Guest's Bio (Karyn D.): Karyn’s pregnancy and birth experiences along with her role as her family’s nourisher have transformed her faith and increased intimacy with Abba as El Shaddai: Integral Nourisher, and His Son, The Word—as Integral Teacher and Deliverer. In her case, the body has taught the mind how to receive faith. She has had 5 different home birth experiences, some with midwives and some without. Because of the faith training built in these experiences, she found Him calling her to write a book in 2019. Her family lives in Richmond, Virginia and cultivates 5 agricultural acres in the middle of a suburban neighborhood, with a large garden, some dairy sheep, chickens and other such creatures.

We are called as women and mothers to boldly proclaim the truth. I believe that it is my ministry to speak up and fight for the ways in which God has called us to be a mother. I pray you will open your heart and minds when listening in today!

    Blessings, Marisa!

Guest bio (Morgan R.): My name is Morgan Ray. I am a believer, wife, mother to a toddler, birth doula, and social worker living in North Carolina. I have been a birth doula for 7 years and had my own planned home birth in 2021. I have spanned the spectrum in the birth worker world, primarily attending hospital and birth center births for several years until my own planned home birth. God has placed a deep desire in my heart to see the home birth community grow within my local community as we have limited options and access.

Part of my story, through my own planned home birth, has been God showing me the innate design He has placed on pregnancy, birth, womanhood, and mothering. I have a deep respect for God’s design and trust in a Woman’s body. God revealed much of this to me through my own planned home birth that resulted in a cesarean, also known as a home birth cesarean. I’m excited to share and connect with other like-minded women.

Guest bio (Raeanna O.): Hey there. I am a girl mom of 2, ages 2 years old and 3 months. I fell in love with birth and motherhood after becoming a mom. Prior to that, I really had no interest in anything related to birth. Now I see the beauty and privilege in embracing motherhood and how blessed I am to have the ability to have babies. My prayer is that all future mothers can experience birth and motherhood the way it’s intended to be and are supported by other mothers the way I’ve been.

Guest bio (Hannah W.): I am a young mom of two kids who are 20 months apart. My homebirth with my son started my journey toward holistic living and homesteading. We’ve turned our little home in a neighborhood on 1/5 of an acre into a mini Homestead with 18 chickens, compost bins along the side of the house, freezers, full of meat we’ve raised, and a garden I nurture like a third child. On any given day you will probably find me working in the garden, playing with my kids, or following my cleaning schedule.
