Kinsale 10 Mile road race.
Hosted by: Riverstick Kinsale Athletic Club & Kinsale Community School.
The race is set in the beautiful surrounds of Kinsale on a course with real potential for PBs with a fast final 5 mile net downhill section.
We have had some great feedback from our races in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023 and hope to make the event even better for 2024.

In the picturesque village of Adare, this is a race not to be missed every year. worth the trip alone for the location.
Both the T-Shirt and the Finishers Medal are made from recycled materials.
This race is the main fundraiser for West Limerick Athletics Club and thanks to the support of runners from all over Munster (& beyond) it has Sold Out for the past number of years.

Event Description:
After a successful first outing in 2023, Courcey 5 Mile Road Race is back for 2024! This is a looped five mile course taking in the back roads and main roads between Ballinspittle & Garrylucas beach near the Old Head of Kinsale. Starting at Garrylucas beach, the course takes in some fantastic scenery which includes a final mile which will have participants looking out at the Atlantic Ocean passing Garrettstown beach.
Participants must be 16 years or older on the day of the race
Single race entry €20 + booking fee

The Clonakilty 5Mile Run in aid of Cancer Connect & Irish Red Cross, will be a new welcome addition to the Cork running calendar in 2024 and will be held for the 1st time ever on the 28th of January 2024.
The run/walk will commence in the Clonakilty Park Hotel, taking the runners down the idyllic Inchydoney Road and over the first Causeway, past the Clogheen Cottages and back to the Clonakilty Park Hotel for finish line refreshments with proceeds going to both Cancer Connect & Irish Red Cross.

Tom Kelly 8K Sunday 14th January 9.30am start
St Brendan’s AC will host the Tom Kelly 8K on Sunday 14th January 2024 in memory of one of St Brendan’s AC founding members, Tom Kelly. This is the third year of this event. Tom was coach and club dynamo for the first 10 years and inspired both adults and juveniles with his exemplary work over the years. This race has now become an annual event in Tom's memory. We look forward to welcoming you all to Ardfert again this year for this event. It is always a great day and walkers and runners are welcome.
