  • Enjoy this tapping exercise to help you feel relaxed before sleep, fall asleep easier and stay asleep throughout the night.  I’ve been doing this meditation and a shorter version of it together with my daughter every night for six years now.  I started using tapping before sleep to help Adhya with nightmares and she’s slept well ever since!  This is very kid friendly and I encourage you to try it with your child.

  • Gross motor skills are those used to move your arms, legs, and torso in a functional manner. Gross motor skills involve the large muscles of the body that enable such functions as walking, jumping, kicking, sitting upright, lifting, and throwing a ball.   • There have been many prominent teachers like Deepak Chopra or Eckhart Tolle and others who teach us about the power of mindfulness and why it’s so important to incorporate it into our daily practice. It has many proven benefits from reducing anxiety, depression and chronic pain to improving sleep and reducing stress. 

    But it’s not something that comes naturally for us especially with the many distractions that take our attention and focus elsewhere. This is also true for our children.

    Gwenda Lambert is an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist who helps people navigate their emotional landscape as they move through grief and loss.

    Gwenda provides online sessions one on one and group support programs for anyone experiencing grief.  Gwenda also offers a program called Helping Children with Loss for parents or individuals who want to be able to support young ones as they learn to process their emotional expression. By the time Gwenda was 21 years old, she had experienced the death of 17 people in her life.  She kept herself very busy and experienced tremendous successes in her career until a physical injury coupled with post traumatic stress forced her to give it all up.

    The Grief Recovery Method helped Gwenda to unpack all her grief and rewire her nervous system in order to feel more whole and complete.
