It was definitely a big year for hip-hop in 2017 with the culture running the masses. A lot of dope music put out and awesome moments that will live engraved in the memory's of many. We are a piece of the culture and really pushed it forward this year with our platform. With that said, we had to look back on the amazing year and talk about it.

Hometown hero Nipsey Hussle stopped by the Power 106 "#LIFTOFF" show to check-in with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Neighbadhood Nip came loaded with goodies as he premiered his new single "Rap N****s" and shared the cover art and release date for his forthcoming 'Victory Lap' debut album.
Nip told Creddy and Milk that he will release 'Victory Lap' during the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend on February 16th. The album has been teased since 2013, but Nip made the official call on the "#LIFTOFF" and had the streets buzzing. -

Fabolous and Jadakiss have outlived many hip-hop artists and earned their current icon status. When they announced their ‘Freddy Vs. Jason’ joint project last year, it instantly caused pandemonium. A year later it is out after a few delays and the duo pulled up on us to discuss it.
