It's been a minute and we decided to just get together and chat about a few things that are going on in the sports world. Listen up and get an update of AJ's story about his cancer surgery, Bear's story about being late for a tee time, and some interesting sports chatter as we get away from the robotic-ness of our previous format and just try to let it flow. We wanted to put something out so everyone knew who we picked for the NFL draft contest! You beat our combined picks, you win 25 bucks fresh out of Bear's pocket! This starts out pretty quiet as it's Bear and Opi just chatting and then AJ comes in straight from the links to join in about 1/3rd of the way through. We have some fun trying to figure out who the heck a couple of AJs picks were, because he didn't know either!

Ryan has a quick announcement about his future with the podcast and then we jump into a fun FBFL night that included Bear drinking with an 80 year old woman named Connie, that he kept calling Deb. We spend a lot of this trying to play a little catch up from thelost weeks of technical issues, but we also finalize a lot of things like some of the money winners from leagues other than the FBFL, the predictions, and the end of an era where Grimbo rides off into the night on his White Shetland Pony. You can tell these guys haven't gotten together in a while as the giggling was all over the place. If nothing else, go to the end and listen to the sad song Bear put together for Grim's send off. We extend this a little longer by talking about the Kelce bump and the fact that Grim doesn't like drunk people…OK, it wasn't quite that way, but we have a lively discussion about the celebration!

We got no produca, so we got no love this week as Bear reallyjust didn't want to look anything up, so we go straight into some baseball free agents and have fun with that. We do, however, get a surprise guest with the founder of Grinder, Marcus Laethum coming on site to hang with us. We do have a weird transition early on due to some speak that shall not be played on the air, listen for that as it ended up being a funny transition. We do our Stupid Bowl stuff and then really start losing control at the end.

AJ and Bear get into a little argument about Brock Purdy and his abilities. We also spend too much time looking at some ladies and commenting on that, though this is AJs best breakdown of the year. We finish with some real fun predictions of certain activities we feel may happen in this weekend's games.

Holy CRAP do the boys have some energy this week. Grim & Bear yell at each other. Ryan & AJ can't shut the F up, Opi shows his frustration, it's like the old days of podcasting again and is fun to listen to! Ryan's Love section gets incredibly weird a couple times as we go off into some really disturbing tangents. At the end, the guys really have a lot of fun breaking down the upcoming games and, though most don't care about our picks, the discussions are a good time and fun to listen to, and go off the rails a couple times yet again.

We start out with the normal intro and then get into some family chat about how Grandpa Behrens is doing, and then we intro a new Opi & the Bear member Lauren Melissa Behrens who was born just before the New Year. The guys talk quite a bit of golf prior to getting going into the fun stuff. If you like Grimbo, you'll love this one because he has an echo,or as the pro's call it, he has a little reverb. This makes him tough to understand most the time but he always sounds like he has a dick in the mouth anyway, so you may not notice. We go VERY deep into the playoff matchups and give our thoughts on possible changes teams can make to solidify their team for the week. Bear has a database that has 30 years of stats in it and loves to bust it out to give some history on the two teams also and that's fun to listen to. Bear starts out showing the boys the numbers between Counsel and Rossy and then we go into a great memory of when we learned he was a great guy. Jody sent in a funny song we put on the air for everyone to enjoy. Bear pickeda couple disgusting songs for the guys this week, we'll get that cleaned up next week for everyone. Opi just COULDN'T RESIST getting Bear all worked up about the Cubs coaching move right off the bat. We get a lot more light hearted after that though and everyone gets a little giggly for a while. We also bring El Hoker in the house to make it a very full house, but the podcast stayed strong and all the guys had a good time! We add in some FBFL Playoff Predictions at the end, who is going to be the 1st-6th seed in each conference.

AJ had to work thanks to Halloween getting in the way and the Produca Ryan fell ill and was not feeling it. They completed their write ups but were not available for speak so Bear, Grimbo, and Opi took this podcast and ran, which is easier to do without AJ, he no run.
