਿਆਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਖੱਟੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਕੂੜ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ) ।ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਗੁੜ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਡਰ ਮਾਸ-ਇਹ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸੱਚਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ) ਆਸਰਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।ਕਾਂਯਾਂ ਲਾਹਣਿ ਆਪੁ ਮਦੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਧਾਰ ॥ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਮੇਲਾਪੁ ਹੋਇ ਲਿਵ ਕਟੋਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਭਰੀ ਪੀ ਪੀ ਕਟਹਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥੩॥ (ਜੇ) ਸਰੀਰ ਮੱਟੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਆਪੇ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ) ਅਮਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਹੋਵੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਮਜਲਸ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੋਵੇ) , ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ (ਨਾਮ) ਦੀ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਲਿਵ (ਰੂਪ) ਕਟੋਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ, (ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ) (ਇਸ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਨੂੰ) ਪੀ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਪਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।੧।ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬਾ ਆਪੇ ਖਟ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਆਪੇ ਸਿਵ ਸੰਕਰ ਮਹੇਸਾ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥ ਆਪੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਆਪੇ ਭੋਗੀ ਆਪੇ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਫਿਰੈ ਬਿਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਆਪੈ ਨਾਲਿ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਆਪਿ ਉਪਦੇਸੈ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸਰੂਪੁ ਸਿਆਣੀ ॥ ਆਪਣਾ ਚੋਜੁ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਆਪੇ ਆਪੇ ਸਭਨਾ ਜੀਆ ਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਣੀ ॥੧੨॥ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਮਨੁੱਖ, (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ) ਗਣ, ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਛੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੋਲੀ (ਬਨਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਿਵ, ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਤੇ ਮਹੇਸ਼ (ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ) ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਕੱਥ ਸਰੂਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ (ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) , ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੋਗ ਦੀ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭੋਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਵਿਰਤ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਉਜਾੜਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿਆਣੀ ਮਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣਾ ਕੌਤਕ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।੧੨।SHALOK, MARDAANAA 1:The Dark Age of Kali Yuga is the vessel, filled with the wine of sex; the mind is the drinker. Anger is the cup, filled with emotional attachment; egotism is the bartender. Drinking too much in the company of falsehood and greed, one is ruined. So let good deeds be your distillery, and let Truth be the molasses you ferment; make the most excellent wine of Truth. Make virtue your bread, good conduct the ghee, and modesty the dish of meat. As Gurmukh, these are obtained, O Nanak; consuming them, evil and corruption depart. || 1 || MARDAANAA: The body is the bottle, self-conceit is the wine, and desire is the company of drinking buddies. The glass of the mind’s longing is filled to overflowing with falsehood; the Messenger of Death is the bartender. Drinking in this wine, O Nanak, one takes on countless vices and corruption. So make spiritual wisdom your molasses, and the Praise of God your bread; let the Fear of God be the dish of meat. O Nanak, this is the true food; let the True Name be your only Support. || 2 || If the human body is the pitcher, and self-realization is the wine, then the Ambrosial Nectar streams down. Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, the glass of the Lord’s Love is filled with this Ambrosial Nectar; drinking it in, one’s evil and corruption are eradicated. || 3 || PAUREE: He Himself is the angelic being, the heavenly herald, and the celestial singer. He Himself is the one who explains the six schools of philosophy. He Himself is Shiva, Shankara and Mahaysh; He Himself is the Gurmukh, who speaks the Unspoken Speech. He Himself is the Yogi, He Himself is the Enjoyer of pleasures, and He Himself is the Sannyaasee, wandering through the wilderness. He discusses with Himself, and He teaches Himself; He Himself is discrete, graceful and wise. ਜੈਤਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਘਰੁ ੧ ਚਉਪਦੇੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ਮੇਰੈ ਹੀਅਰੈ ਰਤਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਸਿਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਹਾਥੁ ਧਰਿਓ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਾਥਾ ॥ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਦੁਖ ਉਤਰੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਰਿਨੁ ਲਾਥਾ ॥੧॥ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਭਜੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਭਿ ਅਰਥਾ ॥ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਬਿਰਥਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਮੂੜ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਨਿਤ ਫਾਥਾ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਚਰਣ ਨ ਸੇਵੇ ਕਬਹੂ ਤਿਨ ਸਭੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਅਕਾਥਾ ॥੨॥ ਜਿਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਚਰਣ ਸਾਧ ਪਗ ਸੇਵੇ ਤਿਨ ਸਫਲਿਓ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਨਾਥਾ ॥ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕੀਜੈ ਦਾਸੁ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਸਨ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਦਇਆ ਧਾਰਿ ਜਗੰਨਾਥਾ ॥੩॥ ਹਮ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਗਿਆਨਹੀਨ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਿਉ ਚਾਲਹ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਪੰਥਾ ॥ ਹਮ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਕਉ ਗੁਰ ਅੰਚਲੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਚਲਹ ਮਿਲੰਥਾ ॥੪॥੧॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਸਦਾ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਸਾਰੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ (ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ) । (ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਰਹੁ) ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਪੱਕਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇ, ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਚਲੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ।(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਦੋਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਰਤਨ (ਵਰਗਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ) ਨਾਮ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ, (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰੋਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ) ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਉਤਰ ਗਿਆ।੧।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ (ਦੀ ਸਰਨ) ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੋਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਖਸਮ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ! ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਸ ਬਣਾ ਲੈ।੩।ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਅਸੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਜੁਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅੰਨਿ੍ਹਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਫੜਾ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ ਅਸੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਸਕੀਏ।੪।੧।JAITSREE, FOURTH MEHL, FIRST HOUSE, CHAU-PADAS:ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. Make me the slave of the slave of the slaves of the Lord; bless me with Your Mercy, O Lord of the Universe. || 3 || I am blind, ignorant and totally without wisdom; how can I walk on the Path? The daily Hukamnama sahib from sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar including Punjabi and English translation audio ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੂੰਦ ਭਏ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਬਿਲਲ ਬਿਲਲਾਤੀ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਮਖਾਤੀ ॥੧॥ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਰਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਉ ਇਕ ਰਾਤੀ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਮਲੈ ਅਮਲੀ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਈ ਹੈ ਤਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਮ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਤੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਤੁਮ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਵਰ ਅਤਿ ਅਗਾਹ ਹਮ ਲਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਹਿ ਅੰਤੁ ਮਾਤੀ ॥ ਤੂ ਪਰੈ ਪਰੈ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਿਤਿ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਆਪਨ ਗਾਤੀ ॥੨॥ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਗੁਰ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ ਰਾਤੀ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਬਨੀ ਅਤਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਊਤਮ ਪਾਤੀ ॥੩॥ ਆਪੇ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਆਪਿ ਬਨਾਵੈ ਭਾਤੀ ॥ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਲਾਜ ਭਗਾਤੀ ॥੪॥੫॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਸਮੇ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਰਹਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ। ਜਿਵੇਂ (ਅਫ਼ੀਮ ਆਦਿਕ) ਨਸ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਮਲੀ (ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਆਦੀ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੜਫ਼ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਘਬਰਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਮੈਂ ਪਪੀਹਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ-ਬੂੰਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤੜਫ਼ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। (ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ) , ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ (ਸ੍ਵਾਂਤੀ-) ਬੂੰਦ ਬਣ ਜਾਏ। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪਣੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ਝਮਕਣ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸਮੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ (ਆਪਣੀ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ੍ਵਾਂਤੀ) ਬੂੰਦ ਪਾ ਦੇ।੧। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ (ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ) ਬੜਾ ਹੀ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈਂ, ਅਸੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭ ਸਕਦੇ। ਤੂੰ ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਕਿਤਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈਂ-ਇਹ ਭੇਤ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ।੨। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ, ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ (ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ ਹੋਏ) ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਗਏ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਬੜੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਮਿਲੀ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਮ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ।੩। ਪਰ, ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਓਂਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਢੋ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਢੁਕਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) , ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ।੪।੫। DHANAASAREE, FOURTH MEHL: The Lord, Har, Har, is the rain-drop; I am the song-bird, crying, crying out for it. O Lord God, please bless me with Your Mercy, and pour Your Name into my mouth, even if for only an instant. || 1 || Without the Lord, I cannot live for even a second. Like the addict who dies without his drug, I die without the Lord. || Pause || You, Lord, are the deepest, most unfathomable ocean; I cannot find even a trace of Your limits. You are the most remote of the remote, limitless and transcendent; O Lord Master, You alone know Your state and extent. || 2 || The Lord’s humble Saints meditate on the Lord; they are imbued with the deep crimson color of the Guru’s Love. Meditating on the Lord, they attain great glory, and the most sublime honor. || 3 || He Himself is the Lord and Master, and He Himself is the servant; He Himself creates His environments. ਟੋਡੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰਾ ॥ ਸਹਜਿ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਅੰਕੁਰੁ ਭਲੋ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਬਡਭਾਗੀ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰਾ ॥ ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਲੀਓ ਜਨੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਬਿਖੁ ਸਾਗਰ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਕਾਟੇ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਸੰਕਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਨਿ ਗਹੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੀ ਪੁਨਹ ਪੁਨਹ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੯॥੨੮॥ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ) ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ) ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਫੁੱਟ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਹਸਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਰਲਾ ਪਾਰਲਾ ਬੰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ (ਉਸਦਾ) ਹੱਥ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਵਿਹੁਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ) ਵੱਡੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰਿਆਂ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਫਾਹੀਆਂ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ-ਭਰੇ ਚੌਰਾਸੀ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਮੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ) ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।੨।੯।੨੭।TODEE, FIFTH MEHL:In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I contemplate the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. I am in peaceful poise and bliss, day and night; the seed of my destiny has sprouted. || Pause || I have met the True Guru, by great good fortune; He has no end or limitation. Taking His humble servant by the hand, He pulls him out of the poisonous world-ocean. || 1 || Birth and death are ended for me, by the Word of the Guru’s Teachings; I shall no longer pass through the door of pain and suffering. The daily Hukamnama sahib from Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar including Punjabi and English translation audio ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੁਹ ਫਿਰੇ ਸੇ ਬਧੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਹਾਹਿ ॥ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਮਿਲਣੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਨੀ ਜੰਮਹਿ ਤੈ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥ ਸਹਸਾ ਰੋਗੁ ਨ ਛੋਡਈ ਦੁਖ ਹੀ ਮਹਿ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਹਿ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੇਹਿ ਸਬਦੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਅਰਥ: ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਲੋਂ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਹਨ, ਉਹ (ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ) ਬੱਧੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ, ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਜੰਮਦੇ ਤੇ ਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ, ਸਦਾ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ-ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਲਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੧। ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਮੁਹ ਫਿਰੇ ਤਿਨਾ ਠਉਰ ਨ ਠਾਉ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਛੁਟੜਿ ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਫਿਰੈ ਦੁਹਚਾਰਣਿ ਬਦਨਾਉ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬਖਸੀਅਹਿ ਸੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਉ ॥੨॥ ਅਰਥ: ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਹ ਥਾਂ ਨਾਹ ਥਿੱਤਾ; ਉਹ ਵਿਭ-ਚਾਰਨ ਛੁੱਟੜ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਘਰ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਫਿਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੨। ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ਜੋ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਤਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਸੇ ਭਵਜਲ ਤਰਿ ਗਇਆ ॥ ਜੋ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ਤਿਨ ਜਮੁ ਛਡਿ ਗਇਆ ॥ ਸੇ ਦਰਗਹ ਪੈਧੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਜਿਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਲਇਆ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸੇਈ ਪੁਰਖ ਜਿਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਮਇਆ ॥ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਿਤ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭਉ ਗਇਆ ॥੭॥ ਅਰਥ: ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੱਚੇ ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਂਵਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਮ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਸਨਮਾਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; (ਪਰ) ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭਰਮ ਤੇ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ) ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾਂ।੭। SHALOK THIRD MEHL: Those who turn their faces away from the True Guru, suffer in sorrow and bondage. Again and again, they are born only to die; they cannot meet their Lord. The disease of doubt does not depart, and they find only pain and more pain. O Nanak, if the Gracious Lord forgives, then one is united in Union with the Word of the Shabad. || 1 || THIRD MEHL: Those who turn their faces away from the True Guru, shall find no place of rest or shelter. They wander around from door to door, like a woman forsaken, with a bad character and a bad reputation. O Nanak, the Gurmukhs are forgiven, and united in Union with the True Guru. || 2 || PAUREE: Those who serve the True Lord, the Destroyer of ego, cross over the terrifying world-ocean. Those who chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, are passed over by the Messenger of Death. Those who meditate on the Lord, go to His Court in robes of honor. They alone serve You, O Lord, whom You bless with Grace. The daily Hukamnama Sahib from Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar including English and Punjabi translation audio ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਹਮਰੀ ਬੇਦਨਿ ਤੂ ਜਾਨਤਾ ਸਾਹਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਕਿਆ ਜਾਨੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਚੁ ਸਭੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਝੂਠਾ ਕਿਸ ਕਉ ਆਖੀਐ ਸਾਹਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਸਭਨਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਤੂ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਸਾਹਾ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤਿ ॥ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਥਾਵਹੁ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਤੂ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਇਕ ਦਾਤਿ ॥੨॥ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਸਭਸ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਾ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥੩॥ ਸਭਨਾ ਕੀ ਤੂ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਖੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ॥੪॥੭॥੧੩॥ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਕੀ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?।ਰਹਾਉ।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਅਟੱਲ ਹੈਂ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ ਭੀ ਉਕਾਈ-ਹੀਣ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਊਣਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ) । ਹੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠਾ ਆਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।੧।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈਂ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹੀ (ਮੰਗਾਂ) ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।੨।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ, ਤੈਥੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਤੇ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੩।ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਸਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਰੱਖ। ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।੪।੭।੧੩।DHANAASAREE, FOURTH MEHL:O my King, beholding the Blessed Vision of the Lord’s Darshan, I am at peace. You alone know my inner pain, O King; what can anyone else know? || Pause || O True Lord and Master, You are truly my King; whatever You do, all that is True. Who should I call a liar? ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਜਿਸ ਕਉ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤਿ ਦਾਤਾ ਸੋਈ ਗਨਹੁ ਅਭਾਗਾ ॥ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਗਿਓ ਅਮਿਅ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਪਾਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਤੇਰਾ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਜਾਗਾ ॥ ਆਲਸੁ ਛੀਜਿ ਗਇਆ ਸਭੁ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਜਹ ਜਹ ਪੇਖਉ ਤਹ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸਗਲ ਘਟਾ ਮਹਿ ਤਾਗਾ ॥ ਨਾਮ ਉਦਕੁ ਪੀਵਤ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਆਗੇ ਸਭਿ ਅਨੁਰਾਗਾ ॥੨॥੧੬॥੪੭॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਦਾ) ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਆਲਸ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ, (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਦ-ਕਿਸਮਤ ਸਮਝੋ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਸਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਕੋਮਲ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ (ਭੀ) ਜਿਧਰ ਜਿਧਰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਥੇ ਉਥੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਧਾਗਾ (ਸਾਰੇ ਮਣਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੋਇਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) । ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਪੀਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੋਹ-ਪਿਆਰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੨।੧੯।੪੭।DHANAASAREE, FIFTH MEHL:One who forgets the Lord of life, the Great Giver — know that he is most unfortunate. One whose mind is in love with the Lord’s lotus feet, obtains the pool of ambrosial nectar. || 1 || Your humble servant awakes in the Love of the Lord’s Name. All laziness has departed from his body, and his mind is attached to the Beloved Lord. || Pause || Wherever I look, the Lord is there; He is the string, upon which all hearts are strung. ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਸੰਤ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੰਤ ਟਹਲ ਕਰੀ ॥ ਧੰਧੁ ਬੰਧੁ ਅਰੁ ਸਗਲ ਜੰਜਾਰੋ ਅਵਰ ਕਾਜ ਤੇ ਛੂਟਿ ਪਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਅਰੁ ਘਨੋ ਅਨੰਦਾ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਇਓ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰੀ ॥ ਐਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਉਲਟਿ ਧਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਪੇਖਿਓ ਮੋਹਨੁ ਸਭ ਕੈ ਸੰਗੇ ਊਨ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਸਗਲ ਭਰੀ ॥ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਰੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਪਰੀ ॥੨॥੭॥੯੩॥ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ, (ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਧੰਧਾ, ਬੰਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਜੰਜਾਲ (ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ) , ਮੇਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਟੰਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ (ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ) । ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਜੇਹਾ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਰਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।੧।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਸੋਹਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਥਾਂ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ, ਸਾਰੀ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰੌ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਦਿੱਸ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦਿੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।੨।੭।੯੩।BILAAVAL, FIFTH MEHL:I seek the Sanctuary of the Saints, and I serve the Saints. I am rid of all worldly concerns, bonds, entanglements and other affairs. || 1 || Pause || I have obtained peace, poise and great bliss from the Guru, through the Lord’s Name. Such is the sublime essence of the Lord, that I cannot describe it. The Perfect Guru has turned me away from the world. || 1 || I behold the Fascinating Lord with everyone. (ਇਸ ਨੇ) ਇਹਨਾਂ (ਕੱਚੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ) ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ (ਇਸ ਨੇ) ਭੁਲਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।