Most of women’s pregnancy journeys are spent thinking about the birth. Time, money and planning goes into this event and how it will unfold. Inevitably as many first time mums come to realize, birth is just the stepping stone into Motherhood, and is usually an experience that unfolds in its own unique way.
Beyond your birth is a period of unchartered territory, typically one that is given little thought or planning. Many first time parents are left feeling as though they have arrived in their new reality via a baptism of fire, with little to no understanding of what really goes into parenting a newborn and beyond.
Words like ‘awake windows, nipple shields, and winding’ all sound so foreign, and understanding how much and how often to feed a newborn seems like an impossible question to answer. But what if we could change that? What if beyond your birth you felt confident about what feeding a newborn entails, equipped to tackle awake windows and settling a baby to sleep, and prepared to handle the stages of development to come?
Beyond Birth’s mission is to bridge this gap of knowledge and change the outlook for so many new mums and parents. We want you to walk into the space beyond birth filled with the knowledge to take ownership of your journey.
