  • Struggling with postnatal depression, Chelsea Pottenger found herself in a dark place, battling feelings of hopelessness and despair.   • Charles Street is the co-founder of Inkwazi Adventures and TEDx speaker, and has joined the podcast today to share his work in providing bicycles for students in some of the poorest parts of Africa.

    Many children travel around 10-20km to school on foot every day, and by the time they get to school they are exhausted, in turns impacts their ability to learn.

    Through BIKES4ERP, Charles tell the story of Ria, a young girl whose life got a new direction with just one bicycle, and how they were able to help hundreds of children like Ria, taking the school's pass rate went from a low bar of 35% to 85% in a short time.

    Charles also shares about the mission of Adventure by Cycle, as well as the preparation and experience of being a TEDx speaker, and his growth mindset and what it is to 'play in the grey'.

    For the first time, Nadine is sharing her life story, going into great detail about mental and physical health challenges bought on by an eating disorder in her teenage years, and how that helped shape her career journey and the values and habits that she has cultivated in her life.

    Her honesty and humility shows the significant impact that small acts of kindness can have, and the ripple effect they have created in the world around her.
