18 year old Jacob Williamson of South Carolina had a troubled existence. He knew he ddin't feel comfortable in the female body he was assigned to at birth. Jacob always felt like a boy not a girl. Towards the end of his teen years, he began transitioning into the male he always knew he was. His birth family, not really ever understanding gender dysphoria somewhat shunned Jacob. So Jacob went to live with a family friend. Finally, Jacob was in an environment where he felt safe and loved. He got himself a job and started a romantic relationship online with a 25 year old man just across the border in North Carolina. True Crime Quickie is from Texas, the murder of Inez Santa Cruz.

14 year old Breck Bednar of the U.K. started to get into a dark place towards the end of his 13th year of life. He preferred to remain in his room playing video games and online chatting than spending time with his family, friends and everything else he enjoyed before meeting 18 year old Lewis Daynes online. Lewis was a master manipulator and put seeds into Breck's head about how his life should be. Breck was at a very impressionable age and to him, Lewis was his idol. However Lewis was grooming Breck to be part of his sexually sadistic fantasies, and one day in early 2014 the two would meet.

Missing but not forgotten Andy Tench of North Carolina
Herbert Baumeister one of the most prolific serial killers of gay men in the 80's & 90's. Herb hailed from Indiana. He was married to a woman and had three kids but got his rocks off having sex with men and then killing them. In October 2023 and in January 2024 two of his victims that were John Does got their names back and were identified.

In past two years, 4 gay men have been murdered in the Phoenix, Arizona area. 41 year old Ben Anderson, 20 year old Osvaldo Hernandez Castillo, 30 year old Bernie Pantaleon and 49 year old Jake Kelly.
It's possible 3 are connected and for sure two are. Osvaldo and Bernie were gunned down by a member of The Northside 15th Avenue Street Gang.
Missing lgbtq plus person is Royce Riley Carter of New York. He went missing in Dallas, TX.

Missing but not forgotten LGBTQ person is Aaron Cody Fortner. 31 year old Kevin Clewer was on a night out with his friend John. The two men were bar hopping in the Boystown gayborhood of Chicago in March of 2004. Kevin would leave John at one of the bars as he left with a young man who called himself Fernando. Kevin's body would be found in his apartment by his father the following evening. The case has gone cold and has some eerie similarities to the case of Phillip DiMartino, who I covered just a few episodes ago. True Crime Quickie is from Canada. Back in 2001, Jayess, Mississippi a 58 acre compound housed Reverend David Earl King, his wife, his 32 year old adopted son, his 10-11 children, and some of his congregation. The acreage had a large house for the Kings, mobile homes for non relatives, a church with a basement that was used as a school, farm animals, trees and brush. The school was prime hunting ground for the Reverend, his adult adopted son and another man to prey on young boys sexually. 16 year old Nex Benedict was a gender non conforming sophomore at their high school in Oklahoma. This month they went to use the bathroom and were attacked by three upper classmen girls resulting in Nex having head trauma. The following day Nex died. This chid did not have to die, but thanks to some irresponsible adults that is exactly what happened.
Oklahoma has been notorious for their anti LGBTQ laws, especially anti trans. Add an anti LGBTQ ultra conservative troll from Tik Tok to the mix and something tragic was bound to happen. This episode also meet Chaya Raichik, the troll behind the Tik Tok account LibsofTikTok which is a social media account that is vile against the LGBTQ community, epsecially trans folk.
