Our Guest: Today our guest is Dr. Donny Mathis. Dr. Mathis is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds a PhD. in New Testament and currently serves as a professor at North Greenville University, where he teaches Christian studies. He also serves as a lay elder at The Church at Cherrydale in Greenville, SC. A few years back, Dr. Mathis co-authored the book, Seven Arrows: aiming bible readers in the right direction. This simple approach of studying the Bible has been a gift to student ministry and the Church around the world.

He has served as a professor of Psychology and Family Counseling at Barclay College, worked with the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Services, and he currently serves as an adjunct professor and clinical consultant at Liberty University. He owns and operates his practice, Upstate Carolina Counseling, in Easley SC.