੨।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਪੂਛਲ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ (ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਲੋਂ ਲਾ-ਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਹਟਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ) ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪਣੇ) ਮੁੱਢ-ਕਦੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ (ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸੁਭਾਵ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖ (ਮੇਰੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।੩।੯।SORAT’H, NINTH MEHL:In this world, I have not found any true friend. The whole world is attached to its own pleasures, and when trouble comes, no one is with you. || 1 || Pause || Wives, friends, children and relatives — all are attached to wealth. When they see a poor man, they all forsake his company and run away. || 1 || So what should I say to this crazy mind, which is affectionately attached to them? The daily Hukamnama Sahib from Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar including translation in English and Punjabi audio ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਸੇਖਾ ਚਉਚਕਿਆ ਚਉਵਾਇਆ ਏਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਇਕਤੁ ਘਰਿ ਆਣਿ ॥ ਏਹੜ ਤੇਹੜ ਛਡਿ ਤੂ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਛਾਣੁ ॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਚੁਕਾਏ ਸ਼ੇਖ਼! ਇਸ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਲਿਆ; ਵਿੰਗੀਆਂ ਟੇਢੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਅਗੈ ਢਹਿ ਪਉ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਜਾਣੁ ॥ ਆਸਾ ਮਨਸਾ ਜਲਾਇ ਤੂ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੁ ਮਿਹਮਾਣੁ ॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਭੀ ਚਲਹਿ ਤਾ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਾਣੁ ॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਸ਼ੇਖਾ! ਜੋ (ਸਭ ਦਾ) ਜਾਣੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗ; ਆਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਮਿਟਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਾਹੁਣਾ ਸਮਝ; ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਰ ਪਾਵੇਂਗਾ। ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਨੀ ਤਿਨ ਧਿਗੁ ਪੈਨਣੁ ਧਿਗੁ ਖਾਣੁ ॥੧॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ (ਚੰਗਾ) ਖਾਣਾ ਤੇ (ਚੰਗਾ) ਪਹਿਨਣਾ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ।੧। ਮਃ ੩ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਰਵਹਿ ਗੁਣ ਮਹਿ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੨॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 646} ਅਰਥ: ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਹ ਗੁਣ ਮੁੱਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਹਾਝਣ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਲ ਕੀਹ ਹੈ; (ਪਰ,) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਜੀਊੜੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ) ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।੨। ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਚੋਲੀ ਦੇਹ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਕਢਿ ਪੈਧੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਿ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਟੁ ਲਗਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਈ ਬਹੁ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕਰਿ ॥ ਕੋਈ ਬੂਝੈ ਬੂਝਣਹਾਰਾ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਿਬੇਕੁ ਕਰਿ ॥ ਸੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਏਹੁ ਬਿਬੇਕੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ॥ ਅਰਥ: (ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ) ਸਰੀਰ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਚੋਲੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਭਗਤੀ (-ਰੂਪ ਕਸੀਦਾ) ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਚੋਲੀ ਪਹਿਨਣ-ਜੋਗ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ। (ਇਸ ਚੋਲੀ ਨੂੰ) ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਈ ਵੰਨਗੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਰੀ-ਨਾਮ ਪੱਟ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ; (ਇਸ ਭੇਤ ਨੂੰ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਸਮਝਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਸਮਝਾਵੇ। ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਤਿ ਹਰਿ ॥੧੧॥ ਅਰਥ: ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ) ।੧੧। SHALOK, THIRD MEHL: O Shaykh, you wander in the four directions, blown by the four winds; bring your mind back to the home of the One Lord. Renounce your petty arguments, and realize the Word of the Guru’s Shabad. Bow in humble respect before the True Guru; He is the Knower who knows everything. Burn away your hopes and desires, and live like a guest in this world. If you walk in harmony with the True Guru’s Will, then you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord. O Nanak, those who do not contemplate the Naam, the Name of the Lord — cursed are their clothes, and cursed is their food. || 1 || THIRD MEHL: There is no end to the Lord’s Glorious Praises; His worth cannot be described. O Nanak, the Gurmukhs chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord; they are absorbed in His Glorious Virtues. || 2 || PAUREE: The Lord has adorned the coat of the body; He has embroidered it with devotional worship. The Lord has woven His silk into it, in so many ways and fashions. How rare is that man of understanding, who understands, and deliberates within. He alone understands these deliberations, whom the Lord Himself inspires to understand. The daily Hukamnama Sahib from Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar including English and Punjabi translation audio ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਪਾਨੀ ਪਖਾ ਪੀਸਉ ਸੰਤ ਆਗੈ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਈ ॥ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਮਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੈ ਇਹੁ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਰਹੁ ਦਇਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਈ ॥ ਐਸੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੀਜੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇ ਮੋਹੁ ਮਾਨੁ ਛੂਟੈ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਜਾਇ ਭਰਮਾਈ ॥ ਅਨਦ ਰੂਪੁ ਰਵਿਓ ਸਭ ਮਧੇ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਜਾਈ ॥੨॥ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਦਇਆਲ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਗੋਸਾਈ ॥ ਕੋਟਿ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਰਾਜ ਪਾਏ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਨਿਮਖ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥੩॥ ਜਾਪ ਤਾਪ ਭਗਤਿ ਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਈ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਸਭ ਬੁਝੀ ਹੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਈ ॥੪॥੧੦॥ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ) ਦਇਆ ਕਰ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਅਕਲ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ) ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰੇ) ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ (ਰਹਿ ਕੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਪਾਣੀ (ਢੋਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੱਖਾ (ਝੱਲਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਟਾ) ਪੀਂਹਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਤੇ, ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ (ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾਮ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂ ਜੋ ਸੁਖ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ।੧।ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ (ਮੇਰਾ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਏ, ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਮੇਰੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਮੈਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੇਖਾਂ, ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਨੰਦ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਦਿੱਸੇਂ।੨।ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਖਸਮ! ਤੂੰ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੈਂ, ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਖ ਝਮਕਣ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸਮੇ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਰਾਜ-ਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣ ਲਏ ਹਨ।੩।ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹੀ ਜਾਪ ਤਾਪ ਉਹੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਸਿਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੀ ਜਾਣੋ, ਜੇਹੜੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਪੂਰੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।੪।੧੦।DHANAASAREE, FIFTH MEHL:I carry the water, wave the fan, and grind the corn for the Saints; I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe. With each and every breath, my mind remembers the Naam, the Name of the Lord; in this way, it finds the treasure of peace. || 1 || Have pity on me, O my Lord and Master. Bless me with such understanding, O my Lord and Master, that I may forever and ever meditate on You. || 1 || Pause || By Your Grace, emotional attachment and egotism are eradicated, and doubt is dispelled. The Lord, the embodiment of bliss, is pervading and permeating in all; wherever I go, there I see Him. || 2 || You are kind and compassionate, the treasure of mercy, the Purifier of sinners, Lord of the world. I obtain millions of joys, comforts and kingdoms, if You inspire me to chant Your Name with my mouth, even for an instant. || 3 || That alone is perfect chanting, meditation, penance and devotional worship service, which is pleasing to God’s Mind. ਸਲੋਕ ॥ ਮਨ ਇਛਾ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਣੰ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਆਸਾ ਪੂਰਨਹ ॥ ਖੰਡਣੰ ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸਹ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਹ ਦੂਰਣਹ ॥੧॥ ਹਭਿ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣਹਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੈ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਈਐ ਨੇਹੁ ॥ ਸੋ ਸਹੁ ਬਿੰਦ ਨ ਵਿਸਰਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਿ ਸੁੰਦਰੁ ਰਚਿਆ ਦੇਹੁ ॥੨॥ ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਦੀਆ ਦੀਨੇ ਰਸ ਭੋਗ ॥ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਰਥ ਅਸੁ ਦੀਏ ਰਚਿ ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥ ਸੁਤ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਸਾਜਨ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੇਵਨ ਜੋਗ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਵਿਜੋਗ ॥ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਰਮਹੁ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ॥੩॥ ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਨ-ਮੰਨੀਆਂ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਥਾਂ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਆਸਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਸਾਡੇ ਝਗੜੇ ਤੇ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ, ਉਹ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।੧।ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੌਜਾਂ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਜੋੜ। ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਰੱਬ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਨਾਹ ਭੁੱਲੇ।੨। (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਜਿੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਧਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਸੁਆਦਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਭੋਗਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਤੇਰੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਗ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਮਕਾਨ, ਰਥ ਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣ-ਜੋਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਵਹੁਟੀ ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਖਿੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਸਤਸੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ) ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੩।SHALOKHe grants our hearts’ desires, and fulfills all our hopes. He destroys pain and suffering; remember God in meditation, O Nanak — He is not far away. || 1 || Love Him, with whom you enjoy all pleasures. Do not forget that Lord, even for an instant; O Nanak, He fashioned this beautiful body. || 2 || PAUREE: He gave you your soul, breath of life, body and wealth; He gave you pleasures to enjoy. He gave you households, mansions, chariots and horses; He ordained your good destiny. He gave you your children, spouse, friends and servants; God is the all-powerful Great Giver. Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, the body and mind are rejuvenated, and sorrow departs.
