Sam & Grant, the All-American, have returned from their hiatus! They are also joined by Dustin Schutte for their return!
Coach Painter and the Boilermakers landed yet another highly touted recruit for the 2027 season! Joining Isaiah Hill (Indianapolis, Indiana) will be PG Kevin Savage, out of Marietta, Georgia!
Conversation gets deep when they talk about their thoughts on whether the potential for three point guards on the team will cause issues, or if the coaching staff could make it work if Omer Mayer, Luke Ertle, and Savage are all in West Lafayette to start the 2027 season.
After that. the guys get DEEP! It's time for them to pick their All-Time Boilermaker starting five! There are so many choices! So many, they may make a whole 10-man roster with some "honorable mentions!"
The conversations are going to be good, and it's great to have the show going again!

Sam & Grant, the All-American, are back to talk about a few things before they go on vacation for the rest of June!
Summer practices have started! What are some things people are taking away from the first few workouts?
Are there any players who have stood out early, who have made waves, and could show more as they progress through the summer?
Coach Painter was asked about the NCAA's 5-for-5 eligibility rule that's been proposed. He talked about how the rule, if it is passed, could affect Purdue and schools like it.
Finally, there are future recruits who have included Purdue on their list, and one in particular visited West Lafayette recently, and could be a valuable piece in the next couple of years!

The non-conference schedule is set! Kicking off with exhibitions against Ball State and at UCONN, the Boilers are setting the table to get better because of their schedule, and the guys will talk about how this could be a great step for the team in need of identity!
After that, they cover the "Top 10 Recruits in Purdue History." Our buddy Dustin Schutte wrote about the list, and the guys will talk about how things have changed in West Lafayette in the Matt Painter era!

Sam & Grant, the All-American, have a lot to talk about this week!
The Boilermakers have a scheduled exhibition game! Purdue will go to Connecticut to take on the UCONN Huskies on October 27th! Again, Coach Painter shows he wants to play good teams in enemy territory.
What do the gents think about the matchup? They talk about the maturation of players through this process.
After that, they will talk about various players and some questions about the offseason. What players will have the opportunity to make big leaps?
They talk about Antione West Jr. and what he could show this season. Is he ready to take control of this lineup?
Gicarri Harris comes into his junior year with an opportunity. Is HE ready to take a starting spot and show that he's one of the best on the team?
They've discussed it already, but how will the point guard position shake out?

Isaiah Hill announced his commitment to the Boilermakers last week, and the guys will chat about what this means for the program as we advance!
Could he be another Kannon Catchings, or will he use that as an example to make his place in West Lafayette?
What COULD the roster look like when Hill hits campus?
They will also discuss the coaching staff's recruiting AFTER this year, and how we're now in a different world of filling a roster.

Sam & Grant, the All-American, are back to talk about the #B1G opponents coming out! We know who the Boilers play at home, on the road, and home-and-away!
What are the takeaways from this? Is there anything that can add to the ease or difficulty?
After that, Braden Smith was at the #NBA combine, and we found out exactly how tall he is! Does this help, hurt, or have no effect on his draft projection? Will it change his mindset as a pro?
On a similar note, Trey Kaufman-Renn was extended an invite to the NBA Combine after a good showing at the G-League Combine. Can he get into some GMs' minds as a potential pick in June?

2027 recruit, Isaiah Hill (center at Pike HS in Indiana), is being predicted to go to Purdue! What could he provide the Boilers if he commits? Would it cause a backlog?
After discussing that, they will move on to the expectations of the incoming freshman class in 2026!
Jacob Webber, Rivers Knight, Sinan Huan, and Luke Ertel all come to campus soon and will compete for minutes. Where do the guys think the newcomers come out in the new season?

Sam & Grant, the All-American, are back to chat about recent developments in the #NCAA Tournament.
They announced that next year's tournament will expand from 68 to 76 teams, and it will add 8 more at-large teams, and gives them a BUNCH to chat over!
Does adding the new teams actually do anything for the tournament, or is this a scenario of adding teams just to add teams?
What are the gents thinking about when it comes to this? It's a topic that has A BUNCH of people talking about it on both sides!
There are a couple of other topics they will graze upon, but this expansion will get ONE of the guys ramped up... we'll give you one guess as to who that is! He doesn't do math very well, on a basic level! HAHA!

They dive right in and discuss a rule proposed by the NCAA that gives athletes 5 years from the day they graduate to complete their eligibility. How would this affect recruits like Jamyn Sondrup, who graduates this year but will not be a player at Purdue until 2028?
It's a topic that hits close to these two.
They will talk about a recruiting visit for the 2027 recruiting class from this past weekend. What would Chase Richardson provide Purdue if he chooses to come?

Sam & the All-American, Grant, are back with their first show of the off-season. It's a sad notion, but the guys will react to the Boilermaker's Elite Eight game against Arizona on Saturday.
After leading by 7 at the half, Purdue struggled mightily in the second half to score. Only scoring 26 points allowed the Wildcats to go wild, overcome the deficit, win the game going away, and advance to the Final Four.
After the recap, the guys will talk about the season that just wrapped up.
What do the guys think about the outgoing senior class? Also, Coach Painter... is he still the right guy for the job in West Lafayette?

Texas played a VERY GOOD game, and Purdue came out with the "W!"

After that, they move to the Elite Eight game against 1-seeded Arizona. How difficult will it be for the Boilermakers to beat the Wildcats?

Sam & Grant, the All-American, are back to talk about Purdue's 2nd round game against Miami! A 79-69 win advances the Boilers to the Sweet 16 for the 3rd straight year, and a date against the Texas Longhorns.
What are some concerns coming out of the game v. the Hurricanes? What are the highlights? Will CJ Cox be available and at full strength in San Jose?

Queens University, in North Carolina, comes in as the 15-seed in the West. The Royals, in their first year of tournament eligibility, won the ASUN tournament as a 3-seed.
With a rotation that has 6 double-digit scorers, the Boilers need to play some good defense to keep this from being a close game!
The guys talk about what the Royals bring in this game on Friday evening.

Sam & Dustin Schutte, filling in for Grant the All-American, are recapping the Boilermakers' poor showing on Sunday in Columbus, against Ohio State.
The Buckeyes grabbed control midway through the first half and never relinquished the lead the rest of the way.
Was this the worst the guys have seen Purdue play this season? Were there players or areas that the Boilers performed well, or was this entire game something to try and forget?
Has their performance in the last 12 games put a damper on how the season started?
