Since COVID, Education Technology (and education in general) has been a really hot topic in the news. It's a topic Im personally quite passionate about so I was really excitred to dig in with Jess and Emmett.
OIn doing so, I learned that Jess's story from teaching to marketing to buying out HireEducation from the owner was a really fascinating and inspiring one. Among other things, that story really contributes to the vast difference in culture that HireEducation has; a focus more on subject matter expertise and thought leadership than grinding out a high quantity numbers

Our 100th Episode!!!! Thrilling, a little shocking and weirdly it felt like it happened really quickly. I was thrilled to have Alexis Alvarez as our featured guest for episode 100. She's the founder and CEO of Career Rockstars, an Executive Search firm that advocates for diversity in hiring within Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Venture Capital firms.
Moreover, her approach to alternative branding in that space really spoke to me as an example of the highly personalized business branding I think we all will need to tap into to stay relevant in tomorrow's highly competitive market.
