In this episode, I interview Jennifer Fiske, M.S., R.D.N., L.D.Jennifer Fiske, M.S., R.D.N., L.D., is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a dynamic background and wealth ofexperience. She has worked with youth and adult elite athletes to improve athletic performance, including a professional sports team. As a clinical dietitian, she collaborated with peers to improve the quality of evidence based practices and patient care.
Jenn was the first health education coordinatorat DFW Airport’s LiveWell program, where she coached clients for improved job performance, disease management and quality of life. She built custom programs for employee resource groups and crafted communications for airport-wide media.
As the wellness coordinator for the Frisco Independent School District, Jenn opened onsite and virtual health clinics that provide acute care at no cost to employees. She gave tailored nutrition presentations to employees and high school athletes, established mobile mammography and educated about employee resources including coaching, financial and mental well-being programs.
Jenn currently works in product management andsupports her community with her nutrition and wellness expertise.

In this episode, I interview Nema McGlynn.
Néma McGlynn is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with extensive experience in the healthcare, research and food and beverage industries. As the Manager, R&D for Enhanced Medical Nutrition (EMN), Néma leads projects expanding toclinical research, product development, nutrition education training, recruitment and onboarding.
Through her MSc in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto, Néma learned how to conduct high-quality evidence syntheses to inform dietary and clinical practiceguidelines. She uses these skills to manage 16 clinical trials that utilize EMN's medical food products to assess their impact on clinical outcomes among patients undergoing surgery.
In the realm of product development, Néma collaborates with food scientists and ingredient suppliers to create evidence-based nutrition products. She then works closely with sales and marketing to produce knowledge translation resources that educate healthcare professionals and patients on the science behind these products, and how they were designed to support recovery from surgery.
Néma loves collaborating with teams to work on problems that provide impactful solutions to complex problems. In her downtime, she enjoys discovering new culinary delights, pushing herself physically through various fitness endeavors, listening to podcasts and going on adventures with familyand friends.

She has also volunteered for the Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and hasserved as Membership Chair, Public Policy Chair, and Past President.

Drew is also a lecturer and advisor for Buffalo State University's Multidisciplinary Studies, Nutrition Track graduate program.
Throughout his 10 years in leadership and volunteering, he has served on committees in practice regulation, competence assessment, professional development, practice resource management, and program planning. Drew is an invited speaker for over 50 national,state and regional dietetic affiliate conferences, dietetic practice and member interest group symposiums, and allied practitioner events. His lectures and workshops cover an array of important practitioner topics, includinginstructional design and education planning, professional practice in communications and social media, and most recently, A.I. in dietetics practice.

Deanne Brandstetter, M.B.A., R.D. has over thirty years of experience in the food and nutrition business. As Vice President ofNutrition & Wellness for Compass Group, North America, she leads a team that coordinates wellness programs for foodservice clients and develops innovative & award winning cross sector nutrition & wellness initiatives. She also directed the nutrition program for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah as part of the Compass Olympics Lead Management Team.
Deanne’s marketing background and passion for great food has fueled her goal of creatively translating medical and nutrition science into innovative exciting food concepts for Compass Group customers.
She earned an American Culinary Federation Silver medal for Healthy Cuisine, and has presented at meetings in the US and globally. Deanne is a Culinary Institute of America Fellow, was amember of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Sustainable Food Systems Roundtable and Task Force on Menu Labeling, Past-Chair of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nominating Committee, member of the Academy Diversity Committee, Past-Chairof Dietitians in Business & Communications and 2022-23 Treasurer of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics; co-chair of the CIA Healthy Menus R&D Collaborative and is serving as a WELL Nourishment concept advisor. She also serves on the Advisory Board to the Dean of the School of Education, Health and Society at Miami University. She was awarded a WELL Community Award in 2021 and the Dietitians in Business & Communications Outstanding Leaderin 2022.
