It was a huge weekend in the Women's Super League, with four derbies bringing drama and big title implications.
Alessia Russo was the standout performer, firing a 22 minute hat-trick to lead Arsenal Women to a dominant 5–2 win over Tottenham Hotspur Women, a statement result in the North London derby.
At Kingsmeadow, Chelsea Women were pushed all the way by Aston Villa Women in a chaotic six-goal first half, but still managed to grind out a crucial win to stay in the hunt.
City’s victory over Manchester United Women could prove decisive in the title race. With momentum on their side, they now need just one more win to secure the WSL crown.
With Arsenal finding form and Chelsea still applying pressure, it’s set up for a tense finish, but the title is firmly in City’s hands.
