But weāre picking the story back up exactly where we left offā¦
I walked out of that unit, sat in my car, and completely broke down. The silence after leaving was louder than anything I had experienced. I had questions, I had emotions, and I had no idea if I would ever hear from him again.
Until the plot twists started coming.
A message from his mom. A conversation with someone from his past. Information I didnāt know. Red flags I probably should have seen. And then, three weeks later, one message changed everything.
Because sometimes you think a story has ended⦠until your phone rings.
Welcome back to Respectfully Unhinged.

In this weekās midweek update, weāre talking about rerouting, those unexpected moments when life takes a turn, your plans change, and you realize maybe the detour wasnāt a setback⦠it was the direction you were supposed to go all along.
I had a whole different conversation planned, but God had other plans. And honestly? Looking back, I know it wasnāt a coincidence.
This episode is about trusting the redirections, laughing at the chaos, letting go of what we thought was supposed to happen, and remembering that sometimes the biggest growth comes from the moments we never saw coming.
So grab your coffee, your emotional support beverage, and letās get respectfully unhinged about the twists, turns, and reroutes life throws our way

Last week, I left yāall outside the captainās office⦠and this week, weāre finally walking in.
What I thought was the end of the story turned out to be the beginning of something much bigger. In this episode, Iām unpacking what happened after that meeting, the unexpected conversations that followed, and the lessons I never saw coming.
This isnāt just another prison story. Itās about assumptions, accountability, the people who quietly changed my perspective, and how one experience completely shifted the way I see the system.
Sometimes the biggest plot twists arenāt the ones you expect theyāre the ones that change you.
Welcome back to Respectfully Unhinged.

My 16-year-old officially took over the mic, and we covered a little bit of everything! From what itās like having me as a mom to Love Island, Baddies, growing up, her experience coming out as gay, and plenty of laughs along the way, this is one of our most real and unfiltered conversations yet. Grab a drink and come hang out with us!

This episode is proof that common sense leaves the chat and chaos takes this wheel. This is 100% unbelievable! Weāre talking ignoring red flags, questionable decisions, and a thought process I donāt understand.
My judges robe is on today!

Iām back after a much-needed reset, and weāre jumping right back into the chaos.
The letter has been passed⦠Cash became the messenger⦠and now the ball is in his court.
A trip to Dallas unlocks a new character, old drama explodes, and suddenly I find myself caught in the middle of a situation I didnāt create.
A call to the unit, a trip to the Captainās office, and the feeling that maybe⦠just maybe⦠Iām being watched.
The letter was only the beginning. š
Stick with meā¦

After a few weeks away, Iām back!
This episode is a little different. Iām talking about taking a step back, spending time with God, navigating another loss, finding gratitude in hard seasons, and being reminded that life is truly a vapor.
A little reflection, perspective, and a teaser for Fridayās episode where we finally pick up where the prison story left off.

This weekās Respectfully Submitted takes a different turn.
One message came through that wasnāt anonymous. No guessing. No hiding. No distance really. Just intention.
I told you all I know who it is, and I do. But what matters more is what happens when the listener stops being in just the audience?
This isnāt just a letter, it might be a shift. Letās get into it.
-
I read the letter. Then read it again. And again.
In this episode weāre talking about the letter that stayed on my mind and the moment I finally picked up a pen. PLUS, youāll meet Cash- the one who noticed way more than he should have and somehow became the messenger in a story that was starting to get very real.
š« One letter.
š Several questionable decisions.
š¤¦š»āāļø 0 common sense.

Episode 3 is where things stop being funny in theory and start becoming very real.
After shutting down the idea of talking to an inmate, I realize the problem isnāt him anymore, itās the fact that the thought of him wonāt leave me alone.
What starts as curiosity slowly turns into tension, awareness, denial, and a prison full of people noticing before Iām willing to admit it myself.
This episode dives into emotional walls, prison politics, accidental contact, and the terrifying realization that maybe.. just maybe.. this connection was not one-sided.
Respectfully, this is where the spiral begins.

In this episode, weāre talking about what it was really like walking into prison for the first time- the fear, the training, the warnings, the stigma, and the moments nobody prepares you for.
From inmates sizing me up, to realizing prison culture wasnāt what the outside world thinks it is, this episode gets into tension, the chaos, and the unexpected moments that changed how I saw everything.
Also⦠why were inmates protecting me faster than some officers? Because apparently weāre unpacking that TOO.
Dark humor, emotional damage, and questionable life choices included as always.

In this episode, Iām introducing myself, this podcast, and why my life story sounds like a series of questionable decisions I didnāt fully think through. From getting married at 18, to navigating adulthood way too early, to unexpected plot twists I definitely didnāt plan for⦠this is where it all starts.
Weāre setting the tone for chaos, honesty, humor, and real-life storytelling nothing polished, nothing perfect, just real.
And if youāve ever looked back at your life and thought āhow did I end up here?ā⦠youāre in the right place.
