In spirituality, the introspection is on the mind and intelligence themselves with a view to making them more and more qualitative, reformed, refined, and cultured, says Swamiji. Everyone should develop a habit of generating a dialogue between their intelligence and the mind with a view to infuse the benefits into the mind’s structure and the mind’s activities.A seeker must develop the habit of making the mind pure, noble and stable. One should become a knowledge-oriented person. Whatever we do, speak or think should be good.Swamiji exhorts everyone to take to infusional introspection which is an Introspection done with a view to infuse benefits into the mind.Shlokas chanted in the track:मातरीव परं यान्ति विषमाणि मृदूनि च ।विश्वासमिह भूतानि सर्वाणि शमशालिनि ।।Yogavasishtha–Mumukshu Vyavahara Prakaranam–13.61PR 06 May 2018

Poojya Swamiji speaks about the importance of ‘thinking’ or ‘Introspection’ for a seeker. Repeated thinking over a concept is a great Sadhana which has a direct impact on the mind. Whenever you come across a concept, you keep revolving it in your mind until you become that.Swamiji stresses on the fact that a seeker misses the Truth only because he does not take well to the Sadhana of introspection. ‘Repeated thinking’ itself is Sadhana.Shlokas chanted in the trackअत्र मां मार्गयन्त्यद्धा युक्ता हेतुभिरीश्वरम् ।गृह्यमाणैर्गुणैर्लिङ्गैरग्राह्यमनुमानतः ॥atra māṃ mārgayantyaddhā yuktā hetubhirīśvaram ।gṛhyamāṇairguṇairliṅgairagrāhyamanumānataḥ ॥Srimad Bhagavatam 11.7.23पुरुषत्वे च मां धीराः साङ्ख्ययोगविशारदाः ।आविस्तरां प्रपश्यन्ति सर्वशक्त्युपबृंहितम् ॥puruṣatve ca māṃ dhīrāḥ sāṅkhyayogaviśāradāḥāvistarāṃ prapaśyanti sarvaśaktyupabṛṃhitamSrimad Bhagavatam 11.7.21PR 03 Sep 2018

Swamiji thunders, “Is there not a presence in your body? If there is a presence, why don’t you realize it? It is there – otherwise you would have been dead. You are not dead. So you are alive. What makes you alive? Something within the body. What is that? A thought arises, it subsides. Another thought arises. It is that source from which the emergence and subsidence, both take place, both are facilitated.”A great keenness of intelligence is required to fathom this truth and experience it. We need to sharpen our intelligence!Slokas chanted in the trackस्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात् ॥(Bhagavad Gita 2.40)अयमात्मा नित्यसिद्धः प्रमाणे सति भासते ।न देशं नापि वा कालं न शुद्धिं वाप्यपेक्षते ॥(Vivekachudamani 531)PR 10 Jan 2012

One must take to the jnana-drishti and judge matters on the basis of spiritual wisdom alone. Any experience is inner and subjective. Based on the fact that something is experienced in the sentient mind as a sentient note, is not the entire world simply Brahman, and not a matter-energy aggregate? Swamiji explains.Slokas chanted in the trackदृष्टिं ज्ञानमयीं कृत्वा पश्येद्ब्रह्ममयं जगत् ।सा दृष्टिः परमोदारा न नासाग्रावलोकिनी ॥(Aparokshanubhutih 116)PR 12 Sep 2015

Repeated introspection over what we have read or heard from scriptures and great people will allow those values to get infused into our system. When by spiritual or philosophical introspection, the mental activities, mental functions, become subtler, feebler, lighter, slower, there comes a stage when there is cessation, and the whole introspectional process will come to be still. In the same manner, as the mind is active and vibrant now, it will become non-vibrant, buoyant and still. It is a state of a wonderful absorption.Slokas chanted in the trackअतीव सूक्ष्मं परमात्मतत्त्वं न स्थूलदृष्ट्या प्रतिपत्तुमर्हति ।समाधिनात्यन्तसुसूक्ष्मवृत्त्या ज्ञातव्यमार्यैरतिशुद्धबुद्धिभिः ॥(Vivekachudamani 361)PR 03 Jun 2017

For times immemorial, man has remained the same, with the same set of faculties. With the help of intelligence, one can plunge into the depth of one’s personality and identify the source of all experience. He will find altogether a single presence that gives rise to the thinker and the thought alike.PR 03 Jan 2018

The process of introspection, as it becomes briefer and briefer, lighter and lighter, shorter and shorter, until at last the very introspectional process will stop. Such introspection, when it is closely followed, it becomes meditation.Slokas chanted in the trackयदा पञ्चावतिष्ठन्ते ज्ञानानि मनसा सह ।बुद्धिश्च न विचेष्टते तामाहुः परमां गतिम् ॥(Kathopanishad 2.3.10)PR 03 Jan 2016

For any seeker pursuing spirituality, it is imperative to introspect over and discern the Spiritual Truth, the presence 'I', which is different from the Pancha Bhutas, but yet which acts on them. At the same time observe and comprehend the external truth - the sun, moon and the world. Everything external is transitory. So, a seeker has to leave all of them and then identity with and become the 'I'. Swamiji says that it is a voyage in wisdom. One who is inspired by it should become an ascetic and totally depend on chance and providence. This knowledge is not intellectual, but experiential. It leads the seeker to a wonderful state of fulfilment.

Sadhana can be done in the physical level - going to a temple and praying in front of a deity; in the oral level - singing and chanting; and in the mental level - thinking about and repeating a mantra. But when it comes to Intelligential Sadhana it is very different from all of these. Here, the whole focus is on intense introspection to comprehend the ultimate Truth, the all-fold presence. Through this process of introspection, one has to gain necessary purity, serenity, humility and expanse of mind, and sharpness of intelligence to understand the subtle concepts. When the comprehension finally becomes personal and experiential, we become the Self, the Brahman and we have our inherence in Brahman.

Ma tells that as Spiritual Seekers, we must remind ourselves again and again that this life is for knowing our Real Identity and to realize it. We have to live this knowledge, every moment in our thoughts, speech and activities. The Self alopne is everywhere inside as well as outside. The feeling that there is nothing but the Self, should become ours.

Poojya Swamiji describes his sadhana in the pre-sannyasa life, his meeting with Baba and how the 'deeksha' (initiation) propelled his spiritual journey to its beautiful culmination. Swamiji had overwhelming measure of Gurubhakti and earnestness towards the sadhana. This was also complemented by an intense scriptural reading and exposure. Swamiji also enlightens us that meditation and the experience of meditation itself is not the be all and end all of spirituality. Spirituality has to be a complement to our life. The final goal is Knowledge, it is the Knowledge about the 'I'. It can only be experienced and felt. The truth that I am 'I' always is to be deeply comprehended.

Poojya Swamiji enlightens us that it is Knowledge alone which will remain with us. This knowledge is the Self, transcending all known and unknown, all ideas and concepts. It is the presence denoted by the term ‘I’. Poojya Swamiji tells us that after getting initiation (Diksha) from his Gurudev, the only occupation for him was to be engrossed in the sadhana. To sit, think and identify with the Truth. The mind and intelligence are used to interact with the inner presence, contemplate on it, to bring more and more refinement and reformation to the mind and intelligence, until at last it identifies with the very Source of them.
