Leo tells a brilliant TRUE story about Dublin Castle.
We then headed west to the beautiful County Mayo, and the mysterious Lough Mask. There are many legends about Loughs in Scotland and Ireland, and Emily's story features a malevolent creature that lurks in the dark waters.

Aaron also co-runs Elephant Tales, a monthly storytelling for adults (16+) in Elephant and Castle, London.

Leo came up with the idea of something witchy - and you can't get more witchy than the three weird sisters from William Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth'. In the 16th and 17th century, people really believed in evil witches who could curse you and control your fate. If you'd like to know more about the play and the weird sisters you can do so HERE. Emily's story is from Brittany in France. Its based on an old tale about the supernatural creature - the Werewolf, but we've changed it somewhat and given it a Feminine twist. Our story is about one of the most mystical of all beasts - the UNICORN! Hello and welcome to Dragonfly Tales a story podcast with Emily and Leo.We hope you're looking forward to SUMMER TIME! We've been out in the garden weeding and tidying, learning new songs and playing instruments, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends. We've also been walking around London lots, exploring its hidden parts, picking up facts and stories.Leo has also been getting into Japanese Anime and Manga. He grew up watching beautiful films from Studio Ghibli, and is now watching lots of Anime series. You can learn more about Anime HERE.
Leo's story is an old Japanese tale about soothing babies - something we've all done - and we continue to pass down these techniques through the generations.
Our main story is a very famous Japanese fairytale - Momotaro, the Peach boy. He is a famous hero in Japanese folklore and there is a statue of him and his animal companions in Okoyama. (a bit like the Bremen Town Musicians!)

May day is a really lovely time of year – we celebrate the beginning of summer,
which in the Celtic wheel is called Bealtaine. (which is actually Gaelic for the month of May)
The earth is tilting towards the sun here in the northern hemisphere and the warm season is coming. If the sun were a few degrees nearer we would burn up. And if the sun were a few degrees farther away all life on earth would be frozen.But the position of our sun is 'just right', just like baby bear's porridge.And it's called - the Goldilocks Zone.
