Leonid has also worked at Yelp as a Senior Reliability Engineer, and at Yandex as Co-Head of Infrastructure, managing teams responsible for common infrastructure components and tools.   • Dr. Anurag Maunder is an SVP of Engineering at Kindred AI, an artificial intelligence company that solves human problems with autonomous robots.

    He started his career with prestigious AT&T Bell Labs. He was the Founder, CTO of Kazeon Systems that was acquired by EMC and the Founder CEO of dLoop that was acquired by Box. In last few years, he established the Advanced Development lab for EMC to focus on Machine learning for automating storage configurations and also created Johnson Controls Innovation Garage that introduced several new AI products in industrial IOT.

    His current areas of interest are AI, Robotics, Smart Buildings and IoT Security using Blockchains. He believes that AI and Robotics together will fundamentally transform the quality of life and disrupt every single industry.

  • As head of engineering, Prashant leads Asana’s growing engineering organization towards high velocity, sustainability, and quality.   • Zak Stengel is the SVP of Engineering at The Trade Desk, which is a global technology company that provides a platform for advertisers to reach target audiences across any device in real time.

    Since 2013, Zak has led The Trade Desk’s Engineering team through massive growth, from a single team of 8 people to a global organization of nearly 200 across 12 offices throughout North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. In this time, the team has driven a technological expansion to a scaled platform that now services more queries than searches by Google, tweets by Twitter, and snaps by Snapchat – combined.

    Depending on how you count, Zak has between 15 and 30 years of experience as a professional software developer and technology leader.   • Amy Wiley, Vice President of Engineering Services, Webroot

    As Vice President of Engineering Services, Amy is part of a global team that ranges from DevOps engineers, escalation engineers, quality assurance (QA) team members, and support engineers to customer retention agents, UX/UI designers, advanced malware removal analysts and threat research experts.

    In her role, Amy serves as the voice of the customer, working with development, QA, product management and sales and marketing to ensure customer or product problems are resolved and, ultimately, keeping customers cyber safe.

    She leads a team that works around the clock, every single day, to monitor systems, engage with customers, and ensure that Webroot is providing the best experience and protection in the industry.

    Amy has more than 17 years of experience working for software development companies in different capacities. Prior to her nearly 16-year tenure at Webroot, she worked as a technical account manager and a staff software engineer at Rally Software and IBM Rational.

    When she is not in the office, Amy, alongside her husband Mike, can be found on cheering their kids (18-year-old Sammy and 16-year-old Bennett) playing basketball, golf, soccer, and track.

Seth began his career melding data analysis, software engineering, and open source project management at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center where he worked on the Bioconductor project and contributed to R.   • Mark has been with ConnectWise, Inc for 14 years and is currently Senior Director of Product Development for the ConnectWise software. Mark is also chairman of the board of directors for Computer Mentors, a non-profit organization that teaches the fundamentals of programming, entrepreneurism, public speaking, and more to the underserved youth of our community. He is also on the ISDS Advisory Board for the MUMA College of Business at the University of South Florida. Since joining ConnectWise, Mark has been a key contributor in the development of the ConnectWise software and has helped to define and improve the software development process.   • Thomas Price is the Director of Engineering of the Core Engineering division at the Standard where he focuses on the Core Applications and Enterprise Integration product teams. He was also until very recently responsible for the Application Security team at the Standard as well. Thomas started his career as a firmware developer and has slowly moved up the technology stack to desktop applications, mobile software and now enterprise software. He has spent a large portion of his career in regulated industries like medical devices, digital health, and insurance. He has also worked in commercial spaces like auto dealerships and storage servers. Most of his career has been in product development but now he is spending some time in IT driving the technology and platform transformation at the Standard.

    Thomas also sits on the Technology Leadership Committee at the Technology Association of Oregon as well as the Board and Steering Committee of the PSU/PDX Cooperative Education Program. He participates in one adventurous activity every year, which once included spending a weekend riding rodeo bulls, and this year will involve a Kayak/Camping trip through the San Juan Islands. Thomas holds a BS in Computer Science from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver.

    He has put his primary focus on improving the culture, processes and development effectiveness of organizations. Beyond that, he strives to engage with the local technology community in ways that bring value back to those he engages with.
