I saw a statistice that said we actually only wear about 10% of our wardrobes, at first when I heard this I thought there's no way that's true, but ask yourself how many times have you stood in your closet full of clothes and thought "I have nothing to wear".
So, if you're ready to clean out your closet, then this episode is for you! In today's episode I go over 4 methods you can use to pair down your wardrobe:
Backwards Hangers- if you're short on time and energy this method is for you, on January 1 turn all your hangers backwards. Then throughout the year as you wear things hang them back up normally, at the end of the year all the backwards hangers have to go Bye Bye Bin- Keep a box or bin in your closet and every time you wear something that is uncomfortable in anyway throw it in the box. At the end of the year wash everything in the box and take it to a donation bin Big Purge- Try on absolutely everything in your closet to make sure it fits and even go a step further with it and figure out how you're going to style it, create an outfit and make sure that it matches the aesthetic you're going for. Also make it fun with music Let Go of Placeholders- Stop buying different versions of the same thing that just aren't quite right and hold out for that holy grail item. Once you find it go crazy and buy it in every color but until then don't waste money on things you won't wear One In One Out- This isn't a closet clean out method so much as a closet maintenence method, but it is a good rule to implement once you've done your initial declutterEvery single item in your closet should fit the body you have now, be comfortable, and suit your style. Can you say that about your closet? If not, it's time to declutter until everything in your closet is an option. No more saying, I have nothing to wear.

I have spent the entire weeking packing up my house, getting ready to move halfway across the country. However, I am going to be downsizing a lot with thise move so I am having to do a huge purge of all of my stuff and if I'm being honest it feels SO GOOD!
While it can be difficult to let go of some things and make decisions to get rid of our possessions it is incredibly freeing to not have to manage so many things. Our homes should be where we go to feel safe, comfortable and at peace. However, I think so often our homes actually cause us anxiety because we're constantly battling with having to keep up with clutter or even avoiding areas of our home we find overwhelming.
It's time we start choosing peace over possessions, so if you're ready to declutter your home but need some help on getting started, then this episode is for you!

I'M MOVING!!! I cannot believe this is happening, but after years I have finally manifested my dream destination and am moving to Charleston, South Carolina! In today's episode I am sharing my best manifestation tips, so if you've been wanting to manifest your dream destination, partner, job, etc. then this one is for you!
In today's episode I discuss:
Take action- manifestation isn't sitting back, wishing, waiting for something to happen, and just hoping it falls into your lap. You've got to give the opportunity you want an opportunity to present itself to you Get crystal clear- know exactly what it is you want and then visualize it. Make a vision board, scrpit it, act as if, plan it out and get a clear vision in your mind Speak on it- don't be afraid to share your hopes, dreams and goals with the people you love, you won't jinks something by sharing it. It's okay to speak on things, but remember your words have meaning so be positive and optimistic. Don't cling to it- don't clench onto something, you recieve with an open hand. Sometimes the answer isn't necessarily no, it's just not yet so be patient and when it is meant for you it will happen.I am so excited to share this journey with you guys and I hope that these tips help you manifest your dream destination.

You may have noticed I have taken a few weeks off, I have been grieving the loss of my dog Wrigley. I initially wanted to take time off until I felt like I could come back and be my usual self, but that felt really inauthentic. This podcast has always been about me sharing with you my journey, process and experiences and I don't want to pretend that this time of grief isn't happening because it's a part of my story.
If you also find yourself grieving; whether it's the loss of a pet, a loved one, a relationship, a friendship, a job or anything else, then I hope this episode brings you some comfort. Unfortunately, no one in this life escapes grief, I just hope that I can make you feel less alone.

In today's episode I want to share with you the three tenents of the "laziness lie", a phrase coined by Dr. Devon Price in his book Laziness Does Not Exist, and how you can overcome the lie that you are lazy.

The weather here is heating up and it inspired me to share some of my hot takes. Feel free to agree or disagree and make sure to head over to my socials to let me know what you think.
In today's episode I discuss:
We need to celebrate people for more than finding love and having babies, if you want to be celebrated for a life event don't be afraid to celebrate yourself the way you wish others did You don't have to be a morning person, waking up at the crack of dawn is overrated Everyone can benefit from therapy Being 'chugy' or 'cring' isn't a bad thing Social media has made people boring, scrolling isn't a hobby Dating apps have ruined dating but it is almost impossible to meet someone out in the real world Self-harm jokes are not funny, it's not dark humor- it's concerningIn this episode I discuss these and more, not necessarily to justify my thoughts or convince you one way or another just wanted to air some grievences.
