Where to even start this month? There’s so much good out right now. Some of it hasn’t hit stores yet. Some has been in stores and on sale for months and deserve a second listen or 12. And then there’s MK837… with new music from Space Native, Denats, LUCKYKAT and Dave Richards. It’s a great month and another stellar set from Dave Richards on the wheels of plastic and aluminum.

Here we are again on the start of a new month and with that returns Dave Richards with another Uniquely Yours. Dave’s a bit stressed out this month. His laptop died or refused to cooperate for the last time and now it’s awaiting a swift kick to the curb. He’s picked up a last-minute replacement (and upgrade) and somehow pulled this show together… so you better like it! Just kidding.
This one is unique though. In addition to the new laptop, Dave has picked up an Ableton Move – which is like the Push 3’s smaller kid brother. The thing is though, Dave thinks like the Push and Ableton Live, so unlike with Maschine+ or the Akai Force, he’s deeply connected to it already. So, keep an ear open. Dave has layered in some extra percussion and synths.

This month I’ve been slammed at the day job and dealing with multiple bouts of bad winter weather… well, bad if you live in the Atlanta area like I do. Because of this, I’ve got a guest mix for you from Space Native. It’s been a while since he’s been behind the decks of plastic and aluminum, but trust me, you don’t want to miss this!
-
This month’s mix is a blend of breaks, deep house, tribal tech house, house, and minimal / deep tech. There should be something for everyone here. Get ready to crank it to 11, because 2026 is here along with Dave Richards and Uniquely Yours.

Well, this is embarrassing. When I recorded the December Uniquely Yours, I knew there were some stupid DJ errors. I THOUGHT that I had corrected them all in editing – which I don’t like to do, but I did. But as I was doing the weekly grocery shopping at Walmart (because my family is high class), I noticed that I not only missed one of the more grievous mistakes, but that the recording seemed to slow to a crawl whenever I applied basic FX.And that brings me to this… you win. You get a bonus, apology mix. Please enjoy and if you hear any technical issues, please point them out in the comments. If you hate the tracks, you can keep that to yourself.

Well, it’s the last Uniquely Yours of the year and Dave is back on the wheels of plastic and aluminum. This month he’s bringing the heat with a preview of December’s MK837 releases alongside some of January’s. This is a mix for the books… especially considering how many times Dave spaced out and well… you’ll hear.

It’s been harder than usual for me to find time to get this show recorded. Fortunately, I’m clearing out some major tasks these days and had a time to not just record this episode, but I had time to do an extended mix for the podcast. This one was a lot of fun and has a ton of tribal elements to it and you know how I love those. This is the kind of mixing that I need to do more of. Please enjoy this month’s Uniquely Yours.

Well, it’s been yet another month and it’s time for yet another Uniquely Yours. I need to apologize up front. I ran out of time with multiple deadlines hitting me at once, so it’s back to the Uniquely Yours archives for this month’s mix. And when I say back to the archives, I mean episode 1. This is the first half to my very first mix on Uniquely Yours. I thought it would be a good one to bring back up as a retrospective on the show’s first 8 years. I hope you enjoy it.

Welcome back to another episode of Uniquely Yours. Dave is back behind the wheels of aluminum and plastic with a special mix for you in two parts. Part 1 is business as usual. Dave covers the latest tracks from MK837. Denats is back. Dave has a new track. Space Native returns. Vegas 86 joins the label. And we round it off with the latest from Deep Dementure.Part 2 is where Dave tried to pull a wild hair or scratch a hard-to-reach itch. You see his friend Joey Davis (J.Davis, Faith Massive, Yoshida) released a new ep recently under his moniker – Ginger Giant. It’s a lovely DnB ep that showcases his signature sounds. Well, that Dave off on a DnB listening quest and well… that resulted in this month’s DnB mix. Whatever you do, don’t skip this one. It truly is a wild ride.TRACKLIST: 1. Well, life caught up with me again. This week I’m dealing with a twisted knee and while I could probably still sit and DJ, I just don’t want to. I’m cranky and in pain. Hopefully, by the time you read this, all of that will have been dealt with medically. This whole thing is a shame because it’s the start of Uniquely Yours’ 8th year. So, without me, you’ll have to have a substitute teacher and today… that’s J Lauda!

It’s the last episode of Season 7 here on Unqiuely Yours. It’s also pretty much an all house show with everything ranging from organic to funky to tech to progressive to melodic house. Dave is in rare form this month. It’s just a solid, clean set with little to no effects and a killer tracklist. If you have to miss one episode, don’t let it be this one.

Dave is back behind the decks again with yet another Uniquely Yours. This month, he’s bringing that prickly heat with some stellar house, minimal/deep tech and electronica. Get your dancing shoes on, because this one is too hot to sit on. Definitely stick around for the last track. Bingo Players and Mohtiv have absolute fire with “Want It All”.

This month is all about house. Well, it normally is, but this one turned out to be housier than usual. It’s a fun, but flawed set. I was pressed for time and made a couple of mistakes. I mention one of them at the end, but there are some scattered throughout. Let me know if you spot them. Beyond the flaws, I’m excited about this one. The overall flow is smoother than I thought it would be. The transitions are things of beauty (in most case). There’s just a solid blend of classic artists and labels here that simply gets the job done. I hope this becomes a favorite episode of Uniquely Yours.Dave RLabel OwnerMK837TRACKLIST: 1. Welcome back to another Uniquely Yours audio adventure with Dave Richards – brought to you by MK837 and Proton Radio. This month we’ve got a spaced out, genre spanning, mostly techno-ish hour of audio goodness waiting for you and your friends. This isn’t your grandfather’s mix, nor is it that annoying kid down the street who’s still trying to learn how to beatmatch on some old Gemini CDJs he found at the dump last week. We’re going deep and we’re going on a journey. Tune-in and enjoy the ride.Tracklist1. Timo Maas, Vazik - Cruzando Fronteras (Original Mix) [Systematic Recordings]2. From time to time, we do a showcase of upcoming or new release from MK837. Usually, this is a January show, but time did not allow for that this year, so we’re hitting it in February. Except for Mike Parra and Matke, Minitronik’s tracks, everything is a 2025 release. We’ll start you off nice and […]

Well, Dave is sick this month and so he reached back into the MK837 archives for a mix he thought you might enjoy. What he came back with is the very first episode of The Guest List featuring Saku Newmoon. The Guest list is normally our exclusive podcast that is only available to our Patreon […]

Welcome to December and the end of 2024. As the final holidays of the year approach, I hope you’re planning to take some time to spend with friends and family. Before all that happens though, I’ve got a killer mix for you that defies genres and takes you on yet another journey. This time we’re […]

It’s hard to believe that it’s November already. At the time of this recording, we were days away from the US election and at the time of the show’s airing… we probably still don’t know who the next president will be. Good job America! Anyway, we’re kicking things off with a new track from Paradigm […]

And we’re back! It’s October and there’s nothing like a solid, dreamy, provocative progressive house mix on a fall day. Well, I’d like to think that at least. Dave’s back on the wheels of plastic and aluminum bringing you just that. We’ve got some great NEW progressive house tracks mixed in with some classics. Add […]
